She really let's me talk as much as I need to feel better that all bases are covered (even when I know I talk way too much). Deanna is very concerned over her clients satisfaction and the happiness of our furry children. My new sitter is Nicky and so far I'm really happy with her. She saw my dogs on time, sends me photos, texts me about them and even grabbed my trash for me. She accommodates any silly or piddly request of mine with no problem. THANK YOU! :) I have not tried their boarding/overnight services yet but I can confidently say their walking and playtime visits have always been great. Deanna and Brian have even covered for their sitters on the extremely rare occasion an emergency happens and the sitter can't show so that I am NEVER left high and dry. They liked her immediately, which does not always happen, and my husband and I knew that our dogs would be much happier in their own home under her care. Near the end of the meet and greet, she asked if we would like her to take out the trash, water the plants, or pick up the mail! Honestly, I was floored! Not only did the standard and even holiday price cover both dogs, was less expensive than boarding, saved us a trip to drop them off and pick them up, but she was also offering additional services. Oh, and I certainly did NOT miss that kennel smell on the dogs when we returned home. Each visit we received an update on how our dogs were doing along with pictures of their smiling faces, which we shared with our family while we were visiting. It's easy, straightforward, and so very pet focused. Allison and her team seriously can't be beat. I'm not even inclined to try other providers for pet care. Starting out is simple, you fill out a form and schedule an initial visit. Allison showed up within her allotted time slot and met with Spring for the first time while we were home. She talked to us about her, how long have we had her, any issues we've had, and even went over the form we filled out to make sure all the information was correct. She was a dream to work with before we even purchased a service. Scheduling a walk or a visit or whatever you may need is quick and painless. You then get approved based on availability and you're all set. The first service requested was for them to take Spring on a couple of walks and feed her while we spent the evening out of town. They updated us on her mood, route they took, if she went to potty, and if she was able to eat, they provided pictures of my dog on their leash going about the area. All that alone? Excellent. BUT our dog was pretty new and was prone to dumping the trashcan when we left her alone too long. They provided a picture of the spilled trash, and cleaned up as best they could! There were no problems, besides the key not working properly one time. Then, very recently, An absolute NIGHTMARE happened. They locked the keys inside the apartment, and they also left the balcony door open! The screen door was slightly open as well, and since i have a cat, they can get through easily. I live on the 5th floor, this is not a safe height to let a cat stay at, and possibly jump out. This mistake was over memorial weekend, where staff and maintenance as well as my girlfriend and I were out of town or busy. They texted me, and gave me a half hearted insincere apology. When I tried opening their pet sitting portal recently, trying to take up their offer of reimbursing the key lock out fee of $250 over a holiday weekend, they had ghosted me!! I was locked out of my account, and my number blocked. AVOID THIS COMPANY!! They make stupid mistakes and endanger pets -- the very last thing you want from a pet sitting company.

Short story:…read more Rachael is DA BOMB of pup walking and care! We wouldn't trust Dixie and Dylan to ANYBODY else! She's seriously that good, y'all! (Very) Long story: I first met Rachael when my brand-new hubby left on his deployment to Afghanistan last July! As a lot of you can probably imagine, I was freaked out, super-sad, and totally overwhelmed with now having to handle everything in our big house that darling hubby *sobs* usually handled, including pool cleaning, lawn mowing, and dog walking! So, I did what anybody else would have done, and I took to Yelp and scoured the reviews to find a pool cleaner, a lawn mower, and, most importantly, a dog walker for the year! Our precious rescues, Dixie, a harrier hound, and Dylan, an Australian Shepherd, are leash-reactive and rather rambunctious on their best day! We can only truly drain their energy by heroic hubby flying his drone at Camp Mabry, as they chase it across the field for miles. That clearly wasn't going to be happening for a year because my drone-flying skills are very non-existent. Enter Rachael. She walked into our lives and literally changed everything! Our rowdy fur babies took to her immediately, I took to her immediately, and she immediately put a plan together! She was so calm, kind, professional, and competent that I relaxed right away. I just knew that we were in excellent hands! We decided on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday walks, and I handed over our house key without hesitation! Over the course of that deployment year and those thrice-weekly walks, Rachael not only morphed our silly pups into seriously-civilized pups, but she kept an eye on the house like a fierce Mama Bear, brought in Amazon Prime packages, watered plants, scooped poop, dumped the pool leaf basket, drove the pups to grooming and vet appointments, and just took care of anything that she saw that needed taking care of! Dix and Dyl both manifested missing their Daddy in different ways. Dylan, being pretty anxious and OCD, started licking his paws incessantly (Cone of Shame, anyone?), and Dixie, being a champion Houdini, started jumping the fence, and, after I put up fancy 8 foot fences to stop her, she started eating the fence. I honestly wouldn't have been able to maintain my sanity through all of that without Rachael! She worked side by side with me through ALL of that! To call her a lifesaver would be an understatement! So, as I write this, the year has finally ended, and my precious hubby has finally returned safely to me! Thank you, Baby Jesus! He's taken back over the pool cleaning duties and the lawn mowing duties, and we're back to drone-flying at Mabry with the happy pups, but do you know the one person whom we absolutely intend to hang onto from the deployment days? Rachael, of course! She's an indispensable part of our lives now! On top of the three walks a week, she takes care of them during hubby and my frequent romantic staycations, and she just worked hand in hand with our awesome neighbor to hold down the fort during our 8 day honeymoon in Cancun! She's grown her company in the course of this last year, and she has quite a dog-walking team now, but she hires impeccable people, and she keeps a SHARP eye on the whole operation! Rachel was so accommodating and was able to get my super shy dog to open up to her within a week! She also goes above and beyond, bringing in my mail and trash cans. She was amazing when one of my dogs got sick with diarrhea, cleaning up the mess (and the dog), giving me updates for the vet, giving pills, etc as directed, and even changing her schedule to help let my dog out more often. Her rates are reasonable and competitive in the market. I also was very happy that if she needed to have someone sub for her, she will schedule a one on one with me and that person first. I highly recommend Rachael and Ruff Life. My dogs have been super happy with her service and so am I.

Pet sitting doesn't get better than this…read more When we moved to the area, we were in need of last minute pet sitting due to a sudden need to go back to our previous home. Of the multiple pet sitters we contacted, Erica from Fur Your Pets was the most prompt to respond and most personable, and was the start of repeated great pet sitting service. Over the last year and a half, we went from requesting in-home visits to take care of 3 cats, to in-home full day care (pet-sitting and house-sitting combined) for 3 cats and 2 dogs - one being a super rambunctious rottweiler. We did a "trial" weekend stay in preparation for a longer trip, and Erica did a fantastic job of taking care of everyone, even the rottweiler, which we were a bit worried about. Our pets love Erica and being able to stay in a familiar environment while we are traveling really shows. Our dogs get excited when she comes over, and when her visit ends, we come back to relaxed and perfectly normal (maybe a little disappointed to see us rather than Erica?) family. Our pets with prior pet sitters and kennels exhibited a bit of stress and anxiety after we came back, so this is a really great change for them. I can't say enough about how well Fur Your Pets takes care of our pets and home. To the amount of play time and cuddling time they get, to the prompt communications and numerous pet photos we receive, and the patience Erica displays when things go as unintended with our home, we are able to leave our pets in trusted hands, and are always confident that selecting Fur Your Pets for pet sitting was the best choice we made to ensure the well-being of our pets.

I won't lie, part of me kind of doesn't want to write this or say…read moreanything because I don't want to have to fight for my baby to have a great place to stay, but also as a truly psycho pet parent...I know, I'll own it... this place made my heart so happy. This was my third or fourth (can't even remember the others were so traumatizing) doggy daycare to visit. This is the only one that didn't instantly hit me in the face with the smell of urine or wet dog...eww. Also, this one has amazing staff members that actually seem happy in their jobs, not just hating their lives and overwhelmed by dogs. BHV takes a completely different approach to daycare than the others I saw. They keep the dogs in play groups of no more than 8-10 dogs. Others literally got as high as 40! I had a baby anxiety attack just watching it on the monitors. They let the play groups go outside and run around for around 20 minutes and play really hard, then that group goes back to their individual dog set up, which is NOT a crate! It's this precious little white picket fence area where the fence is 4-5 feet tall...pending height of the animals (they have a room for big dogs and a room for small dogs). You bring your baby's bed, stuffed toys, snacks, whatever they need, they provide water bowls, food bowls, etc. There is a big screen TV in all of the rooms where your dog will be resting for some background noise so that they aren't freaked out by every new sound. If you use the normal space with the picket fences, your babies can still see their friends "across the way" so they know they're not alone. During the approximately 1 hr to 1.5 hrs that your dog will be in the white picket fence area resting, there is one staff member coming around a few times to let each dog out to run down the hall and say "hi" to all of it's friends and get a little energy out, if it wants. You can also actually board your animal here over night...they have many levels of quite nice spaces (a couple suites are nicer than my bedroom LOL). This review is not about that, as we only use them for daycare. My dog and others that I've witnessed get so excited when pulling into the parking lot. Drop offs have become "mom, get outta my way, love you bye, I have friends to see". They post pics of the dogs throughout the day on social media so you can see your baby having fun. My husband and I have quickly fallen in love with this place, the lovely "hoos" that run it and even the fellow parents. It just seems like everyone loves being a part of this place. I have zero guilt about leaving my kid here, as I know she is having tons of fun and comes home a tired baby.
