We went to a couple of places, one even where you can watch on an app that was closer to us, but when we went to visit the place, we did not like the "vibe" of the place. When we took a tour (just call, and they will let you take a look at the facility before hand) of Paws Landing, we immediately felt great! We had our puppy for an half day "evaluation" with Durenda, which also made us feel at ease. She is marvelous!!! When we picked her up from that, she went over everything she did, and how she thought our puppy would do. They had her in a small yard first and let our puppy feel safe before they had her with the other dogs. I really like too, how they have the dogs separated into "small dogs", " large dogs" and "very active dogs". She has a great team working with her, watching over them, and most importantly taking care of them all day. They will always send you a text and email to confirm your reservation, which is great. They go inside and outside to play all day. If they go "all day" they will get a 2-hour rest, so they get a break from all the fun! But, believe me, when you pick your dog, they will be tired when they get home, which is "good thing"! Pam will send you pictures later via text of your dog, which is great to see at the end of the day. Now, that my dog has gone for awhile, she gets excited when we get there, and she is excited to see Pam and her team when I drop her off. Look no further for a great place for "doggy day care", Pam and her team will take VERY GOOD care of them, like they were one of their own!!!

Before I was able to schedule the appointment they made sure she had her Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccinations. Since she's 16 and her vet has discontinued her Distemper vaccinations, they were very accommodating and just required a letter from the veterinarian explaining that exception and then they had a really easy and thorough portal to setup a profile and upload those documents, so I the future if I want to use their boarding she'll be all ready as far as vet records go (and it's easy to update in the future). We were happy to see that Megan greeted is and would be doing the grooming since she was the one who we met at NUZZL and did a great job with the nail trim a few weeks earlier. I was told it would be about 2 to 3 hours at most and got a text message at 2 hr 15 minutes saying she was ready to be picked up. Right on time!! There was no rush for me to get her, since she was in a kennel. When I arrived I got a tour of the boarding facilities which looked great and a rundown of how they schedule the day for the pups playtime and walks. It's nice to know they are so close to my house if I need a place in the future. Then my pup Kieli was brought out from the back and her hair was so shiny and I gave her a quick back rub and no hair came flying off. And she usually sheds like crazy!!! My dog was already vaccinated, and had recent veterinary records uploaded, but they made a mistake which I didn't find out about until they tried to charge me for it. They cited an undated note in their files from a previous visit, but had no real way of confirming how it happened, or how to ensure it wouldn't happen again. The mistake was concerning. The reaction to it, or lack thereof, was even more concerning. I've asked to have a manager call me, which hasn't happened, and there is no urgency, or sense of concern from the staff. If they're able to brush off a mistake like that, what else is happening without owner knowledge? In my recent visit there were other smaller concerns, and lack of attention to detail, and I no longer feel confident in the staff.

Camp BowWow has easily accessible indoor and outdoor playrooms. This allows your pups to run free and not be confined, which is a HUGEEE PLUS for us! At our last daycare, they were anxious, scared, and had slobber all over them. This time, happy, excited, and absolutely no saliva on them! We have 2 anxious boys who have different needs: one needs his naps and alone time, while the other needs to be with less aggressive dogs. A few notes: one day of daycare runs for about $26 (per dog), the location is located in an inconspicuous location, & in addition to the usual spay/neuter requirements, a quick release collar and nametag must be on your pups upon entry.

Or puppy at other daycare was extremely nervous to play/potty but not here she had SO MUCH FUN (never too much). For boarding, they give you a daily report card that includes so many pictures of the pups! In addition, they actually encourage owners to bring a bed/toy to make them feel more at home which most other places do not. On the last day they even gave both dogs a bath that wasn't requested by it was an incredibly appreciated thing they did. They have a webcam as well but I did not feel the need to check on it since I knew my pups were safe and having so much fun. It really took the worry out of our vacation I can truly not recommend playful pack and their staff more, we will absolutely be coming back!!

Your dog is given the best type of socialization with other dogs of similar size and energy. Along with the solicitation, you get to learn valuable lessons on how to train and prepare your dog to be the best pet around. What makes this place better than the rest is the property. After touring multiple day cares in Austin, you soon learn that they all give the dogs a box the size of a bedroom to try and get their energy out. HP takes it to the next level with a massive field with toys and obstacles that they can run until they're tired. Our pup would come back each week, and instantly pass out. One word of advice, if you have a dog like ours, be prepared for a bath when you get home, because they will come home dirty. Michael and his team are amazing and take excellent care of our babies. Our previous dog, Cornbread(RIP) LOVED going from the time he was a young boy to a senior man. They took amazing care of him through the years and maintained his many medications when he started to slow down. He was placed with dogs who were at his speed and I loved getting to watch him on the webcams. We later adopted a new dog, who is very selective of who he likes...they were so patient with getting to know him and introducing him to camp. Now he loves it and pulls us through the door as soon as we arrive. We love that we can trust he's in safe hands and know he's having a blast.
