The saddest bo luc lac I've seen (this was $19 by the way)
Gillian A.

Usually I check Yelp before ordering using third-party delivery services but my sister and I wanted to get take-out on a whim. Didn't think I *needed* to check first. Trust was broken, man. Bo luc lac: this place has an abomination of a rendition of this. Super skimpy portion for something that's $19. The beef looked way past its prime (fibrous/falling apart) and was tasteless. Super scam. Sinh to mit: more like canned-jackfruit-turned-into-a-shake. Didn't taste refreshing at all and had too much residual syrup. Bun bo hue: broth is very watered down. Beef was tender, but it tasted a little off (not surprised after tasting the bo luc lac). Big portion and can easily be shared between two people (though not sure why you would want this soup here in the first place). Banh mit thit nuong: bread seemed a little stale (no crisp to the crust and was rather a little gummy). The pork was nothing to write home about. It is a bit of a *wonder* on how messed up this order was. I'm definitely going to check Yelp before ordering delivery from now on, phew.

a skillet of food on a wooden table

I've been going here since the Tango Cafe and then Wonder Cafe days. It was under new management several times throughout the years. This used to be a cafe, not just a restaurant. I go here for one thing, and one thing only. My favorite thing on the menu is chả cá lã vọng. Not a lot of restaurants around carry it. The turmeric in the fish is earthy. It's served on a sizzling platter. The dill adds a hint of caraway. The mắm nêm is pungent.

I ordered number 31 togo for about $20 and the amount of food for it was not worth it. It is pretty sweet for a papaya beef shrimp dish. I went at 10pm (luckily with my bff's) and the location had an empty parking lot, which I was not expecting at all. The workers were hanging out in the restaurant area, which I thought was pretty cute -- the waitresses were extremely nice and helpful, but wearing clubbing dresses. At night, it seems the karaoke-party aspect comes out in full. It gave a 21+ vibe. P.s. Only go at night for the karaoke and bar.

Bo Ne, Vietnamese steak and eggs

We came here for brunch one morning. We loved the vast menu options. I settled for the Bo Ne which was the perfect brunch option coming with 3 various meats, egg, and freshly toasted french bread. I cannot wait to come back and get it again! Don't forget to try their coffee as well!

Bun thit nuong (grilled pork over vermicelli)

So I think I would rate this place a 3 1/2 stars. I only came because my friend said she liked the coffee here. I ordered a bun thit nuong (grilled pork over vermicelli). The pork had good flavor and veggies were fresh. I wasn't a fan of the eggrolls or vietnamese coffee. You have to pass through a group of men sitting outside smoking to get to this place (the smoking really bothers me). And if you like to play scratchers, they have machines inside to buy scratchers and a machine for you to check if you won ^_-. Also saw a couple computers, I don't know what it was but pretty sure it was for gambling too. Definitely another one of those Asian places where older men hang out lol.

Bố nè and cafe sử đã

Great customer service and food tastes so good. Definitely coming back here for more food. 10/10!!! Tastes so authentic!

The receipt stating to not cook the noodles. No where does it say to replace it with egg noodle!!!!

The chef must of been high or drunk. I placed an ordered on door dash for Pho Ga(rice noodle chicken soup). I requested for the noodles to not be cooked so I can have it fresh since it's take out. Anyways for some apparent reason instead of giving me rice noodle, they replaced it with egg noodle! Like why?!!! I ordered Pho and no where on the receipt says egg noodles. So what in the world were y'all thinking Wonder cafe? Do better!!!

The brisket texture was like chewing on rubber bands. Not all that great. Very little condiments.

Good drinks and food. The atmosphere is pretty chill. Quite enough to pick up drinks to go without waiting too long.

Ever since my best friend moved to Sac, she's wanted us to come to Moonbelly. On my most recent…read moretrip to see her, we finally made it happen! So, expect a line lol! Cause we arrived in the morning on a weekend and there was one out the door. The line moves somewhat fast, though, but keep in mind that things sell out fast! Service was all smiles and efficient. Once you're inside, peruse the bakery case, order, pay, and be on your way! They have some picnic tables outside, or you can take it to go. We chose to take ours to go. My best friend got a few pastries, and I enjoyed the Cardamom Bun and the Salty Sesame Croissant. The bun was super cardamom-forward, which I enjoyed, and I loved the savory nuttiness. Both pastries were flaky, buttery, and so soft. I enjoyed sampling my best friends pastries as well! I'm not too familiar with the bakery scene in Sac, but I do enjoy Moonbelly Bakery and would love to come back. The bakery is off Folsom Blvd. with free parking in their lot out front! Go early for all their offerings and indulge!

I love bakery and bread in general, and within that world there can be average baking but Moonbelly does as good as anyone. Their bread has great texture and flavor, their pastries are consistently fresh and well-crafted, and it all just hits the right notes whether you're grabbing something early in the morning or stopping by later in the day. One of the best things about Moonbelly is that there's nothing super specific you have to order because everything is worth trying. There's no single item I'd highlight as "the best" instead it's more like "just try anything here and you'll quite enjoy it." From their crusty loaves to the tender pastries and everything in between, the quality and care are evident in every bite. If you love good bread and genuinely great baking, Moonbelly Bakery is absolutely worth seeking out. I'll keep coming back again and again.

He was not a fan that the granola had raisins/cranberries and large chunks of almonds, but otherwise he liked it. The staff was very friendly. There was plenty of seating while we waited. Let's start with parking. Yes, given the location of main street Stockton Blvd to residential, parking can be quite a challenge here. It almost gives the same vibes as trying to snag a curbside spot at Airport terminals for pick up. Next, ordering. If you've ever just walked up to the counter, placed an order and waited 45 minutes, you'll try to avoid that next time! So... I started ordering ahead of time on their website. It's very user friendly and easy to make selections. However, today, May 2026, while ordering on their website, it literally prompted me to select a time for the order to be ready. OK, I selected 9:20 am. Why was my order not ready till 9:40? Why do you even have a mobile ordering option if i have to wait for 3 guests ordering at the register??? And, finally, there is no expediting. There's usually only 1 cashier. The back office kitchen staff never really surface to greet anyone or ask for names to distinguish orders. Also, why is there not a defined line for mobile pick up orders vs everyone else. It's literally just a walk up cluster fudge of nothing! You order ahead, still have to wait. You order in person, you have to wait. You have questions? Good luck. All of quality and care definitely goes into the baking and foodie experience, but what this business doesn't take into account is that think about your devoted regulars and the impression left. I want to support your business. I live kinda close by, but if I have to wait and wait each time... zero clarity of flow when I do walk up... And pretty much no improvements from my last visit.... It's disappointing.
