I didn't see Bun Bo Hue on any of the 8 page - separated menu. I just ordered it... no clue it would be $19. I was thinking $13-$15. We asked for OJ, no clue it would be $8. This place is in the ghetto. And still looks ghetto. The soup and tea didn't come out hot. The food was not bad but, it definitely not worth the price. Oh, any time a business charges me to use a credit card to do businesswith them, that seals the deal for me. I will not return unless they make changes.

Sizzling Beef
Rachel L.

The place is a little outdated, the establishment changed owners 4 months ago. I ordered a sizzling beef plate and it was pretty good. The only con was that the food took a little while to come out, service was slow and it was expensive ($20). Probably wouldn't go back tbh

This place is amazing. Fantastic customer service. I tried Bun Bo Hue = spicy beef noodle soup the flavor was amazing. So delicious. This place has a very large variety of Vietnamese cuisine can't wait to try different dishes. Would recommend bringing a large family/friends for lunch or dinner because it's really large enough to accommodate many people. They also have food to Go, highly recommended you can't go wrong with this place.

Everything we had was GOOD!! There's a lot on their menu, a little overwhelming but take your time looking through. They have some og dishes on their menu too!

I used to frequent this location when it was a Chinese restaurant--also called Rice Bowl. That place has long since closed, and I noticed a new Vietnamese restaurant had opened in its place. With signage advertising a $14.99 lunch special and a focus on pho, I figured I'd give it a shot. Like others here, I was hoping this could save me the drive out to Stockton Blvd for a good bowl of pho. Unfortunately, from the moment I stepped in, things felt off. The restaurant has a cold, almost eerie atmosphere--vast, empty, and reminiscent of a funeral parlor. Still, I stayed optimistic and gave them a fair chance. The staff greeted me with enthusiasm--probably because I was one of the first (or only) customers that day. I was handed a laminated menu, mostly in Vietnamese, with little English to describe the dishes, which ranged from $12.99 to $21.99. When I asked about the $14.99 lunch special advertised outside, the server pulled out his phone to show a completely separate menu, offering just four fried rice options. Why this wasn't simply included in the printed menu is beyond me. After ordering, the servers began making conversation, asking me how I found their restaurant and why I chose them. While I appreciated the attempt at engagement, it quickly became awkward--my responses were repeatedly misunderstood, and I was asked to repeat myself multiple times. The language barrier made the interaction uncomfortable and forced. When my dish arrived--bun bo hue--an older woman introduced herself as the owner, explaining that their soups are made fresh to order. The servers suddenly switched to fluent English, boasting about their use of premium ingredients not found elsewhere. The presentation was decent, but the soup was bland and the meat had an odd taste--definitely not the quality they claimed. Things got worse when it came time to pay. Although I offered to pay in cash, they refused it, claiming they didn't have exact change, and insisted I pay by card--automatically adding a card processing fee. When I asked if they could waive the fee since I was willing to pay in cash, they reverted back to "not understanding English" and kept asking me to repeat myself, pretending not to grasp what I was saying. Between the unsettling vibe, subpar food, and frustrating service, this was an all-around unpleasant experience. I won't be coming back.

Cháo lòng

Ordered the Cháo lòng. It took quite long to arrive (understandable if it was made to order). It tasted good after adding the fish sauce. It had decent amount of lòng. Service was okay for my family since we spoke viet. The bad: they kept the door open so few flies went in and kept flying at the table, since the mắm attracted them obvs.

Combination Pho

I went here on a Friday evening and they were doing soundcheck for a Halloween party that was happening the next day. With thay, they were able to get to us right away, review menu, and answer any questions regarding dishes. I got their Combination Pho. Pho had clear, clean, and favorable broth. Very much to my liking, plenty of meat, and the meat balls flavor and texture was soooooooo good. First time trying Bo La Lot. I was surprised of how much I LOVED it. The fermented sauce/dip paired so well. Such a flavor burst and so addicting. Service was great. Owner sat down at the table with us since we had a few questions about the hall rental, table pricing, and possible catering. They added to the stage and have new sound and lighting systems. Great personable service. Would definitely revist to try out some other dishes that caught my eye.

Bun rieu
Rachel C.

Was really excited to try this place in hopes of a closer Vietnamese restaurant instead of having to go to Stockton blvd. This place was really disappointing. The hot water (as most Asians like to drink) was not hot, luke warm at best. Bun rieu was ok. Not super flavorful and didn't have much protein. Mostly noodles, some fried tofu, 1-2 pieces of "crab balls" and a random beef bone??.. is that normal in bun rieu Egg rolls weren't super flavorful either and the dipping sauce was not the traditional tangy sweet sauce. It was a little savory buy more bland. It didn't elevate the dish at all. Chicken plate was very small portion. Only one small piece of chicken for 15.99. Not worth it. Vietnamese coffee was decent but they didn't do the traditional drip coffee. Came mixed as seen in the picture Pho was bland, noodles overcooked, and meat was tough. Rare steak was not the normal thin slices. They are these odd chunky pieces To top it off they forgot my order of pho Tai (which is why there is a small bowl-- had to take some from my grandma. The server even told me he's still waiting for my order but it never came. There were 2 servers (older woman who can't speak any English and younger guy who can speak some English) When I was trying to tell the woman my order was missing she had no clue. I waited 30 minutes while everyone was eating at my table. Finally got the attention of the younger guy who took our orders and just told him to cancel my order. When I went to pay I used cash because there is a credit card fee. Total for 6 items was around $82 and change. I gave the woman $100 and she didn't even have cash to give me. She had some guy maybe owner, give her $7. She gave it to me and I had to use a calculator to tell her she still owed me $10... I was frustrated and I just said forget, you can have it as your tip. Won't be returning any time soon.

Good service, the food is well-made, and the atmosphere is cool. Will return again in a few time.

We arrived around 5:15 p.m. and were surprised to see only one other couple dining there. The restaurant was spotless, inviting, and had a calm atmosphere. As we looked through the menu, we were immediately impressed. It wasn't that the menu was huge, it was thoughtfully designed and made everything sound fresh, flavorful, and high quality. One thing that really stood out was the variety of noodle options. I loved being able to choose between thin straight noodles, thick wavy noodles, udon noodles, and spinach noodles. It's such a fun way to customize your meal and something I don't often see at ramen restaurants. The food absolutely exceeded our expectations. The presentation was beautiful, each bowl looked like it belonged in a food magazine, and we couldn't wait to dig in after taking numerous photos! The first bite had us looking at each other in disbelief. Every dish was bursting with flavor. The broth was rich, complex, and absolutely delicious. It was one of those meals where everyone at the table keeps commenting on how good the food is between bites. I ordered the Hellfire Ramen with tofu, my daughter had the Garlic Punch Ramen, and my mom ordered the Japanese-style dry bowl (similar to bibimbap). Every dish was outstanding. I honestly think I was making happy noises with every bite because everything tasted so good. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the flavors were incredible, and every component of the meal felt thoughtfully prepared. My daughter loved hers, my mom loved hers, and we spent the entire meal talking about how YUMMY everything was. What surprised me most was discovering afterward that some of the online reviews are relatively low. Had I read them beforehand, I might have chosen somewhere else, and that would have been a huge mistake. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. The only downside is that it's quite a drive from home, but it was absolutely worth it. Koshi Eats is one of those rare places you stumble upon unexpectedly and then can't stop thinking about afterward. We left already talking about when we could come back. If you're anywhere near this restaurant, do yourself a favor and give it a try. We certainly will be back.

The ramen broth was not super hot like how I enjoy my soup plus the toppings were cold (no bueno) but my wife enjoyed hers tremendously. Unfortunately she can't eat this all the time bc she has to watch what she eats. It did satisfy her craving for ramen however. She had the spinach noodles original tonkatsu style ramen which I had the same except I had the larger flat noodle instead. You have a choice of 4 different noodles. The pork, egg & toppings were satisfying for her. Thank goodness. But I'm super picky about my soup & ramen!!! It is an order at the front & pay up front counter style of restaurant. Then seat yourselves anywhere in the restaurant. The mural on the wall was an awesome piece of artwork which they did an amazing job of it so it made the ambiance of the restaurant a little more appealing than super minimalistic bare casual. Too bad my wife can't eat this all the time. But we will come back another later time as it was just ok for me. I may have to specifically request for very hot soup & not cold toppings!!! lol not sure if they can do that...

They started serving at this location around 2 weeks ago so they are still in their soft opening phase. We visited it Saturday, October 17, 2026 at around 10:30am. We got up early to attend a craft fair and got here as early as we could to beat the crowd. When we arrived there wasn't a line and we were seated right away. Shortly after we were seated they started turning people away due to the kitchen was so behind and thus the wait time would be around an hour. When we heard this we figured it would be between a 30 minute to 45 minute wait for our food. Good thing we couldn't wait for our food and we had plenty of time to spare. It would have been nice if they told us straight out that our food would take between 30-45 minutes. The decor was spot on. There was no planes to watch taking off and landing, but they had aviation decor. The back room is lined with airplane like windows that rotate during your seating. We ordered off the menu the Fried Rice topped with egg. Unfortunately, she ordered it with a dry scrambled egg instead of an fried egg. It was her area and she ate it all so that was what mattered. We also ordered the In Flight Scramble. It came out funky looking. It was mixed with black olives is, I must have missed that ingredient. It was good despite the old look. It was scrambled eggs, with bacon, avocado, diced Ortega chilis, Jack and cheddar cheese, black Oliver's, and potato stoped with salsa and sour cream. It was missing the sour cream, but it wasn't missed as I didn't read the menu that closely and I didn't realize it was missing till I just read the description. It also came with toast or English Muffin. I wanted to eat something different so I ordered the English Muffin with marmalade. I've never had their fried rice before and it was delicious. I would order it again. The In Flight Scramble was good, but looked too funky for me to want to order it again. There are so may appealing items, that I'd order one of the other options on the menu or get the fried rice again. It was very tasty and not too salty. My girlfriend wished that it had green onions in it to add color to it. I loved the Chinese sausage and bacon. As for seating. I wish we could have been seated in the room with the cool windows. It's got such good ambiance. We first sat in the outer room at a table for 2. My girlfriend found the seats very uncomfortable so we requested to be moved. They seated us in a very comfy booth, it really made a difference to have such a comfy seat. As this was there soft opening they deserves some leeway.
