    So many good stuff
    Myrna S.

We love coming here because the cashier lady is super-nice and friendly; she always has a wonderful sunny disposition. The store boasts a good variety of breads and other sundries but best of all, the prices are pretty reasonable, especially when everywhere else you end up paying twice as much.

The bread is deeply discounted. The cashier was friendly and helpful. A large selection of food and snacks.

We are very loyal customers. Quality/Quantity - Here for the Wax and Watch event DIG. My first time and what an amazing event. Fundraising for so many nonprofits, see pictures. Also sponsored by Fifty Fifty Brewing Co; I had a few too many beers, too good of a time. I also found out about Fifty's Grand opening at RPM, which we also supported and attended the next day, see other Yelp Review. Non alcoholic drinks were also available. Too lazy to have brought our equipment for the wax. Plus Mt Rose gives us each 4 free waxes that I rarely use up. Raffle - We did NOT win. Atmosphere - Clean and organized location. Love the NV art on the side of the building/in the parking lot. Cool! See pictures. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 7pm and on Sundays from 10am to 6pm. Small parking lot, but because we came in off peak (weird) hours, it is rarely an issue for us. And today we got lucky as the lot was full but a car gave us his space. Service - The team is so welcoming and friendly. This is the #1 reason we are loyal customers. Events available - See website. Again, my first but NOT last time that I will attend an event. We will probably come back Sunday for the Mt Rose Passholder Spring Sale. Price - Expensive, but worth the quality, service, and culture. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1973. And thank you for also giving 1% to not-for-profit workers "to defend the earth." And having programs that raise awareness of environmental and social issues. My favorite program is Worn Wear. You can either sell Patagonia your used clothes or trade them in so they can fix it. I believe that reusing is better than recycling. Furthermore, they give you credit ranging from $15 to $150.

The architecture is a solid…read morethrowback, very much old-school Reno, with wide open interior spaces that give it a nostalgic charm you don't see much anymore. It doesn't try to be flashy, and that's part of what makes it cool. One of the best surprises is having the Reno library right inside the mall. It adds a strong community feel and gives the space more purpose than a typical shopping center. You'll see people studying, families stopping in, and locals just passing through, which adds to the character. That said, it really feels like there's an opportunity here. I wish there were more stores and restaurants inside to help bring in more foot traffic and energy. With the architecture and built-in library already in place, a stronger mix of shops and food spots could easily turn this into a much more vibrant destination. It's not about high-end shopping or crowds. It's about atmosphere, history, and potential. If you appreciate classic architecture and unique local spaces, Reno Town Mall is still worth checking out.

Supported the following business while we were here - Proper Fit Footwear, Nevada Marketplace, and the library. 14 businesses; I guess the restaurants/businesses on the other side of the shopping center are not part of this mall...? Ambiance - Huge mall, but NOT busy at all. Good restaurants that we frequent on the other side of the shopping center. We rarely come this way. Plenty of mall parking, huge parking lots. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 6pm or 7 pm, see picture. Events - See their website. Service - Good. Price - Proper Fit Footwear, got a pair of shoes for an amazing low price. Will be back in January to see the next set of shoes on sale. Nevada Marketplace - Slightly expensive, but is that (should that) be the cost to support local...? Library = Free, thank you. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since the 1970s...?

I believe his name is Aaron (longish black hair) because he is such a fantastic hype man! He is always bubbly and enthusiastic, and makes me feel so good about my purchases. I generally dread small talk interactions at check-outs, but he makes it genuinely enjoyable. The store itself is great too. If you like to shop at places like Marshall's, Sierra, TJ Maxx, etc., this is definitely the best version of them. I appreciate that the clothes are actually organized, and they have one of the best shoe selections of any store. The prices are generally good and reasonable, but the clearance prices are often extreme deals with the caveat of very limited selection (obviously though, since it's clearance). They also have a really good selection of skin care, hair care, and make up. Those are the discounts I often end up appreciating the most!

Anyways, it is one of my favorite places to hang out, either during the day at Perenn or during the afternoon/evening at Grafted. We (my wife and I) also frequent the other many businesses. I just really like to eat and drink. Atmosphere - Beautiful modern center. Actually, one of my favorites. 8 small businesses to shop. 7 businesses to dine. 6 wellness businesses. See website. Family friendly, plenty of parking. Service - Depends on where you shop, eat, or drink. Most, if not all businesses, are "high end" so service typically reflects that. The ice cream is totally different than any ice cream shop, good to try at least once. One of these times, we will have to attend the special events, never tried those before. I like the fact that they have outdoor seating and have used it many times during the summer months. It helps to have lots of umbrellas for shade since it can be quite hot during the middle of the day when shoppers want ice cream. Since most the eating places are small, the outdoor areas are a huge plus. The pizza here is quite good, so go to try that. I like the Village atmosphere which is unique to Reno. It is almost like the places in Europe. Lots of parking and you can park on the outside of the rectangle, the backside, or in front. Never had an issue finding parking. More shade, and I would give it 5 stars.

There's also clearly marked red tag clearance items in each department. On my recent visit on a Saturday morning, I found good name brands in clothing and shoes, such as Columbia, Eddie Bauer, Levi's, LL Bean, and Crocs. All at discounted-from-retail prices! The store was recently remodeled and everything was neat and tidy. The cashier was pleasant and the line moved at a reasonable pace. There weren't a lot of workers roaming the floors to ask questions, but then again, this isn't a typical department store, so don't expect Nordstrom service!
