That's just not true but I understand the frustration that led to a misunderstanding. I know the owner/chef was busy and working to try improve their marketing, ordering app, and communications. It's a small business so you just have to contact her directly if there is an issue and she will take care of it. I did that every time and I was patient because I want this good cooking to last to feed my family. Seems like great people. I've spoken to her and met the staff who deliver food to my house. I've tried a handful of spots, and the only one that really stood out was Hanu Poke. The portions are generous as I was able to make two meals from my order. The other places I've tried--Detroit Brick Pizza, Streetbird, Wing Trip, and Tejas BBQ--has been just okay. My latest order from Tejas--brisket and BBQ pork sandwiches--was better than fast food, but nothing special. The app is easy to use and gives good order updates, and prep usually takes about 20-30 minutes. Pickup is hit or miss--sometimes it's ready on the shelf, other times you have to ask someone to grab it. I usually do takeout, but the space itself is clean with some seating--just a bit sterile, and there's basically no service beyond pickup. Biggest thing is managing expectations. It's not fine dining--just a step up from fast food, with slightly higher prices.
