I've used Phresh Gourmet meal prep services for about 3 months. Each week, there's different meals on the menu so you'll have a variety. The food has been very tasty. The portion size are a little too small for me though. The service is top notch. Delivery is free is you live in Washington DC. Manny, the chef is very responsive and is so friendly! If you pick up your meals, it's super easy. There's a refrigerator inside of a cookie restaurant. Prices are so reasonable, especially if you purchase a monthly meal plan. read more

Phresh Gourmet - a variety of food in plastic containers - Food Delivery Services Near Me - Washington, DC, District of Columbia

We were charged monthly fee three times after service canceled and not fully refunded.

Their food is really good! I've stayed away from meal prep companies as so many are bland things I could batch cook at home, but their food definitely doesn't come across like mass produced baked chicken or fish. Good flavor, healthy portions, easy/on-time delivery. Very happy with them read more

We just did one month of the 20 meal plan and are going to increase to 40 meals. The food is fresh and the flavors are delicious. Everything has been cooked perfectly! Our only challenge is that 1 meal is not enough food, so we are ordering 3 of everything to split things 1.5 meals per person. Regardless of the portion issue, it has been so helpful to have these meals on hand for lunches and dinners. The customer service is responsive and I really appreciate the compostable packaging - I hate getting takeout and all the waste that creates. Highly recommend trying this service! read more

I feel bad it has taken me this long to write this review! I am a long term meal delivery customer. I have tried at least 5 different meal delivery services, both local and online and I honestly feel that Phresh Gourmet is the best. I had been a customer if Phresh Gourmet for over a year. I think I was one of their first customers. They are phenomenal. The food is amazing. The customer service is the best. The selection and variety of meal choices is very impressive. I like the fact that the macros are printed in each meal and on the site, helping with meal planning for my fitness goals. The only think I would change is listing the ingredients. I recently learned that I have an insane amount of food sensitivities and that is a dramatic hinderance and pretty much knocks me out of the meal delivery game. Do your self a favor and give them a shot! You won't be disappointed!! read more

First and foremost the food here is phenomenal. I attended one of their events and the food and the service was amazing. The workout was hard but made me feel great, they even had bottomless mimosas. Because of the exceptional service, I decided to place a order a few weeks later. I got the teriyaki salmon. The sauce and the fish complimented itself so well, not only was it healthy it was delicious. I'm excited to place another order I have my eyes on the chicken kabobs. read more

I've been ordering from Phresh Gourmet for 2.5 years now since I moved to the DMV, which in and of itself says a lot - I have been pleased with the meals and service this whole time! The meals are fresh and well-portioned, and every week there are a good variety of options to choose from. Also, the meals only need to be heated up (they are not frozen nor require additional prep), which is very convenient. Service is top notch also - from deliveries to answering any questions I may have. I highly recommend Phresh Gourmet! read more

My boyfriend and I have been ordering from Phresh Gourmet for over 6 months, and have been really happy with our experience. We order 3 meals each to take for lunches during the week. Sunday delivery is super convenient and consistent. Definitely recommend this company! The food is good, packed with veggies, offers a ton of variety, and is really filling. The prices are also reasonable around $10/meal, and well worth the time saved on meal prep. I'm pretty particular about what I eat, but Phresh Gourmet's food is fresh and tastes as close to homemade as I've found. I've tried other national meal delivery services, but the food looked and tasted like it was shipped across the country. I like that I can support a local business and know that my food was prepared within a couple miles of where I live. Most dishes reheat well in the microwave. Some of our faves include: Spaghetti Squash Bolognese, Moroccan Chicken, Turkey Meatloaf, and Turkey Lasagne. Salmon dishes are also good, just make sure to eat any fish dishes first. My coworkers always comment on how good and healthy my lunches look. read more

This is my 3rd time ordering with Phresh Gourmet. And I have to agree that their food is pretty good. I generally order meals for the week and pick up on Sundays. The customer service is fast and very responsive whether it's via text or email. Now to the meals! One of my favorite things they offer is Cauliflower fried rice! If you are looking for a great low carb option it goes great with most of their meals I have tried. Right now my favorite entree is the Cajun beef with cauliflower fried rice. The flavor profile is unmatched. Great spices and a good kick to it as well! My suggestion for improvement would be for them to choose meats that when heated are not tough. For example I have had beef and fish with the company and each time when heated the meat is tough and dry. That would be my only complaint. Other than that, like is said previously flavors are great, customer service is good, prices are reasonable and they make ease of business easy. I'm going to continue to purchase! One request, can the Cajun beef be made Cajun chicken with the same sauces?!? I think that would be so good! Also if there was an option to build your own combination like maybe with a specific sauce on meat, and an option of a side. I feel like I saw it before but it's no longer a choice... Overall thanks for the meals! Loyal customer- B read more

With a new baby on the way, we were looking for a prepared meal service that would deliver in our area (Rockville), be healthy, and affordable. Phresh Gourmet is all of that and more than expected. We tried out 8 different meals last week and really enjoyed them all. We just placed our order for next week. We use the meals for lunch and sometimes dinner as well if we're busy. Ordering on the website is easy, the company is very responsive, delivery was on time, and the prices are more than fair. We were surprised that meals delivered on Sunday were still yummy on Friday (steak and potatoes at that). Also, if you are environmentally conscious, you can give back the plastic containers at your next pick up and they recycle directly with their supplier. So glad we found an affordable solution that is healthy at the same time. Almost too good to be true! read more

I have been ordering regularly from Phresh Gourmet for the past several months after switching from another local meal delivery company and have never been disappointed with any of the meals. Unlike the last local company I was using which never changes its menu, Phresh Gourmet changes its menu about every 2 weeks. The choices vary widely and all reheat well, even when nearing the end of the work week. I've never had a problem with meat or seafood drying out when reheating. Everything is absolutely delicious, healthy, and the portions are satisfying. The owner and delivery drivers are pleasant; customer service and communication are great. As a busy working mom, I'm so glad to have found this place to help keep me on track for breakfast and lunch. Give this place a try! read more
