Food taste: In other weeks, I've had to add my own sauces. I always order the deluxe portion for 20% more food because the regular size is too small for me. I cook and add more veggies because most prepared foods don't give me enough. The only thing I needed to add to these last meals were a pinch of salt, but this makes sense because the food is made for all types of people. Delivery: I love the fact that the food is delivered to my doorstep. They deliver on Sundays and seem to be providing service every other week now. There are 4 options available but you can adjust how many servings you want of each meal. Service: No issues and I get a prompt response each time.

I work alone in an office and I can't leave to get lunch so on some days when I didn't bring my lunch, I liked to order from food scooter , it was always a $15 minimum and a $5 delivery charge. Now it's going to be over $30 and I'd have to add on a bunch of items that I know I won't be able to eat. I guess it's good for large office orders but not all of your customers are groups of people, I'm sure most are people who can't leave to get lunch. I guess it's back to Chinese takeout or pizza for the days I'm desperate.

He also claimed he had sent a text stating there was a delay, but I never received it. Although he was apologetic, it's completely unacceptable!! BTW, still waiting on the food to arrive.

I gave it a try and had four deliveries. I'm waiting for my last one next week since I've already…read morecancelled my account. Overall, the food was decent for prepared meals and met my dietary needs. However, there were two big issues that ultimately made me switch to another service. 1. The website The website is very confusing. When I tried to change my meals, the new selections wouldn't save. There is just too much going on, and something that should be simple becomes unnecessarily complicated. Eventually, I gave up and just accepted the preselected meals. And I used to be a web designer, so I generally know how to find my way around pretty much any technology. If I gave up, I can only imagine how frustrating it might be for someone less comfortable with websites and apps. 2. The biggest issue -- delivery This was ultimately the dealbreaker for me. My last three orders arrived so messy that I was actually disgusted to touch the containers. They are not properly sealed, so the liquid leaks out, the food gets shaken and mixed together, and some of the meals arrive looking like porridge. I had to wrap each container in plastic before putting it in my refrigerator because everything was wet and messy. The paper sleeves around the containers would arrive soaked, dirty and literally falling apart. I don't know if this is just happening with my deliveries or if other customers are experiencing the same thing. My most recent delivery did have some additional cushioning placed on top inside the shipping box, which was an improvement, but that doesn't really solve the problem. The individual meals still aren't secured inside the box, so they get shaken around during transportation and the contents leak and mix together. After three deliveries like this, I gave up. The food itself was decent, but the delivery and packaging problems were enough for me to cancel and switch to another service.

Four out of five stars?? Really? Yes…read more This review is based on four orders placed through Yelp! over a three month period. Have ordered by phone directly to the store a few times a year for the prior four years or so. Accuracy: 100%, no mistakes, no missing items. Once, one "defective" fortune cookie had no fortune inside. Not a big deal and frankly out of Jenny's control. On time: 100%, all delivered within the estimated 45-60 minute; twice in under 25 minutes. Quality and quantity were good. Family enjoyed the meals and no one was hungry afterwards. Customer service, no issues. By ordering through Yelp!, avoided the language problems I've had when calling in orders directly. Jenny's is not some awesome restaurant; it's a delivery option for a quick meal. If your expectations are realistic, you should be happy with them. "Fine print" They offer a lot of non Chinese food options the we have not ever tried (subs, pizza, wings, etc.). Beef with broccoli, 8 piece fried shrimp meal, sweet and sour chicken, etc., all the Chinese meals tried have been good. One minor gripe, none of their drink options are available when ordered through Yelp!; well worth not dealing with the language problems if ordering directly by phone.
