    Pokebowl
    Jen S.

Great concept. The store looks newly opened, bright vibes, and has a lot of seating but not a lot of people - seems like people are mostly ordering for pickup instead. It did not look busy. I came here for their pokebowl and it was ok - not the greatest but also not the best. The issue was I ordered the half rice and half greens but received fully greens and no rice. Make sure to check your orders before you leave. If you do check this place out, highly recommend to order by app for your first order for the $5 off deal. You can also refer your friends for another discounted deal. If you do want to order in store, there are 4 kiosks where you can pay by card or you can opt for cash option and pay at the pick up area with staff.

I had brisket from Tejas Barbeque by Wonder and it was pretty good. It came with three sauces and a couple of slices of pickle. The brisket was tasty and moist. Pick up was scheduled for about an hour and a half after order but you can pay extra to get it quicker or join wonder Plus. You ordered by time slots. I took my food to go but the place was open and clean.

Mushroom and goat cheese bruschetta (left) Lobster roll (right)

This was my first time trying this type of food concept. It's interesting how there's multiple restaurants served in one location. I took advantage of the Wonder's first time offer deal. I decided to splurge and go for a lobster roll (JJ lobster roll restaurant) and Mushroom and goat cheese bruschetta (Walnut Lane Restaurant). I definitely love the lobster roll since you can't really go wrong with it (although I wish it was warm!) , but I wasn't really a fan of the goat cheese bruschetta. I think they may have burnt the bread. This place has ample seating so that's a plus. Service was pretty quick and I ordered on the app for pickup. I'm still willing to give this place another try even if it is kind of expensive.

Tiny portion of onion rings with gross sauce from Sweet Bird
    karen b.

There is a reason the phrase jack of all trades master of none exists. I have ordered a few times to be sure it wasnt a fluke and I order from multiple times. The fried chicken from Sweet Bird both the sandwiches or the tenders were average at best. The best thing about it was the BBQ sauce, but not worth $15. The Greek food is an abomination. The chicken I got was gray, the feta def wasn't feta and probably serves a dual purpose as cojita with the Mexican restaurant. The eggplant spread was so bitter that it was inedible. Also my potatoes came with wilted parsley and the pitas were tiny, cold and prob purchased from ctown. My son liked his kids burger and declared it was so good- it tastes like McDonalds. Do yourself a favor and sabe the cash. We have so many amazing local chefs that are the masters of their craft, avoid this overpriced place and get some tacos on Roosevelt.

    Chicken Parmigiana
    Mimi B.

I went to a great new eatery today called Wonder. This is how they explain the concept: "From Michelin-star spots to hidden gems, our team of experts select the country's best version of your favorite cuisines. Then our chef partners teach us how to replicate their dishes." I decided to order from Alanza. This one features Italian food. I got Chicken Parmigiana and a side order of Tortiglioni Pomodoro. I got two big chicken cutlets that were so tender and tasty. And the Tortigliioni was al dente and in a nice light and flavorful tomato sauce. I had enough for two dinners. I will definitely be going there again. You can eat there but I got mine to go. Treat yourself to a Wonder-ful meal!

    Thai Peanut Salad
    Al D.

I ordered the Royal Greens, Thai Peanut Salad. It was the most delicious Thai salad I've ever had. So much better than Chopt or Fresh & Co. The ingredients were so fresh and the chicken and pita were delicious. The dressing was amazing! Looking forward to trying the other "restaurants."

Look out Katz's! I was looking for it up on the menu board, but all I saw was pastrami baos & pastrami rice box. I asked if it was still available and my man hooked me up by popping 2 thick slices of whole grain bread into the toaster and started to hand carve a big hunk of pastrami. I thought I was getting about half of what he pulled out, but he proceeded to pile it all on the bread after squirting on a slew of grainy deli mustard. He apologized for running out of pickles, but all I could think was "Take my money and gimme my sammich!" Even as I cradled the closed plastic container, the smell of hot pastrami permeated my whole bus ride home and I couldn't wait to dig into that salty, peppery crusted, fall apart tender meat sandwich. I'm sure the other people on the bus were jealous. Next time I might even try out some of the other rice & noodle dishes, but that smoky pastrami smell still lingers on in my mind.

Kimbap (cooked sushi rolls), Spam Musubi is nice to try (but got sick off of one bought late in the day). Korean rice cakes are just okay - kind of dense & almost zero sugar/sweetness. * The marinated raw meat bar is convenient & just okay. Chicken thighs are good - like a sweet chili marinade with a hint of soy. Bulgogi is convenient but the marinade is a little too sweet for me. Have to try the pork belly, chicken wings, maybe breast... * Kitchen Supply & Home Goods sections are excellent. Buckwheat pillow, Dishwashing gloves (& kimchee/house gloves), lots of Korean pots & pans, dinnerware, cooking utensils, tupperware - well priced. Bought a small-medium sized minimal-designed white fan (clear blades) which looks great in my apartment. They have some beauty products also. The "Italian green scrub towels" seem like they're made differently these days, a decent price there. Try the different types of packaged individual microwaveable Rice (mixed grain, purple rice, Gold brown rice) They carry Fever-Tree Sparkling Cucumber & Quinine tonic water! * Cafe & Bakery section: similar quality as Paris Baguette. All very fresh. Custard bun, Any sponge/chiffon cake with not-too-sweet buttercream, Soboro (peanut crumble topping bun) Had an Matcha Einspanner drink - well made & medium-strong flavor. * Stationary shop & video & dance dance games up front * Not a huge fan of their food court food. Had a Jajiangmein (Black Bean Noodle) & it wasn't very flavorful. Rice Boy looks okay. All the menus have a lot going on & wish there was specialized items/regions for each stall. $1.99 matcha & ube Ice Cream had very little flavor. * Very convenient to Q104 bus between Sunnyside & Astoria. 2 blocks from 46th St. Subway (exit at 48th St. side)
