First, they severely lacked vegetarian options. They basically only had margherita, plain slice or you can add veggies on top of the plain slice (which I've tried elsewhere and it's never good because they're not fully cooked). The Margherita slice was very interesting as it wasn't full of sauce, but instead had dollops of sauce on top of the cheese along with some basil leaves. I've never had a slice like this before. Unfortunately, BOTH slices were crazyyyyy greasy (see photo I uploaded). So much so that it was literally dripping as I ate them, even AFTER I dabbed off as much as possible. Additionally, I wasn't a fan of the taste of the dough. Since moving to NYC, I've begun eating pizza crust (something I never used to do) as I've found that NYC style pizza typically has very tasty dough, making the crust a delicious finish. However, the taste of the dough here was a bit off. Hard to describe, but it wasn't the flavorful taste I've had at most other pizza shops. It was very bland and unsalted, maybe? Whatever it was lacking made me not want to eat it. Not worth the extra calories/carbs for something that didn't taste good. I, personally, won't be returning. Which is unfortunate because this place is extremely close to my job. PRO TIP: bring cash, if you can! They have a $6 minimum for credit card purchases and they charge an additional fee when using credit cards. However, if you order at least 2 slices (like I did), you'll easily surpass the minimum.
