LOVE this pizzeria. I have been coming here since 2011 and it always hits. The pizza is bomb my favorite thing has always been this spinach chicken garlic lemon panini. It also seems like they have upgraded it recently to have REAL garlic chunks in it. I haven't been in person to eat in a while so I cannot speak to that but delivery is always seamless and handled by the restaurant on slice. Which is amazing because these other delivery services OVERCHARGE. this sandwich is enough to fill my mother and I and ends up costing us $14.14. 10/10 would recommend. read more

I ordered take out online and was given a 10:30pm-10:55pm time for pick up. Arrived well within that time but they were closed. I requested a refund via the online app. Wish I would have been notified of the early restaurant closure before walking there since it's an extremely cold night. while I did not get to try the food, due to this experience I would not order here again read more

I have lived in the neighborhood for around two years and never went to this place until today, I am very happy! Ordered a large margarita pizza and garlic knots at 7 PM on a Friday night and it only took 20 minutes! $32 for the pizza, garlic knots, and 20 ounce soda. Lots of seating for a small place and an absolutely massive menu. The crust was a little too doughy but I know plenty of people who like it like that. Will definitely be coming back! read more

I don't know what they've changed but now Gianni pizza taste bland, uncooked and cheap on the toppings. I always have to cook extra 10 minutes. I'm no longer buying here but I really think Giannis should add some Italian seasonings & garlic butter to their dough it tastes like straight cardboard read more

I noticed this pizzeria in my neighborhood for the longest time and finally decided to give it a go. I ordered three slices of pizza, all of which were very fresh. I also went for the garlic knots (five pieces for $2.50) and Mexican Coca Cola (if you don't have a beer opener, ask them to open it for you). Mexican Coca-Cola taste different than usual Coca-Cola. I'm sure people have noticed this already. My total for all that came out to be $14, which is pretty good. There seems to be a lot of space in this place and they have a large television screen as well. They also have cute historic Queens photos, which were very interesting to see (especially the Neighbourhood of Jackson Heights). I didn't notice any air-conditioning in this place. However, I did go during September, where it wasn't so hot outside. read more

Update - please, please be careful when you order their soup! No one should have to experience this horror. We ordered dinner from them again after having a long day. I wanted to give their soup another try so I went with the lentil soup and shared it with my son. He bit into the 1st plastic piece last night and I bit into the 2nd one this morning after saving it for leftovers, hoping that would be the only piece. As you can see these are very pointy and sharp pieces and could have done damage to ones mouth. I have already filed a complaint with DOH and reported this to Seamless. Please be careful! read more

Seeking the right pizzeria close to home. After a few bad experiences elsewhere I ordered from here. Lady on the phone was polite but could barely hear the order due to background noise from a child. Luckily order went in and delivery came. Mixed peppers and sausage, couldve had more topping. Decent pie in size. Flavor was good, pizza was crispy and cheesy but could def use a bit more tomato sauce. After a few bites it felt dry so hopefully they can add more so the slice stays moist. Came in a good half hour, wil consider trying it another time to see what their Hawaiian looks like. Def recommend if seeking a good slice of pizza in queens. Med 25$ read more

I don't think I've actually ever ordered pizza from here- though the beef patties are the standard. My family orders from this place often on weekends when we want lasagna. We've had red sauce pastas like lasagna and eggplant parmigiana, but lately we have started ordering chicken alfredo and ordering a new sauce- penne alla vodka with chicken. They are more flavorful- not dry, creamy and the chicken even seems grilled. There might have been a change in cook, but whatever it is the pastas taste better. I've just had an issue once when ordering delivery because the order seemed to not go through and so I've started picking up. Should be noted that if you pick up- the young guy at the register is super polite and the cook can be angry- but definitely seems like he knows what he is doing! read more

My bf and I ordered the following here: 1) Margerita Pizza - We both liked the sauce for the Pizza... but agreed that the crust was too thick for us. We were expecting more of a thinner crust (though it may be hard because we ordered a large size - which was 16"). 2) Pasta w Spinach in Marinara Sauce - The sauce was good again. However, the spinach was too cooked that it looks like the puke green look. I like my veggies with the healthy green look. The spinach soaked up a good amount of the sauce - YUM! The pizza is good for the neighborhood just to tie me over if I have cravings. Otherwise, I would make the trek out to Lombardi's in Manhattan or Sac's in Queens. read more

Ordered through Grubhub a contactless delivery. Driver came knocking I was like ok whatever he gave me the food but wouldn't leave and he was showing me receipt saying tip. I was trying to explain to him even though he wouldn't speak English that I give tips THROUGH the app I used which is Grubhub. He wouldn't leave and was pressing me about the tip. 5 mins later the store called me also in a hostile mood again demanding a tip. Grubhub is aware of the entire incident and said they will investigate. I will never order from this unprofessional store ever again. Also pizza was good but the two sandwiches were dog sh read more

One of the only pizza spots left in Jackson heights that is my go to spot. Pizza is solid nothing fancy just a NY style pizza. There is outdoor seating in the backyard for the warmer weather. I usually order from here for myself and my kids 3-4 times a week but after today's experience I'll never order again. I ordered a pie for my kids because it's their favorite. It arrived late and to top it off it was not edible. It was messed up and folded in half like the delivery driver was flipping the box. The worst part was that after speaking to gianni's they wouldn't replace the pie. So after waiting an hour and a half I had to tell my daughter and son they weren't having pizza. Very poor customer service given the amount of business I've given them over the years. read more

Horrible customer service. Placed an order through grubhub. The grubhub driver bent the pizza box. When I opened the box all the cheese was stuck to the top of the box. Grubhub issued a full refund. About 5 minutes later the owner called to yell and complain about the refund. Will never order from here again. They just lost a customer of 10 years read more

I order from here all the time. I tonight i decided to try a wrap which is not usually what i order. They told me 20 minutes which is fine. After about 30 minutes i look to the back and to see what is taking so long, and i notice the woman making my food was wrapping up touching my food without wearing gloves. You cannot handle ready to eat food with bare hands by law. I asked the man if she was touching my food with bare hands and he said they constantly wash their hands. Hand washing is not adequate here when touching with ready to eat foods. Absolutely disgusting. Will be reporting them. read more

I have been in this pizzeria many times, alone and with my children. Not that they have have great pizza but it is close to home. Gianni's was our go-to pizza place in Jackson Heights. Sadly, it's not anymore. Since the beginning of summer the food has deteriorated. (My guess is the original owners sold to someone else.) The calzone that we ordered tonight was inedible -- stale and mushy pizza dough with a tiny bit of mozzarella and a tiny bit of ricotta cheese -- and slices of meatballs. It hardly resembled the calzones of Gianni's past. The Tortellini soup was just okay, but with way too too much black pepper. The last time we ordered pizza, it was stale and inedible. We all hoped it was just a fluke. We will now be looking for a new Jackson Heights pizza place. read more

Great Pizza. They have really stuck around in a place that is always changing. the kids from 145 usually eat here and so did I back when pizza was around $1 a slice... I placed my order through the seamless app. I called after 60 minutes and was told it was on its way. Another 30 minutes pass and I call again to be told by a completely different person answering the phone, "it is on its way now; give it like five minutes. " I told the second person who answered I had been given that information 30 minutes prior. He either did not listen to me or did not care! I tend to be very lenient with delivery times since I used to work as a delivery person, but this is truly unacceptable to me. There is no excuse for telling me one thing then telling me the same thing 30 minutes later. After a full hour and 45mins, the delivery showed up...just now. I think an owner was the one delivering. He was very apologetic and said a cook and two others did not show up today, w/o reason. He apologized again saying the shop was really in the weeds today and he appreciated my patience. I might have thought he was being dismissive and placating, but he did the honorable thing by: A) doing deliveries himself to cover B) being apologetic & offering an explanation C) making sure I knew he had called seamless already himself(!) to have the cost of my order fully refunded for the massive delay D) being very honest/sincere about the whole shop being off today and not BS-ing about it and throwing a particular person under the bus. If it was an owner who delivered today, brava sir. As I said at my door, I've spent many years in food service and I know it can sometimes hit the fan w/o warning. I also still appreciate the forethought of calling to have my bill refunded. That was a step which earns you my continued willingness to dine with you. read more

I've never liked Gianni's pizza. It's not very flavorful, if you get them by the slice it's not crispy, just thin. Also they're a bit small. There are better options in the area. Gianni's pizza is somewhat like dollar pizza. Only it's not a $1, but if it were Id still only give it 3 stars max. Gianni Pizza, this spot hits me right in the childhood, a classic New York City slice of pizza and to this day my favorite pizza to eat in new york because the taste of nostalgia that comes with it. The Pizza has the perfect combination of cheese, marinara sauce and greases. The greases ooze and make the experience far better than a lot of other pizzas. Don't be fooled by the negative reviews, Gianni pizza is the way to go. Going into the pizzeria you get the authentic Italian food feeling and you can feel that the pizzas are made with passion. Growing up in queens as a child this was the closest pizza spot to me so I would always walk to Giannis with my uncle, creating some of my happiest days with each bite of their juicy and tasteful slices of pizza. Thank you Gianni's Pizza for years of excellence. Ciao read more

Not happy. I would get this pizza all the time when I was younger. I was hoping to get that nostalgic pizza feeling and I didn't. The pizza was sauceless and the dough was tough. Worst service ever. I've repeatedly been left waiting well over an hour during non-peak hours to have a pizza delivered three blocks away. Tonight, I placed my last ever order with this place. I ordered a pizza at 6:50 pm on a Monday and called at 8 pm to see what the hold up was this time. When I called, the man said they did not have my order. When I asked to speak to the manager, the guy implied I would not get my food if I insisted on speaking to the manager. When I asked him for his name, he refused to tell me. This is my local pizzeria so I come here all the time. They sell very standard solid pizza here. It won't knock your socks off, but it will satisfy your pizza cravings. Their Sicilian slice is pretty bomb and their chicken rolls are pretty good too, but it's all about the plain slice for me. It's not bad, but I've definitely had better plain slices at other places. The interior is a nice little pizzeria that can comfortably seat you and your friends and the serves get you your pizza quick. I think this place is a nice convenient place to satisfy all of your pizza cravings. read more

Quite disappointed. While the delivery took a little more than an hour, and the delivery guy was pleasant, the pizza was not what I ordered. I ordered the extra large grandma pie with pepperoni. The pie that arrived was the same size as every other grandma pie I've had in other restaurants, and not the "extra large" I believe I paid extra $ for. Also, lo and behold, there was no pepperoni on top, even though I paid extra $ for that, too. I've just moved to this area, so I definitely need to do my homework with pizza places. I'm 1 for 3 so far. read more

Terrible pizza! I've struggled to find good pizza in Jackson Heights in general, and let's just say that Gianni's didn't help change that. The pizza is made with way too much dough, has very little sauce or cheese, and this is the first pizza I have ever had to add my own salt to. read more

To be fair, I completely forgot that I tried this place last year, and wrote a review (this is what happens when you drink too much, Christopher...). So I tried them again, this time for a special calzone, pasta with spinach, penne alla vodka with chicken, pasta bolognese, and pasta with pesto. They've improved. The calzone was solid, and of the area options I researched, they had the most options for add-ins. Pasta with spinach? Eh. Frozen spinach. A bit bland, but hearty, and nothing a little seasoning didn't help. Vodka pasta? Doable. Big portion, nice balance of sauce, protein, and starch. Probably frozen chicken. And needed a little garlic to help it out. But decent. Pasta bolognese was really nice, though didn't come with the peas as advertised. Pasta pesto was really awesome. I was a bit thrown off when there were tons of sun-dried tomatoes up in that joint....but it all worked, and was the pasta star. Lunch for a week, arrived on time this time, and, when I'm in the mood for a calzone, I might just order again! read more

Found this place by chance on Google. Ordered a cheesesteak for delivery. They took over an hour to deliver the food and they made my cheesesteak wrong.
