Some of their other options looked good but if you can't make a plain slice what's the point. Probably the worst slice in the neighborhood. A little harsh but it is what it is. This review is for takeout/delivery only. My husband, brother, and I ordered three individual pizzas last night, and it was our first time trying Elements Pizzeria. We ordered a pepperoni Detroit as well as standard 12" Sami Supreme and Buffalo Chicken pizzas. Unfortunately, they mixed up our order and accidentally sent a plain cheese instead of the Buffalo Chicken. They were very apologetic and refunded that portion of the order, which I appreciated. In terms of the pizzas we received, both the cheese and Sami Supreme were a bit soggy and could've used a reheat, but they were decent overall. The cheese was pretty basic, but I generally feel that way about plain cheese pizzas, which is why it's never my go to. The Sami Supreme was tasty but has pickled onions and peppers that were a bit too sweet for me, so I picked them off. I liked the broccoli rabe a lot though and thought it was a delicious addition. The pepperoni Detroit pizza was the only pie where I felt the sourdough was actually noticeable. It was a bit thick but was nice and crispy, and they were very generous with the pepperoni cups. I would try this place again but probably go in person rather than order delivery. I'm sure it's a much better experience. I recently found out that the owners are the same family behind Parva, which is a huge selling point given that Parva is easily the best bakery in Jackson Heights. Checked out this place- promoting sourdough slices in a modern, upbeat pizza place with many options to choose from. Elements is new to the pizza game and exists in an area with a lot of good food options. Order at the counter and food is brought to you, there are about 4 booths and several tables. The sourdough crust is excellent. There are a rotating variety of slices to choose from. For this visit we sampled: Classic- decent cheese to sauce ratio, light texture and crunch crust. A bit oily. Good pizza but not great anymore. The bottom and the crust is not crispy. The crust was also pretty big (about 1 inch thick). The garlic knots are huge (more like rolls) but not good. They were too tough and chewy due to the sourdough and not enough garlic. read more

First time here. Classic cheese slice was exactly what it should be. Pesto-Roni slice was special- perfect burnt edges Sicilian crust, sweet/salty pesto and slightly bitter and crunchy broccoli rabe. I had an ice-cold Narragansett and they gave me a free sample of garlic-rosemary bread. Such a nice experience I highly recommend it. read more

I've been to Elements twice. The first time was for Valentine's Day for a pizza making class. The overall experience was great, I definitely recommend as they gave you the restaurant's history and you get a tour of the kitchen. The pizza is very light but filling. I am excited to have a great pizzeria in the neighborhood with good pizza, tap beer, and a cool vibe. For my first visit, I decided to try a classic plain slice, a kale Caesar salad, and a Diet Coke. The pizza was a great classic New York style, thin crust slice. The slice was served hot with a great crisp crust and gooey cheese. The Kale Caeser salad was freshly made with baby kale. I don't typically care for tomatoes in my Ceasar salad, but the roasted tomatoes in this dish were a nice addition. The croutons seemed to be homemade, but unfortunately, they were a little soggy, and the salad was slightly overdressed for my liking. If I order the salad again I would get the dressing on the side. Exceptional. I've had their pizza twice and have concluded that this is not just the best pizza in Jackson Heights (by a mile) but really only has Philomenas (in Sunnyside) as a competitor to best pizza in all of Queens. The product is exceptional, with sourdough pizza, great quality cheese and sauce, and the perfect finish of shaved parmesan right before they hand it to you. The only thing that could make it better would be a basil leaf. Elements is fairly new and I am over the moon happy to have them here in Jackson Heights. There's no lack of pizza in JH, but this is next level. The other places are half a step up from fast food pizza. Here's a few other nice touches: inside the place is well lit, very clean, and they've got beer on tap. Outside you'll find a pretty dope mural. I love the mural since it helps folks find the place easily, isn't an eye-sore, but still gives you that instagram'able opportunity. Best neighborhood pizza we've had in Jackson Heights. Solid regular slices (and they kindly cut it for the kids), but also great options for me with nightshade sensitivity-- the kale Caesar salad was fresh and yummy (just opted for no tomatoes), and the "fun guy" white slice with mushrooms, ricotta, and lemon was satisfying and had great flavor. My only complaint is that the garlic knots could be 10x more garlicky for me personally, I prefer them absolutely drenched, no vampires (or humans) coming near me for days. But no stars deducted because this place gets major points for being exceptionally CLEAN and tidy, with some cute low counter seating in the back that was perfect to share with the kids. And their dough being sourdough based was really excellent, it added nice depth to the pizza slices without being noticeably different, and it impacted flavor of the knots but in a positive way (just give me moreee garlic next time!) Staff was friendly, right off the Q63/66. Next time we have to try the meatballs which are advertised as freshly ground housemade. read more

Always in the search for a great slice in Queens and I think we may have found it. Sour dough pizza is a new concept for us so we were curious to try since I have been on a sour dough kick recently. Loved all the sourdough options from pizza to garlic knots to meatball subs. The dough is definitely crisper. We were curious about one of the square pizzas and asked what it was but ultimately decided not to order it since we weren't that hungry. I ordered delivery of a mushroom pie, literally within the last couple days of this post. Overall, they get 2 stars for quality ingredients - The sourdough crust was excellent, not too sweet or salty - it didn't obtain that crisp "bite" of other crusts (even upon reheating) but the good flavor shines through. The tomato sauce wasn't overly salty/sweet and tasted of quality. It was lacking in seasoning so came across as "generic" and there was very little of it to balance out the bigger flavors from the cheese and crust - it got "lost" in the slice. The cheese was also of good quality and not too salty or oily; however, it was overcooked, probably due to my explanation below. The mushroom pie itself loses 3 stars because the pizzeria pulled a "move" on me, recall this was ordered online, not in person... The mushrooms seemed ok, nothing special, and there was decent coverage, but no more than what any pizzeria offers. They also arrived barely cooked and this is significant for a few reasons: First, it's a cardinal sin to look at any topping as an afterthought given they charge 5 dollars for them and it's clear they didn't go out of their way to properly cook it. Second, the description of the mushroom topping includes the word "roasted", so if they arrive barely cooked, what exactly did I just overpay for? Third, it's clear that my mushroom pie was NOT made custom to my order, rather, they either took a pie that just came out of the oven for slices and threw some mushrooms on top before heating it up a bit, or they took a pie that was almost done and did the same thing. There is NO other way that a mushroom pie can come out of a pizza oven with barely cooked mushrooms. Was hoping to make this a go-to spot, but the fundamental trust was broken when they presented an obviously inferior product as a superior one. Two stars. read more

Hell yeah! This is what authenticity means. It's the normal pizza slices and toppings but done the way the chef prefers. It has a cool interior with varied seating. The flavor is great on the dough and sauce - really makes you ponder life on a slice with the burnt crust bubbles. Delish. It's definitely top 10 in Queens. (Visited only two days after opening). This is the new pizza restaurant from the owners of Parva, a beloved coffee shop and bakery in the neighborhood. Elements offers the standard range of NY slice pizza, well-executed and slightly elevated (sourdough crust, homemade mozzarella and ricotta). We had the margarita, a mushroom slice, a spinach and broccoli rabe slice, and a Sicilian slice. All excellent, especially the mushroom/spinach slices; they use a tasty garlic sauce on the white slices that averts the dryness sometimes characteristic of NY white pizza. They have a full range of draft beer on tap, as well as a handful of appetizers, none of which we tried. The space is nothing fancy, but it's clean and well-kept. There's a single handicapped accessible gender-neutral bathroom. They aren't doing delivery while they work out the post-opening kinks, but this will become our go-to delivery and take-out pizza in the neighborhood. read more
