Pizza Sam is the only pizzeria in the area so it's always busy. The pizza is mediocre unfortunately. I recently got a lasagna slice and they used hamburger meat instead of regular ground beef. The pizza usually taste slightly better if you add garlic, chili flakes and basil. But honestly a good pizza slice should be able to stand by itself without no extra spices. They have C health grade but the sign is hidden at the bottom of their window so their poor food quality makes sense. read more

Terrible service, ordered a delivery and they forgot to add something to the order. Called back, after being on hold forever, they say that they didn't add to the order they made a mistake. The register area itself is a bit cramped, and I can imagine it being a little annoying when it's busy. The shop plays pop music and is well lit. There wasn't much on display. Initially, I wanted a plain slice but didn't see any, so I went with the Chicken Sicilian. I didn't notice that the slice had onions in it. Normally, I'm opposed to onions but when I bit into it, I didn't mind. The onions itself were diced in small chunks and cooked really well. The slice, itself, was also loaded with a lot of chicken which is a huge plus. The top layer had a lot of cheese and the bottom was crunchy. This place is our family's favorite place to order from since we have been in Jackson Heights. The food is incredible, delivery is consistently within the window they say and the their website it easy to order from. In the four years we have been ordering, we have only had one issue when an order didn't get processed through the ordering system and they immediately gave us the order for free without us even asking. I am writing this review tonight because when we ordered they called us to let us know they didn't have the soda we wanted and we just said no problem and they removed it from the bill. When the delivery driver showed up he had the soda in hand because they went out of their way to pick it up from another store without even being asked. Small customer service things like that always mean a lot to us and we just wanted to express how much we appreciated it. 4.5 out of 5. Called in for pricing because I noticed their menus on my building and were abut high. So I was debating between a medium and a large. I normally order from dominos which I seldom like due to greasy ness , but for the price who can complain. Difference between mes and large was about 4 bucks, large coming into 26$ for a Hawaiian with mushroom. I could've gotten 3 from dominos but this place seemed pretty home style and authentic. Now I'm from the Bronx and finding a "slice" similar to the old days is so hard to find. Yes you'll find $1 slice joints in the city but you get what you pay for. Ordered a Medium but cook made a large (must've gotten confused with my pricing question) but was nice enough to charge us for a medium this one time for the error. It did take about 35-40 min but it was worth it. Pizza came nice and hot, good amount of ham and pineapple. Cheese was light seemed like traditional mozzarella not shredded cheese. Not oily and enough tomato sauce ( although I like mine more tomato saucy I'll ask for extra next time). Flavor was delicious. I added some chili flakes and boy the large is big, the pie alone seemed to fit my two top ikea dinner table. 8 leg slices total and took two for lunch next day. Def recommend, give it a shot.
