Cabin air filter needed replacing ($55.76) 2. Fuel induction ($139.99). I chose to wait on Induction service. After aprox. 20min. I forgot to ask about replacing my windshield wipers (all three for a Kia, Soul) cost was $76.85. Total bill totaled $248.76 with 3% fee for credit cards. Service was good how ever value was questionable. Found wipers (3) from "Big Box" $19.99, I should have made better decision.

Any shop that offers a 10% discount in exchange for a positive review should, in my opinion, be approached with caution. My experience with this shop was far from positive. A truck that had 250,000 miles on it and was showing signs that should have raised some serious questions about a failing head gasket. Instead, I was led through a series of costly repairs that basically treated the symptoms instead of finding the actual problem. Those repairs ultimately failed within a few weeks. They also installed what I believe were cheap aftermarket parts, including the wrong front struts. When I brought it to their attention, instead of taking responsibility and replacing them, they wanted to charge me to install a lift on the rear of the truck to compensate for the front end sitting higher than the rear. WTF? Another big concern was the price and quality of the parts. When I asked about the brand of the parts they were installing, which seemed they were hesitant to reveal, I was surprised to find what appeared to be nearly a 100% markup compared with retail prices. Their invoices also don't identify the brand or manufacturer of the parts, so you really don't know what you're paying for. In my experience, the parts were marked up an unreasonable amount, especially considering the quality. Looking back, I feel like the focus was more on getting me to authorize additional repairs rather than properly figuring out what was actually wrong with the truck, knowing Id probably just cut my losses if I had been told the truth about the head gasket from the beginning. I originally brought my truck here because I was trying to avoid dealership prices. Unfortunately, when I finally took it to the dealership, that's when I learned what was actually wrong with the truck, which was in fact the head gasket and the wrong struts installed. The dealership also asked me if I had ever used a quick sealant in my engine because of the sludge they found in the radiator overflow, the radiator that auto clinique just replaced. I don't have proof, but definitely raised even more concerns about the shop practices. I was so hopeful that I had found an honest shop, but sadly, I'd have to say they are far from it. And Ray, I'm not interested in you telling me how you offer a year warranty on your parts and repairs. Thank you

So, I went home and started researching places that would do a quality job for less than the dealership. That's when I remembered this family business. My boyfriend took his car here a year ago when he ran into some mechanical trouble, and they got him on the road again. So, I stopped by and asked if they could quote a price for the work. They took a solid look at my brakes and told me that the current ones still have some life left, and could wait until the next oil change at least. This was great news (my budget couldn't support this cost so I was going to have to put it on a weary and beleaguered credit card) but the best part of this was that this honesty instantly made me a loyal customer. I will go back to them for future oil changes, brake jobs and since my car is starting to age, everything else that's going to be needed. These folks are likable and kind, and their competence already proven. I will update this review after my car's next check-up. Update: I love these guys! Yesterday I was having a pretty terrible day, which included a dead battery. Since the battery was only two years old, I had a lot of reason to worry that the problem was the alternator. I managed to get it to Daniel and company, who thoroughly checked it out and assured me everything was fine and got the car and I back on the road lickety split. I am very grateful for that bright spot in yesterday's saga.

I tried showing him the paperwork from the dealer and was told to disregard the check engine light and if it is not working this time it's the engine. Needless to say I'm filing a complaint w/ bbb and will seek civil penalties.
