My sisters and I get together every year to do something after Christmas. This year, we went to see…read morea movie and went to dinner. We chose the Worthington Tavern for dinner. Parking was easy since there is a free lot out back and there is a decent amount of street parking nearby. We got there during the hour between lunch and dinner where they are flipping the restaurant for the next meal. The server asked us if we would still like to come in and get some drinks and hang out until food was ready. We decided it was worth the wait. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive. She even brought me a bag of ice for the milk I had to pump during the meal. We ordered some drinks and talked for a little while and she came back promptly at four to take our food orders. I ordered the seasonal salad, which had an incredible house made peppercorn vinaigrette, Delicata, squash, mixed greens, blueberries, walnuts, and a few other things. I also got a side of beer battered fries with Housemade ranch. Everything I got was five stars. I will honestly be dreaming about that salad and wish they sold the salad dressing by the bottle. I kind of regret not asking for something to go. My sisters enjoyed spinach artichoke dip, a burger, a pizza, the salmon dish, the hot honey brussels sprouts, the nonalcoholic wine, a strawberry lemonade, and a cocktail. The prices were pretty good, especially given the quality of food. The restaurant got pretty busy throughout the night, so it seems as though it is a fan favorite in the area. However, it never got too loud and there seemed to be enough seating that people didn't have to wait. It was a decent size dining room and they had a covered patio out back. I would definitely return and would recommend this place to a friend.

The place was dim and loud with music and people talking. They had to talk a bit louder to hear each other over the music. The ambience was trendy with cute moody decor blending the masculine dark walls with a touch of fake plants in the bank. We sat towards the back. The tables were very close together but we were comfortable. I ordered a Mimosa and added the Ketel One Cucumber Mint. It was very refreshing. I had the 3/$12 oysters and the Seasonal salad add grilled chicken. It was all delicious and our waitress was great! She informed us that she was new but did such a great job. The only qualms I had was the loudness. It was hard to hear my friends talking. It was a great little brunch spot and we went on the perfect beautiful day.

We love to have drinks and dinner at the bar ever since we met Patrick, Kyle, and Lindsay. We love the atmosphere and the food is the best part. The magic of seeing the cocktails being prepared is part of the fun. Never a dull moment. Today we had the privilege of meeting a handsome server named Asher, and he was cheeky and fun and had a dynamite personality. Kudos to all the amazing young men at the Pearl. It is a true gem and one we always love to frequent. Thanks for the memories, each and every time! Jenn Utley and Ron Shumaker

My family and I dined at The Pearl Dublin on December 23rd to celebrate my cousin's birthday while…read moreshe was visiting from Montreal. While there were a few minor service issues, our server was kind and attentive and acknowledged the celebration with complimentary desserts, which we truly appreciated. After dinner, my cousin and I went to wash our hands and use the restroom. At the time, all stalls were occupied and one was out of service, so we waited. When a stall opened, my cousin kindly let me go first. I finished and stood outside the stalls waiting for her for about three minutes. During that time, I noticed several people going in and out of the restroom area. I also saw a man sitting in a chair along the hallway wall near the stalls, hunched over. Shortly after, a woman exited the restroom and grabbed him to leave. I thought nothing of it and minded my own business. I also observed the executive chef enter one of the restroom stalls. When my cousin exited, she mentioned that the stall smelled strongly of smoke and that three girls had exited the stall before she entered. She said the stall smelled like marijuana but used it only because it was the only option available. She also pointed out that the man sitting outside appeared to be associated with the group who had been in the stall. We then returned to our patio table where our family was seated. Our server brought out her birthday pie along with another complimentary dessert. She blew out the candle, we shared dessert, and we began preparing to leave. A few minutes later, while we were still seated on the patio, the general manager, Nick Krafft, approached our table accompanied by Executive Chef Michael Wagner. We initially assumed he was checking in on our experience. Instead, he immediately stated, "I'm going to have to ask you not to smoke in our restaurant and bathroom," directing the accusation at my cousin and me. We were completely taken aback by both the accusation and the manner in which it was delivered. We calmly explained that it was not us and described exactly what we had observed in the restroom. We stated that neither of us smoke and never have. We even offered to have our belongings checked and explained that we had not taken any jackets or purses with us to the restroom, as our family remained at the table. Despite this, the general manager refused to listen or consider our explanation and continued to place blame on us. He did not speak to our server, who had interacted with us just moments earlier while bringing out the birthday dessert, nor did he attempt to investigate further or de-escalate the situation. As we were leaving, my fiancé asked the general manager if he actually smelled smoke on either of us. He responded "yes," which was not true, and continued to push a conclusion he had already formed. No apology was offered. We spent over $1,000 celebrating a family birthday at a restaurant we had trusted and enjoyed in the past. Instead, the evening ended with my cousin's birthday being overshadowed by an unfounded accusation. There were many guests dining that evening, yet blame was placed solely on two women who had simply used the restroom. I am a Nurse Practitioner, and my cousin is a special education teacher for autistic children. Neither of us have ever smoked. Being accused in this manner was humiliating, hurtful, and completely unnecessary. I was later contacted by the regional manager, who was understanding. However, I believe this situation highlights the need for better investigation, accountability, and staff training to prevent similar experiences in the future. A personal apology from Nick, acknowledging his actions and taking accountability, would be an appropriate step forward after innocent guests were wrongly blamed and a birthday celebration was ruined.

Our server Kelcie, who was 5* by the way, helped us in navigating all the intricacies to the ingredients. Lots of nuance to the menu. Our choices: lamb appetizer, black cod, sirloin, and chocolate mousse; each were tasty, presented well, and excellent dishes. The potato cake on the steak was very different and well done. Our Old Fashion had a nice taste. The place is very small and reservations are a must. The GM Michael came by and chatted us up...to thank us for coming, and glad they were able to accommodate our food needs. Nice touch. Excellent bathrooms. Thanks for that. We were nervous at first because no one we talked to knew what Gene's was BUT we are SO SO SO glad we went! From the moment you step onto their property it was such an incredible experience. Who knew such a cute and quaint little restaurant could pack so much flavor and art into their food and such a personalized dining experience. While we had a reservation at 8:45, we decided to eat in at the bar after having the most incredible espresso martini of our lives and talking to John. My sister and I opted to share multiple courses - each of which was better than the last. It was an amazing experience and we were lucky enough to compliment and thank the executive chef in person. We left full and satisfied but not stuffed which is exactly what we were looking for! HIGHLY recommend Gene's if you're looking for an elevated dining experience and great service while in Dublin, Ohio!

We shared the street corn nachos and you'll have to try the freshest jalapeños on them, by far the best nachos ever! Every single person kept saying how great their meal was. Danielle, the manager even stopped by to make sure everyone was taken care of! After an amazing meal like that we had to try the desserts, the butter cake and banana were both great but definitely think if you only get one, the butter cake is where it's at. Menu has so many options to choose from, it caters to many types of palettes. My bevy, the Blackberry Cooler, was refreshing. My friend got the non alcoholic version and said it was too tart. Only disappointment of the night was they ran out of the brown butter cake. The banana caramel cake was still a good substitution. The last time we went was a prime example. For one thing, when you ask a patron whether their gluten-free option is an allergy or a preference, it can come off very rude the way it is ask. If someone wants something gluten-free, then it should just be made gluten-free. No questions asked as that is rather intrusive. The second thing is we were eating lunch and there were about eight other people in there. It was 2:05. We didn't realize what time it was. They could've simply said. "Hey we're closing in the dining room" and we would have left. Instead they started putting up chairs and mopping the floor. There was an elderly couple in there, and I am on crutches due to A knee surgery. We all had to leave over wet floors and they seemed to care less. Even locking the front door and asking us to walk down the wet hallway with no rugs to leave. It was merely 2:10pm. They were downright rude and could've cared less for the patrons safety.
