The location is absolutely beautiful and it's right on the boardwalk overlooking the beach. If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting outside and enjoying the view. We ordered the BBQ Chicken Cobb Salad and the Crunchy Chicken Sandwich. The salad was incredibly flavorful and fresh, but the real star of the meal was the sandwich. Our waiter, Justus, recommended getting it on brioche bread with grilled chicken instead of fried, and it was hands down one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I honestly can't stop thinking about it and will probably come back next time I'm in town just for that sandwich alone. A huge shoutout to Justus for making our experience exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, genuine, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to walk us through his favorites and the crowd-pleasers, even though the restaurant was busy. He checked on us throughout the meal, our food came out quickly, and he even gave us recommendations for places to visit around town. The manager also stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed, which was such a nice touch. Everyone here was welcoming and genuinely seemed to care about providing a great experience. The food was fantastic, the service was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable for the location, and the oceanfront atmosphere can't be beat. After lunch, we took a relaxing stroll along the beach, which made for the perfect end to our meal. Highly recommend this place, and if you see Justus, you're in great hands!

The location and ambiance are beautiful; however, we were disappointed from the beginning with a few things. First, we were sat at a dirty table, the host sat us down and then wiped the table after we were seated. We then waited for over 15 minutes before we were even greeted by a server. At this point, we were already disappointed with the service. The rest of the night was okay, the service was not awful but not spectacular either. While we were eating, another server came by and switched out our salt and pepper shakers which weren't even halfway empty. This was an unnecessary interruption to our dinner. The only highlight was definitely the food, especially the wings, which never disappoint. The cioppino, garlic noodles, and tater tots were all delicious as well. I've tried the clam chowder at the Anaheim location multiple times and this time it was a bit runnier than usual. The flavor was okay but the consistency was a little off. Other than that, our food was great. Drinks were also good!

Cold Spring Tavern is a small stop located off of the main road, tucked away in the rolling hills, and is hiding some really good tri-tip sandwiches. We got the tri-tip sandwich with a side of potato salad, onion rings, and the three chili sampler. The tri-tip sandwich is loaded with meat, and is really good with the horseradish and barbecue sauce. The onion rings were massive and incredibly crispy and delicious. The chili is a must order item as well! It's fun to have more unconventional proteins like wild game meat.  It's a nice area with lots of shaded outdoor seating. There are a few bugs, but nothing to do about that other than deal with it. With a cold beer it's not too bad. We got super lucky with parking so got to park right in their lot, but have heard that people park a ways down the road and have to walk a couple yards to get in, so try to go during non-peak lunch hours.

I did put some creamed horseradish on a couple of bites. My wife had the 3 chile samplers. Stage Coach, 3 game chile, and the chlle verde. All excellent. I upgraded my side to the 3 game chile. It cost a bit more, but worth it. Afterwards, check out the place and the surrounding forest area.

It seemed like they really enjoy what they do. We never needed to ask for water because they made sure our cups were always full. The place would make people think it's touristy because of the decor but it's just decorated very mardi gras themed. I liked it though, it was endearing. PLUS they did a sing along with all the customers. It seems like one of those last remaining places that a kid would go to and then remember it fondly in the future. And the food was really good! Except I ordered some kind of chicken dish with a garlic and wine "sauce" that I do not recommend. I forgot the name of it, but later when i asked what was in it the server said it was a "holindase Cajun sauce". Which would explain why I didn't like it.i hate holindase sauce lol but maybe other people will enjoy it. All in all 5 out of 5!

The ambience was lively, the service staff were warm, and the food was amazing. One of my favorite things they offered as starters were their assortment of mini muffins (banana nut, rosemary, cheese etc). They were so good! The staff was nice enough to give me some to take home at the end of our meal. As we were enjoying the muffins, there was point in the evening where the staff all came together and sang "Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. It felt special and was nice hearing everyone sing along. We eventually ordered a jambalaya pasta dish and fish with vegetables dish. Needless to say, the pasta was out of this world. It was creamy, savory, and perfectly balanced in flavor. I'd come back just for that pasta dish alone, and that says a lot as I am not a huge pasta lover. Since it was my birthday, they surprised me with an ice cream dessert with chocolate writing on the plate. I was most impressed with the quality of chocolate they used for the writing. It was not Hershey's syrup one would assume, they went an extra step and used high quality thick chocolate that they melted to write my birthday greeting in cursive. Thankfully my name is long so I could eat more chocolate lol. By the end of the meal, I left the Palace with a feeling of nostalgia and mild sadness because I had to leave. That's when I knew I experienced something special. I can't wait to go back!

My date, a steak professional and strict carnivore, rated it "good." I, on the other hand, thought it was super delicious! The booth seating was comfortable, too. Service was great overall--except that we were given someone else's tab. Fortunately, the total was about the same as what our steak dinner would have cost, so I didn't realize there was a mistake until I got home. That's when things got a little frustrating. I tried calling the restaurant several times to correct the error, but no one ever picked up. By late morning the next day, I finally got through, and a woman told me the manager would call me at noon to help sort things out. Unfortunately, noon came and went, and I never heard from him. I'm curious whether my message actually got through and whether the manager will eventually call me. Fortunately, I'm local, so I'll stop by the restaurant on my evening walk and take care of it in person. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner and would happily go back--but if you need to reach them, don't rely on the phone!

You order and pay at the counter first, then they seat you and bring everything out. I actually kind of liked being able to sit down and relax without immediately being handed another menu It's a really cute spot with nice outdoor seating, friendly staff, and dogs are welcome. My sister's dog enjoyed brunch from the comfort of his stroller My husband got his usual cold brew and I got a spring water. We shared the avocado toast with egg and bacon added, plus a side of potatoes. The avocado smash was good and the egg was cooked perfectly, but the bread was a little dense for me. Nuzz really enjoyed the bacon. The POTATOES though!! So good. Thinly sliced, thicker than a potato chip, perfectly salted and super crispy. The side portion was generous too. Our total was about $53 for the avocado toast with add-ons, potatoes, cold brew, water and tip. I'm glad we shared because that felt pretty steep for one breakfast! And for my IBS friends Two separate, private all-gender bathrooms with actual doors. No stalls. We love to see it. Overall, cute place, good food and a different brunch experience. Nothing was bad at all, but for the price, I probably wouldn't rush back.

Wish I got her name but she was the super sweet blonde with the two braids in her hair. This place seemed to be the hottest ticket in town. It stayed busy ALL night and for good reason-the friendly service and the delicious food. Started with 3 of their super fresh west coast oysters. Loved the pink peppercorn mignonette it came with. Loved the crunch and flavors and the sweet oysters. The wedge salad was probs the best I've had-pork belly lardons, smoked blue cheese, spicy pecans and an herby vinaigrette. 3 mini heads of lettuce was perfect. Cornbread is a must-try. Crisp exterior and hot, soft, corn mealy goodness inside, perfect touch of sweetness from the wildflower honey and a bit of heat. The Brussels sprouts had so much umami from the fish sauce and crunch from the crispy rice and sesame seeds. Another must-order. I know we're in Santa Barbara and should be eating seafood but their Jidori Fried Chicken with the house pickled veggies and the duck leg confit were outstanding. Seriously not one bad dish tonight. Def bookmark this spot and make resy's early (nothing between 5pm and 8:30pm on a busy Friday night), and a super central location with lots of wine bars and breweries nearby.

The lighting was vibrant while still blending beautifully with the overall aesthetic. The staff was also super attentive, constantly clearing plates and refilling my water without me even having to ask. I really loved the atmosphere here and would definitely come back! Brussels Sprouts: This was SO good! I'm usually not a fan of Brussels sprouts, but I couldn't stop eating these. The smoky flavor and richness made this one of my favorite dishes of the night. Definitely a standout! Tomato Sourdough Mozzarella Appetizer: This was decent. The tomato, sourdough, and mozzarella complemented each other nicely. My only complaint is that I wish the sourdough had been served on the side rather than mixed in with everything else. Buttermilk Jidori Chicken: Unfortunately, this was a miss for me. The chicken itself didn't have much flavor, and the breading kept falling off instead of sticking to the chicken properly. Definitely not my favorite dish of the night. Steak: Pretty decent! Nothing extraordinary, but it hit the spot. I believe it was a filet mignon served with a mustard sauce, though I could be mistaken. Creamy Pasta: This was my co-star of the night alongside the Brussels sprouts! The creamy sauce had so much flavor, and everything worked together beautifully. I just wish I had gotten the name of the dish because I would love to order it again. It was made with long pasta noodles, and I honestly could have eaten more! Overall, I loved the ambiance, attentive service, and a few standout dishes. The Brussels sprouts and creamy pasta alone made a great impression on me. I'd definitely come back to explore more of the menu!
