It was our first time here this evening, yes it was incredibly busy. We didn't have any reservations so we waited to sit at the bar for about 30 min and it was definitely worth the wait. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the prime rib sliders, fish and chips, and wagyu ragu. The service was great! Regardless of how busy it was, Trevor took care of us the entire time and he was super professional and friendly. I give him a lot of credit. The ambiance is one of a kind. I am definitely a sucker for a good theme and over the top emphasis on aesthetics every now and then, so I was super entertained at Wolf. The ambiance is magical wolf forest fairyland with fun spinning chandeliers. I think you have to go to Wolf thinking "upscale bar" rather than fine dining restaurant. The drinks are so fun and creative I had the boozy strawberry milkshake and the mezcal bitch in heat which was fiery and packed a real punch and kick full of flavor. Everything had an elevated presentation and was super different from anything I can normally find in Tahoe. The appetizers were delish- the pull apart bread is so fluffy and buttery to die for. The goat cheese balls are yummy (though a little dry I think having the hot honey on the side and dippable would fix it) and the prime rib sliders were fat, juicy, succulent came with 3 sliders felt like a hearty good bang for your buck! I don't think the entrees were anything special, the shrimp tacos were decent but they needed some cool sauce or zest otherwise they were just boring shrimp tacos. The risotto was undercooked, not as creamy or rich as I had anticipated! Overall, would come back just for the fun drinks and a few bites of appetizers but not for the main courses. This restaurant was worth the hype! The decor was very beautiful. The location was fun right in the casino. The staff was super nice, especially since we had a 13 person table, which can be challenging. The cocktails were so fun, I wish I got a picture of everyone's. I want to be very specific. I arrived at 6:10 PM on December 22, 2025, and was told the wait time was 1-2 hours. I was also told they could not even take a reservation because the restaurant becomes adults-only after 8 PM. This directly contradicted what I was told the day before. After dining at Hell's Kitchen next door, I stopped by to ask about a reservation and was encouraged to walk in, with staff saying the maximum wait would be 30-40 minutes. If the front desk staff cannot provide consistent and accurate information, it would be better not to give conflicting guidance at all. read more

we had a great dining experience here! we actually had a late lunch so we weren't super hungry but still wanted to grab a light dinner before restaurants closed so we stopped in about an hour before closing on a friday night and they sat us right away. ambiance was beautiful. i kept forgetting we were in tahoe because it felt more like a vegas restaurant. i loved looking around and just taking in the details of the decor. our server was attentive and i appreciated that we never felt judged for requesting to share an entree (the wagyu ragu). in fact, they were so kind as to automatically serve both our salad and our ragu as split plate servings which made it so much easier to share! we loved the garden green salad; the crispy garbanzo beans were a fantastic topper. between the caviar & chips, garden green salad, and wagyu ragu, we cleaned our plates and it was the perfect amount of food for us. my husband also got the pumped up kicks drink which is like their espresso martini and garnished with a little donut, chocolate, and caramelized sugar wafer. the drinks are a little pricey but they've got some style to them. only thing we missed was the signature wolf bread which we wanted to try but they were sold out for the night. we'll definitely have to come in earlier next time! read more

A very long overdue review but we did not forget about our time here. Scott was our server on 2/27 for my family it was a large group of us and he handled everything so gracefully helped us with our food choices and he was always checking in on us, I know handling a larger group can be overwhelming but he really handled us with grace and was very attentive. Our experience was amazing!! The Food was delicious, live music was fun my parents were dancing it was so fun to watch and our service was incredible. It was a perfect night. Walked in tonight with no reservations and just opting for bar seating. We came around 7:50pm and waited literally for 10minutes for the hostess to show back up to the host stand. There was another party waiting before us and another party who came after us and we were all just awkwardly waiting for someone to acknowledge us. After an agonizing 10 minutes, the hostess finally showed up. The place was about 3/4 full and we were promptly seated at the bar. The Interior was Indeed very nicely decorated, no holds barred. The inside was dim but also well lit with chandeliers, and wolf statues everywhere. It was actually very pretty inside. The bartender, too bad I forgot her name, was also very nice and welcoming. Service was good, quick and efficient from both the bartender and the busser. Now on to the food! My husband and I got 2 drinks and 2 appetizers since we really weren't all that hungry. He got some fancy beer (sorry, I am nowhere near a beer connoisseur) while I got the frose. The frose definitely lived up to its expectations. I was pretty much drinking a nice rosé flavored smoothie, I mean what else could I ask for. My husband also very much enjoyed his beer . For apps we got the goat cheese balls and the prime rib sliders. The goat cheese , sad to say, was honestly just okay. I was so excited to try them since everyone keeps raving about them, but it did not blow my mind in the slightest. The prime rib sliders with au jus came out lukewarm and felt like I was eating microwaved previously frozen sliders. The bread was a little tough and the meat had little hot spots where it was warmer. You could just tell it wasn't fresh. Highly disappointed by this. I'm glad we got to try wolf since I've been wanting to go since they opened, but sadly I don't think we'll be coming back, at least for the food. The drinks were good, but the food was very mediocre. We came here to celebrate our anniversary early. My friend recommended this place. I've only been to their cocktails & bar in LV and that was good too. Me and my husband are both foodie so we ordered quite a bit. We had Caviar & Chips (HEAVEN!). This is by far my favorite appetizer. Their caviar is one of the best! We also had the vanderpump bread, my husband ordered salmon and I ordered chilean see bass. As a fish eater, I would say it's cooked perfectly. Very moist and juicy fish. I also like how they have a little vegetables and greens that go well with it. It also came with a sauce so you don't need to order anything anymore. And of course we had to order a drink and we ended up getting the Vanderpump Mules! It was delicious! Not too sweet, alcohol is strong, and you get a lychee at the end if your drink to clear you palate. To add to that, of course we came here for the ambiance! All of the Vanderpump places are beautiful and cozy inside and that's what they are known for. I just wish they had more on their menu, or at least fresh oysters since we liked that as an appetizer with our drinks. But all in all, we loved it and we're going back for sure! read more

Now, I was supposed to have my service dog, Izzy, but she decided she needed a beauty rest after a long weekend. So, my poor partner took the brunt of my clumsiness, nervously keeping me upright without canine support. Bless him. On to the drinks! I ordered a coconut mojito that looked like it belonged on a magazine cover. It was heavy enough to be a workout, but boy, it tasted good! I'd recommend it as a dessert drink--just don't plan on doing much else afterward. The orange old-fashioned was where it's at, though. Smoked, chilled, and smooth, it was like sipping on a warm hug. I'm still dreaming about it. For appetizers, we dove into the famous goat cheese balls. They were pungent and a bit overwhelming, but I learned a valuable lesson: don't just eat the cheese--drench it in sauce and sprinkle some microgreens on there! It was a game-changer. The Wolf bread? The food and drinks were good but nothing spectacular, the goat cheese balls and the artichoke dip were my favorites. Overall for the prices, $25+ cocktails, I did expect a little more from the restaurant. The chandeliers had multiple lights out, things were not as proper and put together as you would expect. I called ahead to check if they were dog friendly and was told they were not, only to see multiple dogs in the restaurant. We drove instead of walking so we could leave our dog in the car but once we learned it was pet friendly we brought ours inside. Our waiter Charlie was incredible throughout the evening and super friendly and had good tips for the menu. This was a cool place to try but I wouldn't go back. Wolf is located on the casino floor of Harvey's, has a great ambiance, unique seating/tables, and provides a shelter away from the usual casino dining. I made dinner reservations for 7pm on a Sunday night about a week in advance. If you want to dine on a Friday or Saturday, you will have to make reservations far in advance! Drinks The lake effect 6/10 -Gin drink with a mixture of herbs, but all that came through was the cucumber which I felt took a lot away from the other mentioned ingredients Bitch in heat 6/10 -Mix of tequila and mezcal, Smokey with the mezcal, and spicy with peppers, but felt there were too many flavors at play. The drink couldn't make up its mind Appetizers Wolf bread 10/10 -delicious, fresh, and rosemary heavy. This bread has many delicious layers and a flakey, flavorful crust. It came with a salted butter and honey butter. Much bigger than expected and totally worth it!! Crab and corn hush puppies 9/10 -not a traditional hush puppy by any means, but they had great flavor. It was basically a fried crab ball with corn and sauce on the side. Absolutely would order again and highly recommend! Main courses Shrimp tacos 7/10 -shrimp had great flavor and was fried perfectly! Came with flour tortillas and I prefer corn because the flour took away from the shrimp flavor. Slaw with the peppers was good, but for eating purposes it would be better to have the shrimp on the bottom and slaw on the top. Overall taste was good and I would order again! I wasn't a fan of the food. The only thing that I thought was good was the caviar and chips. The chips are nothing special though, but the caviar was OK. The lobster tacos were so fishy. Ambiance & Atmosphere - 5/5 Wolf is a visual feast--lush, layered decor that borders on overwhelming until you settle in and start appreciating the thoughtful design. While the setting feels upscale, most patrons didn't dress the part, so don't expect the crowd to match the vibe. That said, if you dress up, the space is definitely photoworthy. Food - 4/5 Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly and tasted great, though the menu isn't particularly inventive. We had the signature Wolf bread and ahi tartare tostadas--both solid, with the bread living up to its name. For entrees, the Chilean sea bass and 6oz filet were flavorful but on the smaller side. The second highlight was the banana foster cake. Drinks - 2/5 Drinks were a letdown. Our celebratory Veuve was overpriced, and the wine list lacked variety. The pinot noir we ordered tasted more like a lifeless cabernet. Service - 2/5 Despite noting in our reservation that this was a special 40th birthday dinner, we were originally seated at a cramped garden chair table, even though better seating was clearly available, and had to ask for better seating. Then the server dismissively responded to a special birthday request with, "We can put a candle on the dessert"--and the dessert wasn't even complimentary. He also kept disappearing when we were ready to order. Worst of all, the check was handed openly to my partner, ruining the surprise, and again handed to him after payment when the server clearly knew I paid for the dinner. These lapses made the service feel inattentive and impersonal. Overall Rating: 3.25/5 Wolf is worth a visit for the ambiance and well-prepared food, but the poor service and overpriced drinks dimmed an otherwise special occasion. We popped in to share one, and it was hard to decide between the four options. We ended up picking the S'more dessert and it is AMAZING. Hands down one of the best desserts we have ever had. Incorporates a skillet type cookie that is mushy gooey on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The toasted marshmallows and ice cream added to perfection! Also had a Pumptini drink per the recommendation of our waiter. Requested something that was not sour and this was overwhelmingly sour. The dessert made up for the disappointing cocktail. read more

Made it back to Wolf and was happy to see it still flourishing. Their dining room is open from 5-10 sun-thurs, and 4-1030 on fri-Saturdays. When we stay at Caesars Republic this is one of the best restaurants between Harrah's and Caesars. We visited Wolf on three separate dinners this week and each time the food was flavourful and the staff was courteous. The portions at Wolf are friendliest here out of all the restaurants at Harrah's and Caesars. The service is always friendly, accommodating and helpful. The decor is beautiful. Everywhere you look there is something dazzling to see. From the rotating antler chandelier to wolf statues, there is always something new to see. The decor was carefully crafted from over a million dollar renovation which seems to have inspired more renovations throughout the casino. As of 6/10/25 the casino is till under heavy construction but Wolf is patiently waiting for your reservation. If you're near state line Wolf is a must, go check it out and try for yourself. read more

It's important to understand what Wolf is and what it is not. Wolf is an upscale bar/pub. It is NOT a restaurant and indeed not fine dining. The food could have been better. This evening, we started with the goat cheese balls and then had the prime rib sliders and the Smashburger. The goat cheese balls were good, and we enjoyed them. However, there was only a tiny amount of napa cabbage and pear slaw on the plate. The Smashburger was flavorful, but mine didn't have any pickles, and no one brought them after I pointed this out. The Prime Rib was OK but a little bland as most of the toppings were put on very sparingly. As far as service, it was OK. When we arrived and gave our name we were told they'd need to take a few minutes to find a table. This seemed odd since we were on time and had reservations made *several months* in advance. Once we were seated, it was in the bar area where the seats were really low and the tables were really high. My wife is 5' and it was going to make eating a little difficult so we requested a table which they were able to provide. My only beef with this was that it is COLD in most parts of this restaurant and it was already below freezing outside. You will want to dress warm if you're here in winter. Two frustrating points: Two separate employees let us know it was their first day or two there. That doesn't matter to me as long as people can do their job but it was clear there were struggles because it seems these people aren't trained properly. Dogs and barking. I have four dogs, and I know Lisa Vanderpump is a dog lover and has organizations for dogs. That said it was REALLY offputting to have *several* dogs in the restaurant and worse when they start to bark, yes, bark. I wish I was kidding but yes, these were barking dogs and I didn't see any service animal tags/labeling. Any service dog will NOT bark unless it's an emergency or something is wrong. As far as I know, this is against health regulations in California but I may be wrong. When it came time to go, I had a bunch of fries left and my wife had about 75% of her sliders to go. I explained we needed a box for her sliders which they brought, but nothing for the Au Jus. When we asked them for a container they brought a laughably small thimble of a container for it. I'm not sure this is intentional, but we noticed so many light fixtures in the restaurant were out of service. Didn't affect our meal but it made the ambiance seem cheap and that nobody truly manages this place. read more

Went to Wolf for the second time recently. We actually had a better experience the first time we came, which is why we decided to give it another shot, but this visit just didn't live up to it. We started with a mocktail and a martini, both were good and a nice way to kick things off. For appetizers we got the Wolf bread and the crab hush puppies. The bread was honestly one of the best parts of the meal. The hush puppies, though were not great. They had a weird aftertaste and we both felt like maybe the crab quality just wasn't there. We shared the Caesar salad next. It was really good overall, just a little heavy on the dressing for me. It came with a huge Parmesan crisp which was fun. The dressing itself was pretty mild, not super garlicky and no strong anchovy flavor, which I actually liked. There was a bit of a wait for our entrees. About 30 minutes after the salad, our server came over to apologize, and the food came maybe 10 minutes later. We weren't in a rush, so it wasn't a huge deal, and they did give us a free drink which we appreciated. We shared the filet and the risotto. The filet was great, cooked well, and the fries that came with it were really flavorful. The risotto, unfortunately, was a letdown. It was more like plain rice with vegetables on top it was not creamy at all and not what you expect from risotto. It also really needed salt and pepper, which weren't on the table, and by the time someone checked on us we just decided to take it home and fix it ourselves. Our main server was nice but not very attentive. The busser/server assistant was super sweet and honestly did most of the work. Overall, for the price point, the experience just didn't really match up this time. Even though our first visit was better, it wasn't enough to make us want to come back again. Wolf has always been an amazing experience for us. The food and atmosphere have always been great as has the service. We stopped in recently to celebrate my wife's birthday, and Veda didn't outstanding job in taking care of us. She was extremely friendly, walked us through Some great recommendations and made the experience when to remember. The food has never disappointed when it came to the entrées and appetizers, and the drinks are always good. The only issue we've had is the cinnamon roll dessert I hate to say was terrible. You can tell it was over baked as it came out hard, which made it tough to eat. Our server did offer to have it remade, but unfortunately, since we were flying out shortly after it didn't make sense for us to take it just to waste it. Our server Camellia provided excellent service and made some excellent recommendations. Best service we have received. This was our second time but this time we had a full meal instead of just drinks. All 5 of the adults in our party raved about their meal and cocktails. We had two types of pasta, Wagyu Pasta and the Prawns PASTA. All three of us loved the freshness And unique pasta. Two in our party had the salmon which almost melted in their mouths. Made reservations here for a Thursday night. To start Wolf is DOG FRIENDLY. You can bring your dog inside the dining room, to the bar, on the patio. I love and appreciate this about this establishment. It's rare you can find a 'nicer' restaurant experience that allows your furry baby to be there with you. I definitely recommend making a reservation here. I don't know if they take walk ins. They have an expansive cocktail menu, wine menu, and good beer options. We ordered to wolf bread (good) and goat cheese balls (good). We had the vanderpump Chardonnay (not good) a beer (good) and a cocktail (good). For entrees we did the double smash burger (good) and the waygu ragu (good but a little oily). Our server was very friendly, a little corny with some of his commentary but he was definitely being super friendly. Overall our bill was $150 which I felt was reasonable for the food, portion sizes, and ambiance. Be aware the music is loud, almost club like, but you can still hear your partner. read more

I had been wanting to go here since it opened one year ago. I had always heard that the cheese balls were out of this world amazing and they absolutely were! We had an early reservation but the place was hopping since it was a Saturday. My daughter was in town to celebrate her upcoming 40th birthday. I definitely recommend you make a reservation since the line for the non-reservations was very long at the front door, we breezed right in to our table. My daughter and I love to share our orders so we can try everything. We decided the cheese balls to start us all off, the we split the filet with a red wine reduction which was world class. It included potatoes and bacon wrapped asparagus. Joe ordered the pork with peaches, it was a very generous portion too. Kiley and I split the "Lisa" special Cobb salad with lobster and it also was incredible! We all had scallop potatoes with our dishes and they were excellent as everything else was. We ordered a couple of cocktails; mine was the Vanderpump Frose made with rose wine and Kiley got a mocktail with kiwi that was also fantastic! One of the most important things for a great dining experience is the wait person and ours Veda the Irish lass was perfect in every way, the timing, the attention to detail and even the surprising birthday dessert for Kiley. I can't wait to go back again this summer and try the burger! I saw it at another table and was dying... The only downside is the drive it took us 1 hour. And also know the valet is $35. The entire bill was $230. They did not charge split fees or add on a gratuity. Loved that. read more

Had a bit of a wait but then again I had a party of 9 so expect all your food to come out at the same time which might be a while for larger parties. The food was super good tho, my favorites were the fish and chip and the spinach artichoke dip. Would recommend read more

I've been waiting for this to open for a while. I'm so happy to finally experience it :) It's really beautiful. I love the decor. Super classy. I went around 5pm on a Tuesday and I had no problem sitting at the bar. I ordered a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne and the Goat Cheese Balls with Honey. Both were excellent and were the perfect pairing. I skipped the Napa Cabbage & Pear Slaw accompaniment, as the flavors didn't go well with either the cheese balls or champagne. Note that for the cheese balls, the honey is a major contributor to the overall experience. Without the honey, the cheese balls are a bit dry, plus the flavor of the honey, paired with the goat cheese, is what makes this dish work. As far as my experience sitting at the bar, although I loved the atmosphere, I'm thinking the bar tender's new to this type of work. He just didn't seem to be suited to his role here. You expect someone in his role to be friendly and inviting, especially when it's not busy (I was one of three people in his area). Honestly, I think if he'd been even close to the level of service that I'm used to, when dining at the bar, I would have rated my experience here 5-star. read more
