Place has been open a couple of weeks, I can be a chinese fast food junkie, so I've eaten here a couple of times. Took forever to remodel this place when they were working on it, I drive by it several times a week for work reasons. Inside is nice, not your usual mom and pop place. My impression is, it seems like they might be going for a franchise idea with this place. Take out plastic trays are very Pei Wei'ish. Big, lighted, colorful menu's behind the counter. Couple of times I've been there gotten orders to go. Very fast and efficient, no problems. Menu seems fairly basic, prices based on what kind of meat you want the dish made with. They also have a specialties menu. Several different soups and appetizers. Have gotten the General Tso's and Mandarin Beef. Both were a little thick on the sauce, but most places seem to be going that way in recent years. Still, both were above par on other fast food chinese places I've gone recently, and the Gen Tso's is actually good enough to try again. Right now there isn't another place I can say that about that I go to. Mandarin beef was good as well, not to sweet, another plus. Prices are good, I think I paid about $7 for the Mandarin Beef, Gen Tso was a little more. Both come with rice choice, and the chicken eggrolls are good. There is a little "fusion" going on with the menu choices, and I plan to try different things on return visits. I also noticed they offer a Thai Pad choice as well. Prices are good, I liked the food. Can't say a lot more. It's nicer than most of your fast food chinese places, and service was good. My only question, like a lot of new places like this, is if they can continue the way they are now. Cheap place to satisfy your greasy Chinese food craving! The inside of the restaurant was also shocking- it looked more like a fancy restaurant than a fast food restaurant! I recommend getting the Hunan Chicken, but with garlic sauce. (I didn't like the vegetables that came with the Garlic sauce chicken). I do not recommend getting their lo mein. Finally a Chinese Restaurant With Different Recipes! I've been living in the DFW area for 8 years and for 8 years I've been complaining about all of the crappy Chinese restaurants and buffets. They all taste like they use the same recipes. Not so with Wok Express! Finally, and Chinese restaurant (excuse me Asian Cuisine) that's worthy of 5 Stars. My wife and I have eaten at Wok Express 3 times and each time was superb! My wife loves their Egg Drop Soup. She orders a chicken and vegetable plate with cabbage and brown sauce. She loves it! This is definitely the best Chinese food place in Euless. I always leave satisfied, and everything is always delicious. So far I have eaten the general pso's chicken, orange chicken, and beef lo mein. I've also had their dumplings and egg rolls. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The food is delicious. The general pso's is soo good that I dream about binge eating it. They can also make it extra spicy for you, if you like spicy stuff, and I suggest that because it isn't actually very spicy at all even though they list it as so. The inside is nice and clean. They are fast and friendly and the food is affordable. They always have a daily special which is an excellent value. You also get a generous amount of food. I also like the to go containers they put their food in. This place is just amazing. I would eat here every meal if I was a teenager and didn't have to watch what I eat anymore. Every time I've been there has only been maybe one or two people eating inside. More people should go here, because I don't want them to ever go out of business! read more

Our favorite Chinese place! It's cheap, fast, and tasty. The staff is friendly and remembers my husband and I every time we go there. After reading the other reviews.... someone was complaining about the amount of broccoli and the 2 dumplings on the daily special plate ($5.99). This person is obviously disgruntled about life in general. I've NEVER been able to eat even half of the food they put on my plate and besides that, it's $5.99 for dinner... what the hell do you want?!? As for the $2 soda, if you don't want to pay for it, then order water. Every chicken dish they have has always been very tender and the flavors are fantastic. My hubby and I love this place! Our meals together are usually around $25. You do get big portions, there's always enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I get chicken fried rice (good amount of shredded carrots and peas) and crab rangoon. He's tried everything and his favorite is General Taos Chicken with lo mein and an egg roll. I recommend trying it. We've been there many times (usually the drive thru) and never had any problems. read more

Well, Like many, I have eaten here since they opened. The food is great, and the portions for the cost was great, UNTIL TODAY! I still like them and will probably still eat there but the portion size definitely and noticeably went down today! I get the sesame chicken with fried rice, he gets chicken pad thai, and we share fried dumplings! The portions are huge, so I always have half of the sesame chicken leftover. I've been going through the different takeout/delivery places near by trying to find that one that can compete with Ming Wok in South Fort Worth. These guys left a leaflet in my door so I decided to try it out. I love Pad Thai, it's one of my favorite foods but I haven't found a place that does a good job of making it. The list of ingredients for it on the leaflet are "Thin rice noodle, spicy thai sweet & sour sauce, egg, bean sprouts, scallions, crushed peanuts." A great little place off the highway. I am a sucker for mom and pop places with good food for good value, and you cannot beat their 4.99 lunch specials. Every few weeks they change the special, and it comes with an eggroll. And it's a ton of food! I have also had the egg drop soup, which many places do wrong or do terrible, their's is great. Pretty good Chinese in Euless with the dishes being fresh and cooked to order. I like the little twists they put on traditional American Chinese dishes. For instance, the General Tso's Chicken here not only comes with dried chiles, but they thinly slice red chiles and scatter them over the top. It provides a whole different level of flavor and heat to the dish that compliments the sauce perfectly. The lo mein is tasty, but a little greasy. They do put a decent amount of meat in it. Fried rice is good. Eggrolls are ok and standard. I didn't care for the wonton soup, as my wontons were mushy, like they had been soaking in the soup for quite a long time. It was the only thing I've had here that I haven't found to be fresh. I can't comment on any of the other dishes, as I am pretty stuck in my ways when it comes to Chinese food and always order the same things! The service here is always friendly and helpful and we love that they have a drivethru. It's our goto place here when we get the craving. read more

Everone makes mistakes ... I understand. But these guys do not know how to do delivery. They made my order wrong last time, with no offer to correct it or discount it. Tonight I called at 8, and was told it would be one hour for delivery. It ended up taking 1 hour, 45 minutes after 3 calls, and being told the order would be free. The store manager finally delivered to me. He then proceeded to argue with me about the order being free. He said "discount" I said no, take it back. He then thought better of it and knocked on my door and gave me the order. As a business, when you screw up, you make it right. All I got was an argument. He even told me he had to waste his gas to drive here. The employees have a "listening problem" and love to argue instead of serving the customer's needs. I have been a customer many times, and the food is good, but these experiences make me want to never return. read more

When our food arrived, mine was hot & delicious, on a REAL plate (no paper or styrofoam here!)! My daughter's was cold. She informed our "waitress" (they bring the food to your table, not really a wait staff). She took the food back & it wasn't just zapped in the microwave (like we expected). I was quite impressed and more than a little pleased at the fact this lived up to its reviews. We were nervous that there were no cars in the parking lot and only one person in drive through, but we were welcomed with smiles to a very clean and organized restaurant. The bathrooms were clean and tables were clean it was not dingy or dungeony it was bright and airy. We ordered sesame chicken, general tso chicken, orange peel chicken and Mongolian beef. They come with fried, white or brown rice. All the above were great. Not very spicy at all which we missed so that was a negative. Not overly sweet and healthy portion sizes. The problem for me was the fried rice wasn't really fried rice (no veggies or egg or flavor), the sesame chicken had no sesame ( literally no sesame seeds), and there were no veggies at all. I guess if you want veggies you should go to sprouts not out for $7 Chinese but I would have liked more than one piece of broccoli. Get the Mongolian beef it's awesome! I would definitely eat here again, likely through delivery which it does have despite the note on the profile! read more

Wow, a decent Chinese food place in Euless? This restaurant isn't extremely cheap, but at the same time that's refreshing. It's affordable quality, and most dishes look like they really came from a hot wok. Almost every entree has peppers and scallions, common staples of real Chinese food. It also has a drive thru, which makes ordering take out extremely convenient. The service has been consistently good, and the food has always come out as expected. The portions aren't huge, but that's certainly not a deal breaker. The bottom line is that this establishment is a great alternative to chains like Panda Express and a delightful break away from Chinese restaurants that try to push delivery. read more

I've eaten here since they opened. Everything is fresh and taste great and is always consistent. Food is made fresh, no heat lamps. Definitely one of the cleaner Asian food places around. Yay! I'm a fan! Ordered the Cashew Nut with Chicken (my 'test' for any Chinese food joint) in the drive-thru and was so pleased it was good n' tasty! No scary pieces of chicken, ample veggies, covered with lots of cashew nuts! Yippee! Waited in the drive-thru about 4-6 minutes. Food was fresh and served in a very nice plastic container, accompanied with two soy packets, fortune cookie and fork. I will be back to try more entrees. I love going to this Chinese restaurant. It is always clean, fast and the food is fresh and delicious! I usually get the shrimp fried rice and it always has tons of PLUMP fresh shrimp in it, never once have I had to search for the shrimp! The only thing is the noise level in the place, I think the air conditioner blows out extremely hard so it is hard to have a conversation, but aside from that the place is one of my favorites. read more

I go through the drive through here alot, and the only downside to this resteraunt is that the person working the drive through often speaks very limited English, making getting your order across correctly kind of a challenge. But the food is worth it. My faves are the fried rice, sesame chicken and hubby likes the hunan beef. They also have a VERY yummy catfish meal that comes with two HUGE filets. Occasionally we do dine in and the inside if the resteraunt is very tastefully decorated and always amazingly clean. Prices are reasonable and food is delivered fast and fresh. read more

This place has a new cook and the food isn't the same. My dish was full of onions and grease with little meat. I'm going to have to pass on this place next time. Update 3/8/16: Whatever you do don't get anything with beef. They cook with so much oil and I thought they had improved until I saw that they poured the excess oil on the side where they place the rice in the takeout container and then placed the rice on top. You're better off going to Tom's off of Trinity Blvd. At least it tastes fresher, cooked right when you order and minus all the grease. Too bad I can't attach a picture here to show. read more

After reading all of great reviews on Yelp it had me really craving Chinese food for the past couple of weeks. Decided to give it a try tonight and unfortnately the food did not live up to the hype. Maybe I caught them on a bad day... I got the Orange Peel Chicken with fried rice and a side of crab rangoons. First, there were zero veggies in my fried rice and the photos led me to believe there should be some, so I will assume they gave me steamed rice. Which didn't bother me as the rice was very good (and the best part of the meal). The orange chicken was just ok. Nothing special. Kind of crispy, but mostly not, maybe it had been sitting for a while? The crab rangoons...omg...gross! They were VERY stale. There was no "crsip" to them. They were hard to chew. Upset that I spend $4 on them! The inside was nice and clean looking. And the price of my meal was very decent. I won't let this one trip prevent me from going back and trying something else. However, it will be hard to convince myself to go back here as opposed to Panda...Hopefully I get better results next time. read more

Yummy! So far I've had the orange chicken (made with slices of fresh orange!), teriyaki beef bowl, hunan beef, and the pad thai w/ chicken. All are good with the Orange chicken and the teriyaki beef being my faves (~$6-$8). The pad thai was average. The egg rolls are ordered separately - 1 egg roll for $1.29. They are the size of spring rolls and are pretty average. I think there is room for improvement here. Dumplings are good though the shoyu sauce (or whatever you call dumpling sauce) is salty and could be better. It basically tastes like regular soy sauce. I've asked for egg drop soup on three visits and each time was told that it's been sitting in the pot since morning, did I still want it? I appreciate their honesty on the lack of freshness but I still haven't tried it. I asked the counter guy why they don't just make smaller batches and offer fresh soup through the day and he said the manager wouldn't let them. Soooooo...no soup for me. (and this is the biggest reason why they get 4 instead of 5 stars) Very clean and bright inside. I agree with the other poster as it sort of has a chain or franchise feel but i don't think it is. Been there few times since my last review. Just went there again yesterday for lunch and decided that I now have to down grade them to 3 stars and to update my review. Over the year, I've been there few times when I'm in the neighborhood or when I have a craving for some quick Chinese food as I don't like chain type like that of Panda Inn. Yesterday, I was actually on my way to my typical lunch place of either Burger King or Taco Bell in Euless. As I'm driving by my normal hangout, I thought of Wok Exp instead. Noticed their lunch special is now $5.99. For Wed, it was their sesame chicken. From picture, it looks good, so why not. The price I noticed after ordering is actually their normal price, but the daily special gave you 2 friend dumplings. The food came quickly within 5 min of ordering. The Chinese lady that took my order was very friendly, sort of the mom type. She was speaking Chinse to the older guy, which I assumed to be her hubby? Anyway, I was about to chime in Chinese just for fun, but decided that I'm not in the mood of being chatty today as I just want my food and get back to work. Back to food. I added a good teaspoon size hot sauce and took a few bites. I now remember why it's been awhile since I last visited. It's the sauce...way too much, and way too sweet. And for whatever reason, their hot sauce seemed watered down or oiled down as it wasn't that spicy as I had to put on another teaspoon of it for my taste to overcome the sweetness of the sauce. The size or portion was smaller than what I recall. Typical sesame seed is not cooked with the dish, but casually sprinkled on once the food is on the plate. Usually, these dish should also have other veges, such as onions, peppers, broccoli....this one only has 2 small broccoli on the side that was steamed as it had no sauce or flavor. The 2 fried dumplings was OK, and it had 2 large scoop of rice. As much as I like supporting the independent business owner, I'm afraid this maybe my last visit. read more
