We were worried that it would take a while to get our orders out but the service was fast. We tried the Dan Dan Noodles and the Mongolian Beef. This place has a very casual atmosphere (they have booths). I do like the cleanliness of the establishment (although I did not visit the bathroom so I cannot vouch for those). You go to the counter to order and pay just like any other fast food restaurant. They called our order number and we made sure they could see our little tent number so they could bring our food to us and not some stranger. I ordered the Pad Thai... it's my go to dish and I greatly enjoyed the amount of peanuts in the dish. It tasted great, just the way Pad Thai should taste. I enjoyed that our orders were served on plates not just paper trays or some other type of surface. Other than that, everyone at the table enjoyed what they ordered, so based off of that I gave it 5 stars. Next time I will try to order something different to see if they have anything interesting on the menu that I have not tried before. They did seem to have a lot of choices, which makes me excited to come back and try other dishes. If you want a fortune cookie you have to go get it yourself but hey, at least you get one! read more

Lunch special says Sesame chicken -5.99 & dumpling. i also took a fountain drink and they charged me 2 dollars for it. it is not a big gulp size or anything like that. it is one of those frosty kinda glass where they serve glass of water in restaurants. the rice is not fully cooked. Chicken is good but less in quantity and like they said it comes with broccoli and dumpling , they gave me two small pieces of broccoli and two pieces of dumpling. I had the sesame chicken and son fried dumplings. While the taste was OK, the fried dumplings arrived warm in only just 2 mins. That leaves me to believe that they were cooked prior and perhaps reheated when I ordered. The chicken was over fried to the point of crispy. The sauce was pleasant, but overall lacked flavour. I have been to this restaurant a few times and usually the staff is friendly which compensates for order errors. Today - not the case! First let me point out that their online menu does not match the "order online" menu. I ordered Sesame Shrimp which was on the menu and the person that answered the phone did not seem to know what it was. I also ordered Sweet & Sour Chicken (chicken and rice only). I had to repeat steamed rice several times on both orders. My daughter picked up the order and we ended up with maybe 9 shrimp swimming in sauce - THATS IT...no broccoli or veggies - nada. The S/S chicken came with onions, pineapple and carrots. My daughter went back in hopes of getting the order corrected and was charged an additional $5 for broccoli. There was no apologies, nothing - let's charge you even though we did not make the order correctly (not to mention you have to wait in the drive thru both times b/c the dining room is closed). The shrimp were tough and my daughter said the chicken tasted like soap. Horrible experience overall. I will honestly say that I will not be back to this establishment. Too many other options. I hadn't craved Chinese food in a very long time, simply for the fact I hadn't lived anywhere with decent Chinese food for so long... PeiWei and PF Chang's are fine for a quick fix and if you're feeling safe and chain bistro-y, but a little pricey for what you get. I typically go with Thai holes in the wall when the craving sets in for a taste of the East and I have time to savor the meal. My dad was craving Chinese food on a recent visit (he doesn't do curry, so I couldn't convince him to just go for Bankok Orchid), so I started the hunt on Yelp and found great reviews and it's like 10 min from my house. Better ratings than anything else in the West Irving/ Euless vicinity, so hey- why not? Turns out it was really pretty darned good and now I go frequently enough to maintain a dukedom there (of course, there don't seem to be too many steady Yelpers in the Euless area, so that could be it too). What they have going for them: Relatively Cheap - portions twice the size of PeiWei and a few dollars less Flavor - All your standard basics (Gen Tso, Kung Pao, Broccoli, Cashew, Orange, etc.) Made fresh, so none of that sitting over steno rubberiness I've gotten at too many cheap Chinese places. The spicy dishes are great, as are the mild dishes. Lots of fresh veggies complement the dish. Steamed Dumplings - nothing fancy, only one filling, but I love dumplings, and PeiWei only has the fried kind. Insane Ventilation - you'd never know you were in a restaurant where they are constantly stir frying with garlic and onions, and you won't smell like the food when you leave. You might even think the door is locked when you attempt to enter because the vacuum is so strong-- just pull harder! As and indoor environmental quality nerd, this is quite impressive to me! Drive through - If I'm on my own and having a lazy night off, I frequently prefer a drive-through and Netflix for my solitary entertainment. I'm very selective about the drive-through fast food I choose to eat and can give you a list of those joints on one hand. This is one of them. Minuses - Egg rolls are very thin, with more of a spring roll wrapper and have a sweet flavor to them (I still eat them, but I prefer those fat, bubbly-crisp shelled, cabbage-filled ones) Hot Sour Soup has a metallic after taste, as if they're using a cheap canned broth as their base. The other flavors in it are good and strong though, so I usually get it anyway. Is it fancy? No. Is it clean and fresh? Yes!! Overall, a good deal for the burbs! read more

I have to "Amen" the rest of reviews on here about this place being a gem right in the heart of Euless. I am an avid diner of Asian cuisine and this is by far my favorite place to eat in the area. Food is always superior quality and always fresh. One of my favorite things about this establishment is the people that work there. They are so kind and happy to see me when I come through the drive-thru. Definitely would recommend to anyone in this area! Daily specials are also a plus and of great value. Place has been open a couple of weeks, I can be a chinese fast food junkie, so I've eaten here a couple of times. Took forever to remodel this place when they were working on it, I drive by it several times a week for work reasons. Inside is nice, not your usual mom and pop place. My impression is, it seems like they might be going for a franchise idea with this place. Take out plastic trays are very Pei Wei'ish. Big, lighted, colorful menu's behind the counter. Couple of times I've been there gotten orders to go. Very fast and efficient, no problems. Menu seems fairly basic, prices based on what kind of meat you want the dish made with. They also have a specialties menu. Several different soups and appetizers. Have gotten the General Tso's and Mandarin Beef. Both were a little thick on the sauce, but most places seem to be going that way in recent years. Still, both were above par on other fast food chinese places I've gone recently, and the Gen Tso's is actually good enough to try again. Right now there isn't another place I can say that about that I go to. Mandarin beef was good as well, not to sweet, another plus. Prices are good, I think I paid about $7 for the Mandarin Beef, Gen Tso was a little more. Both come with rice choice, and the chicken eggrolls are good. There is a little "fusion" going on with the menu choices, and I plan to try different things on return visits. I also noticed they offer a Thai Pad choice as well. Prices are good, I liked the food. Can't say a lot more. It's nicer than most of your fast food chinese places, and service was good. My only question, like a lot of new places like this, is if they can continue the way they are now. Cheap place to satisfy your greasy Chinese food craving! The inside of the restaurant was also shocking- it looked more like a fancy restaurant than a fast food restaurant! I recommend getting the Hunan Chicken, but with garlic sauce. (I didn't like the vegetables that came with the Garlic sauce chicken). I do not recommend getting their lo mein. Finally a Chinese Restaurant With Different Recipes! I've been living in the DFW area for 8 years and for 8 years I've been complaining about all of the crappy Chinese restaurants and buffets. They all taste like they use the same recipes. Not so with Wok Express! Finally, and Chinese restaurant (excuse me Asian Cuisine) that's worthy of 5 Stars. My wife and I have eaten at Wok Express 3 times and each time was superb! My wife loves their Egg Drop Soup. She orders a chicken and vegetable plate with cabbage and brown sauce. She loves it! I've tried the Orange Chicken and General TSO Chicken (without spice) and it was GREAT! The restaurant is always clean and the staff is always friendly. This is definitely the best Chinese food place in Euless. I always leave satisfied, and everything is always delicious. So far I have eaten the general pso's chicken, orange chicken, and beef lo mein. I've also had their dumplings and egg rolls. I have absolutely nothing to complain about. The food is delicious. The general pso's is soo good that I dream about binge eating it. They can also make it extra spicy for you, if you like spicy stuff, and I suggest that because it isn't actually very spicy at all even though they list it as so. The inside is nice and clean. They are fast and friendly and the food is affordable. They always have a daily special which is an excellent value. You also get a generous amount of food. I also like the to go containers they put their food in. This place is just amazing. I would eat here every meal if I was a teenager and didn't have to watch what I eat anymore. Every time I've been there has only been maybe one or two people eating inside. More people should go here, because I don't want them to ever go out of business! read more

Our favorite Chinese place! It's cheap, fast, and tasty. The staff is friendly and remembers my husband and I every time we go there. After reading the other reviews.... someone was complaining about the amount of broccoli and the 2 dumplings on the daily special plate ($5.99). This person is obviously disgruntled about life in general. I've NEVER been able to eat even half of the food they put on my plate and besides that, it's $5.99 for dinner... what the hell do you want?!? As for the $2 soda, if you don't want to pay for it, then order water. Every chicken dish they have has always been very tender and the flavors are fantastic. My hubby and I love this place! Our meals together are usually around $25. You do get big portions, there's always enough for dinner and lunch the next day. I get chicken fried rice (good amount of shredded carrots and peas) and crab rangoon. He's tried everything and his favorite is General Taos Chicken with lo mein and an egg roll.
