I have ordered takeout from here many times in the last few years and can't complain. High praise from other reviews are good indication of consistent quality meals they've been serving, hot and fresh everytime and its served timely. My favorite is the Chicken Katsu and for Lunch Special get Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu combo for $13.99 (pre tax). It comes with two scoops of rice and side salad. Chicken Teriyaki is tender and has a great smoke charred flavor, sauce is not overly sweet or salty. Rice is good quality and texture, cooked perfectly. The owner is friendly and the restaurant is kept clean. I read on other recent review that dine-in customers were served their meal in take-out containers and I can confirm that I saw a couple eating in at the restaurant today (while I was waiting for my takeout) and they were eating in takeout container as well. I know some places do this by default so I don't know if they've always done it this way, but I guess if I am eating in, I would prefer to eat my meal on a plate, something to note but not a reason for me to dock a star for it. The location is in a newer plaza complex in Lacey with plenty of parking and easy to get in and out roundabouts. Great pricing too. This place has GREAT Chinese take-out. They have duck sauce! Egg rolls are nice and crispy, and NOT Spring rolls. BBQ Pork fried rice is outrageous the Sesame Chicken and Chicken Teriyaki were juicy and flavorful, and not overly salty or greasy. Great Wonton soup and Egg drop soup. Tried it once, loved it, ordered two more times and it was just as good. Consistency is key. Very good food, and reasonable prices for the generous portions they give you. read more

Ordered through Uber Eats from this place because I really liked seeing that they had a chicken katsu and shrimp tempura combo plate which I could also upgrade the rice to fried rice. Overall, the portion was satisfying, just the right temperature and the food was presented nicely! My meal had come with a side salad; though small the dressing for it was so good! The shrimp tempura was soft and very flavorful that I didn't even need to use the dipping sauce it came with. Though I did end up using the sauce to pour over the fried rice. I was a little disappointed that the fried rice and the chicken katsu were bland, the only way I could save them was by using the sauces they came with. Ordered takeout and we made a great decision on this place. I got the teriyaki beef and it was great. Probably the best beef teriyaki I've got from Chinese takeout. I love the thinly cut tender beef. Plenty of teriyaki sauce too. The chow mein was also above average good, better than most places. We also ordered the General Tso and Orange chicken. Both were very good and better than most places. Great typical Asian fast food! Better than my experience with happy teriyaki.. all our food was super hot and fresh tasting- loved the lady working tonight- my son even gave her a big hug. Will be back. They have a few tables for eating at, but the overflow of supplies tells me most people just get to go. It's casual ambiance- nothing remotely fancy. Five stars for being hands down the best teriyaki and casual Chinese place I've tried in the area. Meat servings are massive but prepare to run out of rice - enough meat for 4 meals easily, and rice for only two- can make rice easily at home though, easy enough to use a microwave rice pouch in a pinch. The prices are a little cheaper if you call in rather than using the website but they have a very easy to use order site. The staff is friendly though not the best at English. I order from here often and haven't had a bad meal though I would definitely recommend the chicken over the beef- the beef and broccoli I got once was almost all broccoli. The spring rolls aren't my favorite but do alright in a pinch if you're craving them. Overall, a great addition to the neighborhood and I will definitely be back even though they can never get my name right. read more

This is the second time here. Mostly I just wanted soup. The first time I got egg drop soup. It was horrible! So today I thought, well let me try again. I got won ton soup, which was basically egg drop soup with (RAW) won tons. You could taste the dough. Also I've NEVER seen either of these with vegetables. The only reason my soup is this dark is because of the soy sauce, I needed to make it palatable. Extremely friendly service. I ordered a combo consisting of orange chicken and beef with brocolli. Pretty boring order, but staples of americanized Chinese food. The orange chicken was OK. Not very crispy, not very flavorful. Beef with brocolli was a bit odd. It contained green bell peppers, onion, and only small bits of brocolli. The veg and thin cuts of beef were swimming in a pool of extremely watery sauce. The flavor was OK, but this dish was nothing like what I would typically expect, not much oyster sauce coming through here. Beef veggie stir fry would be a more apt name for this dish. If they could reduce the sauce to a thicker consistency, it would be a bit better, this was almost a soup. Olympia is completely devoid of anything approaching even decent Chinese food. If you are desperate, this place might fit the bill. I will say, everything was served piping hot, and the portions were generous. Maybe the teriyaki is better here. read more

Been coming here a few years now and LOVE everything about this small business. The food is always fresh and oh so deelish. We happily make the almost 10 mile drive 1 way to grab some grub. We've had great service regardless if we're eating in or taking it to go. Typically to-go just means we're parking over in the open gravel spot and having a car dinner date. The portions are VERY large which makes me super happy because that means lunch the following day. The sweet & sour chicken is my all time fave. I frequent this location for teriyaki. I go out of my from Olympia to come here. Sadly, the last 4 times I've been disappointed. I kept coming back hoping it was just a fluke. The chicken for the fried dishes ARE HUGE. I have to cut the sweet and sour chicken with a knife the chunks are so big. It's not crispy either. I've tried eating in and it still wasn't crispy! Also, the chicken has a gamey taste to it. Maybe they stopped marinating the chicken before. Lastly, the reason I came to this location...the teriyaki chicken now has weird bony cartilage stuff. We are new to Lacey and decided to give this place a try. It is A LOT of food for a decent price. The dine-in is closed of course for safety measures. The reason I only gave four stars is because even though I was given a lot of meat, the meat was in miniature pieces instead of a nice size bite. And I'll admit that my order can sometimes be a pain in the butt because I've gone GF for years and always order my meat with no teriyaki sauce on it (I make my own GF sauce I use). Most places mess it up, and most places have meh meat and salad. They gave him way too much which was a bit problematic because we we're staying in a hotel and didn't really have a great way of preserving it.
