the receipt for the restaurant

Food 2-3 star Service 0 star Value 0 star Avoid this fusion confusion establishment. Food is not Chinese, it's not Japanese & it's not Korean. Management is greedy! Charges $3 for brown rice on a $6.49 lunch special plate. And the owner / cashier is rude to make up for your overall dining experience.

Beef broccoli and gyoza!

Living nearby has made me curious and I'm glad to find a restaurant that is close to home. This might be a problem considering that half the battle is not wanting to cook and have so many dishes or going too far to eat. This place will definitely eat my paychecks ohh lawdy.

Food is always fresh and delicious. I would recommend the general chicken, yakisoba, and beef & gyoza combo. Never disappoints!

Best teriyaki in this county. I always get the chicken breast. It's cooked perfectly and their teriyaki sauce recipe is on point.

Fujiyama Hibachi Grill was my first ever hibachi experience and it definitely did not disappoint!…read moreWe went for lunch around 12:30 and they had just opened at noon, so we were only the second table there. It took them a few minutes to get going, but once they did, the service was really friendly and fast. Sean and I don't eat seafood or mushrooms, and they were actually really accommodating about it. They cooked our vegetables separately in the back so they wouldn't get mixed with the mushrooms, and kept the shrimp on the other side of the grill from our chicken so we didn't have to deal with the seafood flavors. I really appreciated that! My daughter got the fried rice and watching the chef make everything was so much fun. Our chef was really nice, entertaining and clearly knew what he was doing. We did tell them we didn't like shrimp, so they didn't do the whole throwing-shrimp-in-your-mouth thing with anyone at our table. I'll admit, that was a little disappointing because we watched them do it for other tables and it looked hilarious! I kind of wish they would've asked if we wanted the other people at our table to participate anyway. There was also a birthday celebration while we were there, and the staff came out with a cute little song and dance and a treat. The birthday girl looked so happy! Overall, we had a blast. The food was amazing, everyone was friendly, and it was just a really fun experience. We'll definitely be back, and next time I want to bring friends and do dinner. First hibachi experience = SUCCESS!

I consider myself a bit of a sushi connoisseur (my husband just calls me "bougie" lol), so I figured we'd give this place a try since it was convenient and a sushi place for me to try. When we walked in, it was completely empty and there was a sign up at the entrance mentioning they were hiring servers. The restaurant seemed spacious but maybe it felt that way because all the tables were unoccupied. It took a few seconds before someone came out, but the girl who helped us ended up being the only saving grace of the entire experience. She was super sweet, told us we could sit anywhere, brought menus right away, and was on top of everything: drinks, appetizer, sushi, clearing plates. She was honestly the only person we interacted with the whole time. I did end up going to the register to pay after our meal, since she got busy once more people came in, but she handled everything she could really well. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the service. It was simply mediocre. The shrimp tempura tasted undercooked (I could still taste the batter smh). My husband got the Red Dragon roll and I got the Big Mike. He asked for no cucumber and they were accommodating. Regarding portion sizes, they're generous, and I can see how that might appeal to the general palate. I like that the rolls were cut nicely too, where the rolls were a little thinner than your standard piece, so they were easy to eat. The torched salmon and eel were probably the best parts of what I ordered. But overall, the quality felt pretty average. The rice was lacking flavor and kind of just tasted like plain filler. Our total came out to about $57 before tip, and honestly, it didn't feel worth it. Most rolls averaged $19, but they tasted more like something you'd expect at a cheaper spot. I've had similar sushi before that I'd consider more of a budget option (not amazing, but decent for the price). This sushi was passable but tasted more like $15 for a roll.. Just subpar for my standards. I think what made it more disappointing is that when I go out for sushi, I am expecting something better than what I could make at home (and yes, I have made sushi before with sashimi-grade fish, sushi rice, etc.). It is convenient to have someone cook for you, and good sushi is supposed to feel like an extraordinary experience. That's why I dine out at sushi restaurants but this just didn't hit the spot. Overall, amazing service, but the food was pretty underwhelming for the price.

The food is fine but nothing that made me think, "Yes, we're coming back." There were a few patrons there, but it must have been a restocking day or something because some of their supplies were spilling out of the kitchen into the dining areas, so it wasn't a great vibe. I did like how they were playing regional programming on the TVs so we had something to look at as we ate, but on the whole, it might be better on the weekends when people are filling the restaurant and bringing the energy up.

They hold against the teeth the way good noodles should. The broth comes through, then the pork, and then the marinated egg with its dark, quiet flavor. It is more authentic than the ramen you buy at the Asian grocer and take home to make yourself. There is something different about a bowl made by someone who knows what the bowl is supposed to be. The room was not what you might imagine when you think of ramen. It was somewhere between a teriyaki place and a sandwich shop. The building was full of businesses and the room belonged to the building. There was nothing wrong with that. A man does not need much from a room when he has a good bowl in front of him. The waitresses understand this. They come by often. They look at the table and see what is needed. Water. Another thing. Anything that is not quite right. They take care of it. That matters. It is a good bowl of ramen, and they take good care of you while you eat it.
