Ok Happy Teriyaki I see you. I got a combination of chicken teriyaki and hot and spicy chicken. While they were a bit too generous with the sauce for both entrees, damn they were good. The chicken was much thicker than the chicken teriyaki you'd get at Panda Express and while the teriyaki sauce tasted a bit different, I enjoyed it. The meat was moist and tender and so delicious. And the portions were big too. I ended up taking about half of each entree and 3/4 of my steamed veggies and put them in a separate bowl to eat and saved the rest for dinner the following night. While this place might be a little more expensive than Panda, I think the higher quality of the chicken absolutely makes it worth it! I got here around 5pm on a Monday and I ordered right away and they had the food out in about 10 minutes. If I eat here again I'd probably ask for the sauce on the side so I could choose how much to put on it but I was thoroughly impressed and I enjoyed my meal a lot. And I was really glad I could sub out the white rice for steamed veggies. Next time I've got a craving for chicken teriyaki I'd definitely choose this spot over Panda. I guess I'll have to try their orange chicken next time to see how it measures up. But great tasting food and hefty portions, 5/5! read more

We tried the deal for 3 sushi rolls for $33, which was a pretty good value and a fun way to try different rolls. They also have a huge menu with tons of options beyond just sushi. Dining in was okay, but I think I still prefer getting my food to go. Service was fine. Nothing amazing, nothing bad. Overall, good value, decent food, and I'd definitely go back for takeout again. We were here today at 6:20 PM for Mother's Day dinner. The restaurant was busy, which we expected, and we were seated right away. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. Two other families who arrived after us received their food, finished eating, and left before we even got our orders. We sat for over an hour with no food and no one checking on us. Our assigned waiter completely ignored our table. She was serving the other families but acted like we didn't exist. Another waiter eventually noticed and had to step in to help us. We didn't leave until almost 7:50 PM. The whole experience felt very rude and disorganized. On the positive side, the sushi and food we finally received was pretty good. That part was solid. I understand it was a busy holiday night, but the lack of communication and attention made this a very frustrating visit. We probably won't be back for a while. read more

This is our solid second teriyaki place in Lacey. Wok & Teriyaki being first. Their 3 for 33 sushi is a good deal - no its not as elevated as say trappers but again for a more budget friendly it definitely works. Plus can't beat the variety - bento boxes are great. The ramen is okay, no better or worse than Zen but definitely not as good as Cube. They only do hard boiled eggs? I've asked for gummy and they won't do it. Weird. The service was fantastic, they checked on us a couple times and made sure we got what we needed quickly. The food was delicious and crisp, and very flavorful. We got a bento box, and it was enough to take home leftovers after we were full. Most of the prices are from 14$ to 16$ to 20$, but the servings are big enough to make it worth it. And the California rolls, which are usually a bland dish, were flavorful and perfect. The restaurant was mostly empty when we came in, but that's ok. Happy I found Happy Teriyaki #4, their food is good, very reasonably priced and larger portions. I've tried a few meals over a period of time, I haven't dined in yet. My first go to is their chicken Yakisoba which was delicious, great ratio of veggies & chicken, and very flavorful! Their Mongolian beef was decent as well I didn't personally care for the sauce but it was also my first time trying something like this, my friend loved it. The chicken teriyaki is very good also, I love their teriyaki sauce. They teriyaki bowl on lunch special is unbeatable for just $10 and a good portion as well. I just tried their Ichiro roll which was also fresh & delicious, I'm excited to try more of their sushi. Every interaction on the phone and at pick up with the staff has been great, they're very kind! I need to make it a point to dine in soon. My favorite is usually pork teriyaki. I have learned to double-check my orders before I pickup and go. They try to meet all customers requests but they are fast friendly but very busy and rushing usually means errors and mistakes become normal business. Sorry but it is my experience. Decent portion size and the menu is a little confusing. It doesn't specify which teriyaki combo comes with or without a salad. Sad to say there was no steamed veggies/cabbage served with any combination or bento box. The service was a bit slow and there was no one there until after they got a few Togo orders. The Asian lady was super nice, but she had us wait on her for longer than it should have been. I ordered the tempura appetizer ( not worth it), beef teriyaki combo with Yakisoba and nigiri bento box. This had to be one of the freshest teriyaki meals I've had which would most likely be attributed to how busy it was at 6pm on Sunday. The chicken was juicy and perfecty charred. The fried rice could use a little more oomph, but nothing a little spy sauce and salad dressing won't solve. The salad dressing was creamy and a bit on the sweet side which I enjoy. Their menu was way too big and besides I did not feel comfortable order any sushi or roll item since I never been to this place. Went here today at about 2pm for a late lunch with my niece and my infant. We get there and the lady seated us. About 10 minutes later she comes back and asks if we'd like anything to drink. I said I think we're ready to order too but she got a concerned look on her face and looked around then says that it will be 15-20 minutes as everyone is out to lunch. OK, no biggie. I'll get a Bubble tea and a water. She said it'll be 15 minutes for the Bubble tea. OK lol fine. She comes back awhile later to take our orders. I order mine then my niece was literally mid sentence and the lady WALKED AWAY to talk to a lady that had been standing at the front for a couple minutes. I have NEVER in my 35 years experienced anything like this. I was ready to walk out. My niece really wanted their sushi though so we stayed. The service was terrible, the sushi was OK, they left my shell on my shrimp and I accidentally ate it. But it was decent aside from that. I liked the cute little strawberry garnish they did and my infant got to eat that part lol. Overall, I was appalled at how rude the lady was. Anybody who works with the public or that has common courtesy knows that you don't just walk away from someone while they're mid order. I'd been ordering here with my mum for years since we moved to Lacey... actually went in to pick up an order yesterday & had a "small" sake( basically honey water) that was $12!! Huge mistake! & they forgot my miso soup, so I went to get it today & they wouldn't give it to me without my receipt! Spent hundreds of dollars here & felt so disrespected!
