Ok Happy Teriyaki I see you. I got a combination of chicken teriyaki and hot and spicy chicken. While they were a bit too generous with the sauce for both entrees, damn they were good. The chicken was much thicker than the chicken teriyaki you'd get at Panda Express and while the teriyaki sauce tasted a bit different, I enjoyed it. The meat was moist and tender and so delicious. And the portions were big too. I ended up taking about half of each entree and 3/4 of my steamed veggies and put them in a separate bowl to eat and saved the rest for dinner the following night. While this place might be a little more expensive than Panda, I think the higher quality of the chicken absolutely makes it worth it! I got here around 5pm on a Monday and I ordered right away and they had the food out in about 10 minutes. If I eat here again I'd probably ask for the sauce on the side so I could choose how much to put on it but I was thoroughly impressed and I enjoyed my meal a lot. And I was really glad I could sub out the white rice for steamed veggies. Next time I've got a craving for chicken teriyaki I'd definitely choose this spot over Panda. I guess I'll have to try their orange chicken next time to see how it measures up. But great tasting food and hefty portions, 5/5! read more

The food was delicious. We had the teriyaki chicken breast and my GF ordered the three roll combo in addition. I enjoyed the spicy ninja roll the most, and I'm not a huge fan of sushi but that was undeniably good! Service was also great, very good balance of care and leaving us to our own devices. The price however was the shocker, as the quality of the food made me think it would be a considerable bill. It was NOT! This place has the best food in Lacey. They have a large menu which includes a great selection of sushi. I have tried several of their dishes and they always taste great. The service is excellent and it is fast. The ambiance is typical of a teriyaki restaurant. It gets busy during lunch and dinner. It also has a very busy take out service. So, it can be quite a busy environment for dinner. I will definitely be visiting them again. There are a lot of things on their menu. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience genuinely broke my heart. I finally decided to do something nice for myself. For the first time in I don't even know how long, I took myself out to dinner instead of ordering DoorDash from one of my favorite restaurants. I was excited. I was looking forward to sitting down, relaxing, and enjoying a meal. The hostess was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, kind, and attentive from the moment I walked in. Because the ramen menu doesn't list the ingredients, I specifically asked what was in it before ordering. I was told about the noodles, meat, egg, bamboo shoots, and green onions. Corn was never mentioned. When my ramen arrived, I stirred it and noticed corn throughout the bowl. I don't like corn, but I tried to make it work because I didn't want to be difficult. I tried it with the meat. I tried it with the egg. I tried just the broth. Everything tasted like corn, and I simply couldn't eat it. When the hostess came by, I explained what had happened. She looked genuinely upset for me and tried to help. She took it back, but came back to tell me the only option was to pick the corn out because they couldn't remake it. I explained that removing the corn wouldn't help because the broth itself tasted like corn. A manager came over and, after we looked at the menu together, acknowledged that corn wasn't listed. She refunded the ramen, which I appreciate but I really wanted the food, and that was the end of the conversation. By then I was sitting there trying not to cry. I know it may sound silly to some people, but this wasn't just about corn. I had finally done something for myself after a long time. I was so excited to enjoy a meal in one of my favorite restaurants, and instead I left feeling embarrassed, disappointed, and honestly heartbroken. I wasn't looking for free food. I wasn't trying to complain. I just hoped someone would say, "We're so sorry. Let's make you something you can actually enjoy." Instead, I paid for my salad, fighting back tears of embarrassment and sadness got in my car and drove home. The hostess showed genuine compassion, and I'll always remember how hard she tried to help. I only wish the same level of care had come from management. I truly hope the restaurant updates its menu to include all of the ingredients in its ramen and empowers its staff to remake a dish when a customer specifically asked about the ingredients before ordering. If I had an allergy, it would have been an extremely even more horrendous outcome. It would have turned a heartbreaking experience into one where I felt cared for. I wanted a comforting dinner. We were here today at 6:20 PM for Mother's Day dinner. The restaurant was busy, which we expected, and we were seated right away. Unfortunately, the service was extremely poor. Two other families who arrived after us received their food, finished eating, and left before we even got our orders. We sat for over an hour with no food and no one checking on us. Our assigned waiter completely ignored our table. She was serving the other families but acted like we didn't exist. Another waiter eventually noticed and had to step in to help us. We didn't leave until almost 7:50 PM. The whole experience felt very rude and disorganized. On the positive side, the sushi and food we finally received was pretty good. That part was solid. This is our solid second teriyaki place in Lacey. Wok & Teriyaki being first. Their 3 for 33 sushi is a good deal - no its not as elevated as say trappers but again for a more budget friendly it definitely works. Plus can't beat the variety - bento boxes are great. The ramen is okay, no better or worse than Zen but definitely not as good as Cube. They only do hard boiled eggs? I've asked for gummy and they won't do it. Weird. The service was fantastic, they checked on us a couple times and made sure we got what we needed quickly. The food was delicious and crisp, and very flavorful. We got a bento box, and it was enough to take home leftovers after we were full. Most of the prices are from 14$ to 16$ to 20$, but the servings are big enough to make it worth it. And the California rolls, which are usually a bland dish, were flavorful and perfect. The restaurant was mostly empty when we came in, but that's ok. Happy I found Happy Teriyaki #4, their food is good, very reasonably priced and larger portions. I've tried a few meals over a period of time, I haven't dined in yet. My first go to is their chicken Yakisoba which was delicious, great ratio of veggies & chicken, and very flavorful! Their Mongolian beef was decent as well I didn't personally care for the sauce but it was also my first time trying something like this, my friend loved it. The chicken teriyaki is very good also, I love their teriyaki sauce. They teriyaki bowl on lunch special is unbeatable for just $10 and a good portion as well. I just tried their Ichiro roll which was also fresh & delicious, I'm excited to try more of their sushi. Every interaction on the phone and at pick up with the staff has been great, they're very kind! I need to make it a point to dine in soon. This had to be one of the freshest teriyaki meals I've had which would most likely be attributed to how busy it was at 6pm on Sunday. The chicken was juicy and perfecty charred. The fried rice could use a little more oomph, but nothing a little spy sauce and salad dressing won't solve. The salad dressing was creamy and a bit on the sweet side which I enjoy.
