This was our first time being in Lacey, WA it was close to my brothers house and who can pass up Sushi:)). As we entered we were seated immediately as a party of 5 so that was nice:)) Our waitress was immediately took our drink orders and explained the menu and specials to us which was great. Lets fast forward to after we ordered our food. It took FOREVER for our food to come let alone by the time our food came our drinks had already been waiting to be refilled.. The food was good, but I gotta say once we ordered our service pretty much went down hill :(((

Currently on the look for great sushi... found this place close to home and the happy hour menu was pretty impressive with 3 rolls for $33! The vibe was very casual and relaxed, kind of felt like we were in a bar more than a sushi restaurant. The service was fast and friendly and we were seated immediately. Food came out quickly and was well played and appetizing. I will say, for the area, it's not bad but still lacking something. Considering we are so close to water I am expecting super fresh sushi options and this place offered lots of options but the flavor fell just a little short. Overall, not bad. Will likely try again in the near future.

Boy was this place cold inside! Luckily we had a blanket in the car for our little one. The faux wood metal chairs were absolutely uncomfortable and made our time there even colder. Service was slow and food was even slower. Sure it was Mother's Day weekend but waiting over 25 minutes for food is no fun especially with a 'hangry' little one. Seating was limited and crowded. It's the first time I've ever seen multiple families with their babies be seated at the counter bar area. They take reservations and walk-ins but I recommend making a reservation because our wait was 30 minutes. I might try this place again. Food was okay. We were not fans of the menu options for kids. We did not get the warm and fuzzies from this dining experience.

The service is great, nice guy and so friendly and attentive to his tables. The food, is kind of flavorless unfortunately. Not the worst sushi i've had but it could definitively use some more flavor. The restaurant has limited space so if you want to bring a big party, get there early or get on the waitlist.

I like this location a ton better than the one in Tukwila. Both have very weird, disinterested people serving food, but at least this one's food is better and they have an all you can eat bar on Sunday which I'll have to try next time. We got a quartet of rolls and we were full, but it's good not great. I prefer Lacey's Koibito to this place, but this place was okay. Lots of seating for the Sunday crowd and I actually had fun watching a couple of lawyers on a public affairs show on the tv at the bar giving out legal advice. It lead into a football game, but it was kinda refreshing to see local programming. For that, I'll come back, hoping to give them another star for that AYC bar.

Friendly staff here and the sushi is good and fresh. They also have the option for sushi buffet. Cool setting.

The restaurant is easy to find, located in a plaza with other businesses, so there's plenty of parking available. I also like that their hours are posted in military time; it's a small detail, but it removes any confusion about opening and closing times. The space itself is on the smaller side, but it feels comfortable and welcoming. We arrived around 17:00 on a Wednesday and were seated quickly. Service was friendly from start to finish--menus were brought promptly, and we were asked about drinks right away (water was perfect for us). Throughout the meal, the staff was attentive without being intrusive, refilling our water and clearing dishes at just the right times. We started with the agedashi tofu to share. The broth was flavorful and the tofu was prepared well, with that soft, gooey, gelatinous consistency. While it wasn't quite my personal preference (I tend to favor a crispier texture), it was still tasty and likely ideal for those who enjoy it that way. For our main dishes, my son ordered the tonkatsu corn ramen, and I had the black garlic ramen (without bean sprouts--personal preference). This was our first ramen spot since moving to Washington, and it genuinely reminded us of a favorite place we used to visit in Sacramento. The broth was rich, creamy, and deeply savory--absolutely delicious. I especially liked that the ramen was served with a ladle instead of a standard soup spoon, which made it easier to sip more of the broth. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not too firm, not too soft--and paired really well with the toppings. My son even commented on the generous portion of noodles, which I joked was exactly what we signed up for when ordering ramen! We both finished our bowls feeling completely satisfied. The chashu and egg were highlights for me--I took my time consuming them. My only small critique is that I wish the ramen included a full soft-boiled egg instead of just half, especially with bowls averaging around $17. Overall, this was a great dining experience with flavorful food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. While I have a couple of minor preferences, I would definitely return and recommend it to others looking for quality ramen in the area.

Delicious, healthy food and friendly service! I can't complain :)…read more I was in the area for errands and the name of the restaurant made me want to try out the food here. I went inside to place an order. Although initially vacant at first, the space was quickly occupied by following customers lining up after my arrival. One of the employees appeared to be taking out the trash while the other greeted me and helped me with my order when I arrived. There were various options for ordering, but I decided to go with the nori wrap. You can select a customized option or go with one of their premade choices, which lists all the ingredients inside. I was feeling seafood so I went with the Seahawk. The employee asked me if I wanted everything with it, and I asked to just sub one of the sauces with the Chipotle sauce. The portions are definitely huge and worth the pricing, because she had to double wrap my order just so it would all fit and wouldn't fall out. To pair with the nori wrap, I also ordered the original miso soup, which comes with the usual tofu and seaweed but is on the sweeter side compared to what I'm used to. I personally like it sweeter but if you don't, I probably wouldn't order it. I don't often crave healthy food, but it was fairly filling and I had a good experience, so I'll be back to try out MiSo again!

Given that this is Yelm, therefore not much of expectation but they do have most of the dish's elements. And this apply to all dishes. Unfortunately, I was looking at an outdated menu on Yelp, so the spicy tofu soup is no longer on the lunch specials, AND if you want a "lunch special," it needs to be specified when placing the order. I assumed that because it was lunch time, I would be paying the lunch pricing? That wasn't the case when I arrived. Parking seems to only be on the same side as the barber shop (which i think is connected to the restaurant as well?). When I walked in, I didn't really check out the place. Seems like a classic no-frills Korean restaurant. An ajumma (아줌마) appeared at the register after a couple seconds (lol that is the first description that came to mind). I informed her of my phone order and she brought out the food and rang me up for around $55? I was thinking, yikes, that's a steep price for a spicy tofu soup and a lunch special of the galbi and mentioned it to her. She told me that the portion made is not the lunch special and next time, make sure to specify that over the phone if I want the Lunch special or dinner portion. She clarified, while acting out the mannerisms, of customers that would complain about the Lunch special, because they would want a dinner portion instead, so she just places general orders as the dinner portion. (I can already imagine the Karens she must have received for her reaction, which is understandable, but at the time, I was just slightly irritated since I was hoping to pay a cheaper price.) I am assuming after this experience, there is a difference in portion size for the lunch and dinner pricing.. Besides the miscommunication, I can at least say that the food was prepared quickly since it was ready by the time I arrived at the restaurant (about 15 mins after I placed the order?). With the outcast weather, I was craving some soondubu, and Seoul Garden definitely delivered! The tofu portions were generous and the broth was the right amount of spicy where you can taste the flavor but it is not overwhelming. I was not expecting so many complementary sides either! They paired very well with the rice and galbi, which was thoroughly marinated in a delectable glaze. Even though I was initially frustrated that I received the dinner portion, I calmed down after eating the galbi. My son and I actually ended up devouring it.. the food was so good, I totally forgot about the pricing at the moment. Just keep in mind though, this place is not advertised as KBBQ, so you're paying for individual plates/dishes/orders that should already be cooked. I would only recommend this restaurant if there are certain staples you really enjoy (i.e. you're only craving bulgogi but don't want to go out to eat or grill it), because it is arguably just as expensive as KBBQ. But if you're a foodie that can afford it, I'd suggest stopping by to try it out yourself! :)
