I think this is the only conveyor belt sushi spot around this area. Definitely a fun experience. You can order items off their menu, including extra rolls that aren't up for grabs.

Five stars may seem like a lot, but I'm giving the score based on what Sushi Train is and not some ideal. This review is based on dining in around 1pm on a Friday. - The sushi is better than average. They try to keep each plate under a clear lid, which is a nice touch. - There is a good variety of plates on the belt. Other places I've been usually only offer pieces of rolls and you have to request nigiri separately. Sushi Train had nigiri pieces (salmon, tuna, eel, shrimp) and specialty rolls on the moving belt. This might have just been for the lunch period. - The staff was pleasant and checked on me regularly.

It's always fun to get food off of a conveyor belt so it was nice to find out Lacey has a place like this. The food we got was just fine, but they really need to diversify their choices. We saw the same items over and over again and after awhile we'd had our fill without getting too much variety. Maybe it's just because we got there in a weekday, so I hope it's different on weekends. I've been to better and even though I don't count that against this place, the limited choices was notable.

This is a good place to come when you're craving sushi. The conveyor belt is a fun idea and you can grab what you like as it goes by. Their offerings are mostly California Rolls, this isn't a fancy sushi place, but it tastes freshly made. We also tried the Spicy Salmon Roll and hubs ordered the Spider Roll. Most items had a clear plastic top, although some things didn't, and we left them alone. The place is clean and it's the first sushi lunch in a long time that came in under forty dollars. Sushi can get expensive, so this was a surprise. This restaurant is one to check out, when you want quick sushi.

I enjoyed my sushi rolls that were on the conveyor belt. I also ordered off the menu and it came pretty fast. I had to have eaten about 6 places but a specialty plate and still managed to spend less than $30. The customer service was great and I will most definitely be coming back!

First time at a sushi train, it did not disappoint! Delicious and affordable, with so much fun.

Drove 25 minutes there just for them to be closed for no reason. Hours are inaccurate, just a paper sign on the door.

Reviewing for just the ramen since I haven't tried anything else on their menu…read more My son and I were craving ramen a few weeks ago and we've been trying out different ramen places to compare. We're down the street from Zen and decided to give their ramen a try. Parking is easy to locate but can be a bit crowded since it's in the same lot as Dutch Bros and a couple other shops. When we first entered, we were greeted by an employee (and the Naruto statue at the front hehe). It was fairly empty when we arrived since it was on a Friday around 4ish in the afternoon. You have to pay first when you order. You'll be provided a number placard to place at a table of your choose when you dine in, and your food will be brought to you when it is ready. Drinks are also self-serve (for soda). We decided upon water cups but it's at the same station as the sodas. There is a menu at the cash register for quick ordering if you know what you want (when you walk in, it's on the left). The employee also directed us to a menu with pictures and descriptions of each item (when you walk in, it's on the right). The place definitely has Japanese vibes for the interior decor with its oaky/wooden furniture and warm lighting. Our ramen arrived shortly after we seated ourselves. We both ordered similar spicy ramen, which ended up tasting fairly good. My son really enjoyed his ramen since he liked the level of spiciness and taste of the broth (spicy enough to taste the flavors and feel the heat but not enough to hurt). He also liked that the ingredients were balanced (not an overabundance of just ramen noodles). I did enjoy my ramen as well and shared similar views. My only criticism would be that the ramen options seemed very simplistic and many ingredients were similar, so it didn't feel like much variety. My son and I actually ordered two different kinds of ramen, believe it or not, but from the photos, they look almost identical. There's also only the option of tonkatsu or shoyu broth, regular or spicy. The soft boiled egg was delicious but it would have been nice to receive a full egg instead of just half. They are generous with their chasu portions at least, with its big slices. Not as tender compared to other places I've been to, though, but still tastes good. We enjoyed our experience here though so I can at least say that it's worth trying out the ramen. Not so sure about the sushi burritos but maybe we will consider for next time.

Does it work? Sure. They have the most pleasant bathroom I've ever walked into with their subtle lighting. None of that florescent lighting, yay! What I really appreciate, as a mom, were all of the pirate toys for our little one to play with so we could eat. I don't think enough restaurants have figured out that little secret to welcoming families to your establishment. The poke though had a LOT going on, perhaps too much. I'm Native Hawaiian, who used to work in a fish market, and I love the taste of fish. I don't think it needs to be buried under a gagillion flavors. The sauces could definitely be toned down. The imitation crab and seaweed salad offered subtle flavors and the rice, garbanzo beans and edamame helped balance out some of the other stronger flavors but the toasted garlic and onions were too overpowering. While they do offer build-your-own bowl options, it seems the pricier options. May be easier to request things on the side. For the record, grated carrots do nothing for poke bowls other than add unnecessary texture. I'd avoid them completely.

You only eat and remember something, maybe, from a life that feels like it isn't yours anymore. There were five gyoza. Not four. Not six. Five. They were hot and filled with something meaty and good. The kind of food that makes you feel like things might still be okay in the world. The sweet and sour chicken had the crispness of fire and oil. Not drowned in sugar or vinegar - just enough of each to speak without shouting. A balance you don't find often, not in food or in life. The teriyaki salmon was dark at the edges, charred just so. It tasted of flame and patience. It was not dry. That mattered. The people there do not smile too much, and that is a mercy. They respect you enough to avoid the saccharine fakeness found in many other eating establishments. They do not ask how everything is when you are chewing. They do not crouch beside the table or call you "friend." They simply bring what you need, when you need it - water before it's empty, more napkins before you ask.
