The employees were kind and they provided great service. our California rolls were served to us within just a few minutes after sitting down and they were so fresh. Our food also arrived quickly within maybe 10 minutes. They were quick, had really good food and the service was great!

You have to try their Salmon Teriyaki ! The best one I've ever had. And I wasn't even that hungry. Im telling you, SUPER DELICIOUS! A taste of Japan here in Tumwater :)

The food is fresh and so delicious. Orange chicken has a stronger orange flavor than other places, and it was special because it was like a homemade sauce. And the owner was so kind. I'm going to come often because my kids like it too.

Had the salmon teriyaki. It comes with salad and white rice. I asked to sub more salad as I don't eat white rice very often. The owner was quite willing to make the change. He noticed I ate all the salad and asked if I wanted more, so he clearly wanted me to leave satisfied. Everything was fresh, the salmon was a nice portion--5 or 6 ounces I would guess. I would return.

Great take out dinner on busy nights! We love the generals chicken and kids eat orange chicken.

When I need chow mein, I go here. I'm not a fan of most of their other dishes, but their veggie dishes are yummy. I grew up in a small town where folks had STRONG feelings about their American Chinese food, which feels like a rapidly disappearing business model in this part of Washington for some reason. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE some good authentic Szechuan food or dim sum, but this place serves a very specific, important utility for me (hungover and/or spending the day on the couch watching movies)

I usually order the teriyaki chicken lunch without sauce (too much and too sweet), which leaves me with a nice sized portion of grilled chicken breast, as well as pork fried rice, thin soft noodle chow mein, and a cup of whatever the soup of the day happens to be - today, a thick creamy curry rice concoction that was simple but pleasantly tasty. Lunch prices seem a mite high - $17.99 - until they arrive, when you learn that they're huge and offer enough for a decent leftovers dinner as well. Service is always friendly and efficient and I usually find myself dining in a room full of people of my general mid-60s demographic. Is it gourmet? No. Is it tasty? You bet! Do I actually set aside enough to bring home to eat later? No, I just tend to keep eating until it's all gone and then just skip dinner.

The dining area was spotless, and it's obvious the owners take pride in keeping the restaurant clean. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended for me. After reading the Yelp reviews, I expected authentic, flavorful Vietnamese food. Instead, every dish we ordered: two different types of rolls, the kids' beef pho, the bánh mì, and a noodle dish, were overwhelmingly salty. Even adding Sriracha couldn't cut through the saltiness. Everyone has different tastes, but this was far from the balanced flavor profile I expect from a Vietnamese cuisine. I also understand this is a family-run business, but the service was virtually nonexistent. We rarely saw anyone after our food was brought out, and there was little effort to check on customers or provide a welcoming dining experience; even when you're less than 10 feet from our table. Finally, charging $3 for a can of soda is nothing short of highway robbery. At that price, I expected at least a fountain drink with refills, not a single can. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, especially for a family-owned business, but reviews are meant to reflect honest experiences. Based on the food, service, and pricing, this was an underwhelming visit and, unfortunately, not a restaurant I'll be returning to.
