Four stars for an Asian buffet? Yes! But keep in mind the rating is relative to other Asian buffets I've been to in the area. I was pretty impressed by the options that Wok & Roll offer. As the name implies, they offer stir fried "wok" options and sushi rolls as well. They have a decent variety. Even sticking to pescatarian options, they have a lot to offer. I tend to gravitate toward the sushi, vegetable stir fries, dessert, and ice cream, which they have plenty of. The ice cream, might I add, is great quality and a perfect way to end a meal. Try topping a scoop with candied peanuts, cookies, or fruit from the dessert/ salad bar for a diy sundae! The service is actually very attentive for a buffet. We were asked several times if we needed anything and how the food was. It's a nice change. Overall, the quality and options are decent for the price you pay. Keep in mind there are more expensive seafood nights. So pick the day according to your food preferences. a very bland and disappointing buffet. the sushi was alright, comparable to grocery store sushi. many of the staple dishes just weren't good - the chow mein was bland, as was the hot and sour soup, and i literally had to spit out a piece of the beef broccoli because of how fatty it was. i wanted to try the crab legs, but they don't provide the proper utensils for breaking them open. how are we supposed to eat it?? also, it was kinda noisy inside from all the children eating in, which wasn't very fun for me. i will say the service was nice, but that doesn't make up for the blah food. read more

We've been wanting to try this place for a long time & finally got around to it. Late October 2021 & most restaurants we've visited have not asked customers to wear masks, nor have their staff wear them for months. No masks were asked to be worn, but staff was wearing them. They were passing out earth littering useless food handling gloves, but other than that, decent meal, friendly & attentive staff. It's buffet sushi, so expect buffet food. $12.95 for lunch buffet on a Saturday. Sushi selection was impressive, the Angry Dragon Roll was the best. Across the board the meats were tender, most everything tasty. We found the fried rice to be well seasoned, but the chow mein to be too plain. The Crab Rangoons were the best I've ever had. Filled well. Low carbers shouldn't have a problem finding batter free meats & veggies to eat. Small selection of fruits, olives, seafood were present. I personally wasn't impressed with the fresh shrimp or muscles. They have an ice cream bar & small cakes, cookies, puddings. As always, the espresso chocolate cake was delicious.. the fried dough Zoloft pillows a diet killer...& the neatest star cookies filled with a chewy pear filling, fascinating. I remember when this place was a different buffet. It got cleaned up really well and the food was fairly tasty. I don't know if it was anything like oh my God, but the pretty tasty. The crab legs, according to my wife, we're not very good. She said there was not a lot of meat in them and it did not come out that easily. The price was a little high for me, but then I don't eat sushi. The sushi bar looked pretty good so I think if you go to sushi fan, this might be a place for you. The Server was great, he was there to take away our plates and always had a fresh refill for us. Again at $22 a person, I don't know If it was for me, the non seafood person. read more

As a happy customer that was ordering weekly at one time, all we wanted was some extra wasabi and ginger with our order. We would ask nicely by app/phone each time. We would have paid for the extra happily too! Occasionally they said they would and didn't. One time when we called the owner told "that's not something we do. go elsewhere if you want that." We have been to this place a dozen times in 2 years The experience today was a first for me. We arrived at about 10 minutes til 4 pm. So we were charged the lunch price. One of the employees told her she could not get Nymore food because it was for the DINNER menu. Not the LUNCH menu. I have been to many buffets in my 76 years and I never had this happen. So I asked the owner what was the deal with this. He said the same and now that I k now I should not expect to eat as much as we want if we come in right before thay change to the dinner menu and dinner pricing. So my questio is,,,, if we get there at 10 til 4, do we need to finish eating by 4:00 pm. Or 4:15.? An all you can eat buffet is just that. Now the gal that told my wife she could not hVe more food because I had eaten MY DESERT. Now I am an easy going guy, but stupidity gets me riled up a bit. So I AK Ed her what does me eating desert have to do with my wife being able to eat all she wants at am all you can eat buffet? She had a puzzle and frustrated look on her face and did not answer me. So if a business's does not want people to come in 10 minutes before the price changes fron lunch to dinner, perhaps they should lock the doors at 3:30 and unlock them at 4 so they can change over the buffet food from lunch to dinner. But to stop a paying customer from eating aĺl they want is a great way to lose customers. Please keep in mind that we did not plan to try to get there 10 minutes before the price changed from lunch to dinner. It just happened to work that way after shopping all afternoon. I would have no problem paying the dinner price if we had arrived at 2 minutes after 4 pm. I have done that many times at this and other buffets. Now while I am reviewing I will mention that this place used to hVe good salmon. The for months that had no salmon. Now the salmon is back. But it is not the same. I consider myself to be an elitist when it comes to both Chinese and Japanese cuisine likely do to my time spent in both countries and as a regular yelper I came here based on the high marks of other yelp elitist. I never hold high standards to any restaurant that I go to when I have been to the country of origin and this is no different. The mushrooms are cooked in oyster sauce which was a sad day for me since I love sauteed shrooms, however I wasnt willing to risk an alergic reaction due to oysters. And there were NO Kuo Teh ( Chinese Dumplings) a staple at every chinese lunch and dinner. After work I met my hubby and son at Wok And Roll buffet on Ina. We will never go again. The food was mediocre, not a good selection and the bill was $84 and some change for 3 people. I paid with my card. And the waiter looked at the receipt and then looked at me, then said "no tip?" If he had waited just a second more, he would have seen I was going to pull out cash and use that for the tip instead of putting it on the card. Doesn't he realize that customers don't have to leave a tip? But we do it because we appreciate them giving us good service. I know prices are going up and it's hard on people, but you just don't ask for a tip, it's rude. I would not recommend them at all. read more
