Did a special running to where the first month was $41... Awesome! The next month was the full price at $186. My third month payment is due in two days but yesterday I got a notice that my rent was gonna increase from 186 just below 230 a month. I was angry and I was talking to friends who rented there. They shared that their experience since NSA Storage storage on the property is that they typically get a rent increase every 4 to 5 months I went down to the facility today to let them know that I would be moving out because felt like I had been and switched. That's a 25% increase in three months. Or $300 a year. I'll just sell the stuff and buy new stuff in the next Step of my journey.

So how to begin with a review of Carson Valley Movers. In a few words they are fantastic, amazing,…read morewonderful, excellent, awesome, terrific, fabulous. We contacted Carson Valley Movers regarding a move from Carson City to Sequim WA, after a glowing recommendation from someone who used them for a similar move to Sequim back in 2018. From the very start our interaction with Miki was as good as it gets. Miki came to do a walk through for an estimate which was quick and fun thanks to her personality. We agreed upon their services and then she even came by on her way from work to drop off some large boxes we needed for artwork and a mirror. Then Miki and Jim came by a few days before the actual loading of the truck to make an inventory list and then managed to load quite a bit then to save time later on. Watching to two of them was poetry in motion. I kid you not. Then when they came back a few days later for the final loading it was the same thing all over again. Then a few days later, Jim arrived with the truck in Sequim and with the help of a couple local lads unloaded everything safe and sound within a couple hours. In all sincerity you couldn't find anyone better than Carson Valley Movers. They truly made what felt like a daunting move to us at our ages being in our seventies far less stressful than we imagined when it came to their part in moving us to our dream location. If you need someone to move you for whatever reason, you would be crazy to not contact them right away. Thank you Miki and Jim and all the rest of your team for making our physical move as easy as possible.

Response time was extraordinarily fast. Ron the owner, showed up and competently and quickly performed the needed work. Cost was very reasonable. As an unanticipated plus, we learned Ron is something of an oral historian regarding the history of Douglas County, its people, businesses, and most things relating to its last local cattle drives which he participated in as a youngster. His recollection of names, personalities, events and circumstances are so astonishing that I hope our Historical Society reaches out to him to better capture our amazing history. Our meeting was the silver lining in what was otherwise a pretty frustrating day. Highly recommended, without reservation.
