The very kind woman assured me she would contact my ex husband to have him sign a new lease. I was told multiple times that would happen and not to worry about it. Not only have I continue to receive calls, but Tony the gentleman told me it's not their job to sort that stuff out. I'm not quite sure why I would have to facilitate a new lease agreement when I am not an employee of theirs. I had to contact my ex-husband and tell him he needs to go down there because they have failed at doing that portion of their job. My ex-husband is a faithful customer with them. Not only did they say they could not contact him to do a new lease, but they lied about doing so. They never attempted all of the times he had been in there all of the previous months to rectify this issue after it had been asked multiple times. Because I am not an employee I have no access to create a new lease, so I'm not sure why I would be told that it's not their job. I would recommend going to a more reputable storage company if you're looking to store your valuables because I wouldn't trust a business that relies on its customers to do a portion of their job. They seem rather disorganized so be cautious,your belongings could potentially be lost or damaged and judging on how they have handled this situation they would handle that poorly.

A month but the trouble I had made it impossible to get into my unit because she locked me out for no reason. She sent me an email saying I couldn't have two locks on my unit . I don't always check my email and (I still haven't found this email), and I have had two locks on it for over a year! So when I went to my storage and found one of my locks cut off I was very concerned so I called her and found out about the email in which I replied why couldn't you have called me I would have been right over to take it off. She had no explanation except it had to be emailed because there is a charge involved, so not only did I lose a lock but I was charged for it too. So now my storage got paid with the extra fee and I made sure it went through. Then today I went to drop some things off in my totally paid for storage and i am locked out! I can't believe this! It is after business hours and I try to get in touch with her but of course I can't! Why am I locked out is she trying to punish me? What is up with that?

NOT TRUTHFUL WITH ME - BAD CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE…read more Unfortunately, I had rated them five stars...until I left after several months. I had been out of the country and, after a long drive home, got home from the airport at 2:00 in the morning. I called Anchor's Office Manager and said, "I know today is the last day of the month, but can you pro-rate me one day so I can come in this weekend?" He said they don't pro-rate charges, but for just one day, they wouldn't charge me if I vacated first thing in the morning. I DID...AND A COUPLE OF DAYS AFTER I LEFT, THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD FOR A FULL MONTH ANYWAY. Had I known they were going to be untruthful, I would have left the car there for the month! Instead, I paid a full month's rent for a vacant spot that they rented out. I asked the Office Manager to email his supervisor's contact information to me, which he agreed to, but never did. THIS LEFT A VERY BAD TASTE IN MY MOUTH. This was a very bad customer experience.

I could not believe our good fortune when - completely unexpectedly during a rushed move following…read morethe sale of our home - I called Vinny's Minis and the friendliest, most helpful, and understanding person answered the phone (I'm sooooo sorry I forgot your name!). She didn't even hesitate or make the process seem complicated when she offered a unit that we were able to get into that same day. When I arrived a few hours later, exhausted and cranky and driving a 25-foot U-Haul truck, she made the check-in process feel completely painless. With her traffic control help, I was backing up the U-Haul truck in under 15 minutes! After rolling up the door to the storage unit I completely melted down with relief - it was ULTRA clean, easy to access, and the perfect size. About a week later when we realized the buyers of our home wanted to close in 9 days, I called for another unit - fully expecting to hear that nothing was available. Our good fortune hadn't run out - they had a 10x30 available the next day. The whole add-a-unit process was handled over the phone and online (we lived 45 minutes away at the time) so it was completely hassle-free. Once again, the second staff member (I'm so sorry I forgot your name!) who managed this part of the transaction was SUPER friendly and beyond helpful. The whole property is really well-kept and clean, the units were both very clean, the roll-up doors work perfectly, and we're just so grateful to have found a business with old-school, neighborly-feeling customer service. Did a special running to where the first month was $41... Awesome! The next month was the full price at $186. My third month payment is due in two days but yesterday I got a notice that my rent was gonna increase from 186 just below 230 a month. I was angry and I was talking to friends who rented there. They shared that their experience since NSA Storage storage on the property is that they typically get a rent increase every 4 to 5 months I went down to the facility today to let them know that I would be moving out because felt like I had been and switched. That's a 25% increase in three months. Or $300 a year. I'll just sell the stuff and buy new stuff in the next Step of my journey.
