We contacted Carson Valley Movers regarding a move from Carson City to Sequim WA, after a glowing recommendation from someone who used them for a similar move to Sequim back in 2018. From the very start our interaction with Miki was as good as it gets. Miki came to do a walk through for an estimate which was quick and fun thanks to her personality. We agreed upon their services and then she even came by on her way from work to drop off some large boxes we needed for artwork and a mirror. Then Miki and Jim came by a few days before the actual loading of the truck to make an inventory list and then managed to load quite a bit then to save time later on. Watching to two of them was poetry in motion. I kid you not. Then when they came back a few days later for the final loading it was the same thing all over again. Then a few days later, Jim arrived with the truck in Sequim and with the help of a couple local lads unloaded everything safe and sound within a couple hours. In all sincerity you couldn't find anyone better than Carson Valley Movers. They truly made what felt like a daunting move to us at our ages being in our seventies far less stressful than we imagined when it came to their part in moving us to our dream location. If you need someone to move you for whatever reason, you would be crazy to not contact them right away. What a joke. Made a reservation online, completed all documentation and their "move-in" process. I…read moreselected an outside storage unit. I head over to the facility, security code in hand. Upon arrival, code won't work. Tried it at least a dozen times So, I call the number on the sign. Voice mail says "they aren't on site but can be reached by phone." After MULTIPLE attempts, that proves to not be true. I tried calling the Fernly location. That too went to voicemail, saying "Today is September 1st and we are closed for the holiday." Today is in fact November 26. Upon calling the silver springs location, again I only get a voicemail, but they at least give office hours. Thinking I might be able to told to SOME sort of employee, I drive to the Spanish Springs location. Guess what, their office is inside the secure gate, you can't get in unless you have a security code for that location. Negative contact with any living soul. I drive BACK to the Carson location. My security code still doesn't work. I tried a simple, generic code and the gate opened right up. I drive around for a minute to locate my storage unit. Guess what? It's NOT a storage unit. Appreciate, according to Safe Storage, and only Safe Storage, an outside storage unit, is a parking spot. They have a few secure units, but I won't be dealing with this company again. They are misleading and INCOMPETENT!
