My technician's name was Patrick, and he was very professional. I am selling my home and was required by an inspector to get an A/C tune-up. Patrick assessed my unit and explained the work needed to meet the inspector's requirements. Patrick answered all of my questions. He gave me an honest assessment of my a/c unit and gave me his recommendations. He completed the work very quickly. Brent at Wise AC is awesome! I originally had him come out to check a pipe that was leaking from my roof. When he went to check it out the drain pan was all overflowing and rusted so he was able to fix it before it caused a leak. he also realized that one of my three units was installed backwards and was able to fix that for me as well. I signed up for his maintenance program where he comes out a couple times a year to Change the filters and check to make sure everything is OK. When he was there to check everything before winter he realized that the builders heater installer in the attic had left the manuals inside the unit and they had started to burn. So so far he has kept us from having a leak and preventing our house from burning down. Even if you have a brand new house this goes to show you definitely need a great AC guy that has your back. read more

It's WISE to choose Wise A/C! When our A/C compressor spewed out grey smoke refrigerant all over our backyard with accompanying sparks and a loud explosion, I knew that it was DOA! Imagine that happening to you on a Sunday when the heat was 95 degrees. Who is reputable and who can you trust on the weekend, let alone on any weekday? I called two A/C companies. One was on an answering service with technicians on call. The other was Brent Wise from Wise A/C, who answered my call immediately. Brent told me take pictures of the unit and the model number sticker and text the pictures to him. Brent immediately told me that I needed a whole new compressor unit and that he would come out free of charge on Monday to provide me with some reasonable options. Meantime, the other A/C company with an answering service sent a technician without confirming to me that someone was on the way. For this "service call," the technician wanted $247.50 for showing up ... $75.00 for the service call on Sunday and $172.50 for labor (time and a half on Sunday). I told this technician that I did not authorize this call nor would I pay such an outrageous price! This was ridiculous when Brent from Wise A/C had already confirmed what was wrong with our unit over the phone. Brent arrived the next day and checked the compatibility of what we would need for a replacement AC compressor unit. Upon inspection of our upstairs coil and heater, Brent found a leaking gas line going into our heating unit! Brent immediately shut off the gas and showed me the breach (hole in the line). This, alone, was a life saver for our family! We did not realize that we had this dangerous gas leak in our attic. Brent stated he would replace the gas line as an integral part of the A/C compressor replacement. He gave me a fair price and stated that he would be back the next day if he could find the compressor unit that I would need. On Tuesday, both he and his wife, Carolyn, who is also a certified A/C technician, showed up and connected the replacement A/C unit. They worked as a team to make sure all components were working and moved the old unit out of the way for pickup the next day. They did not leave until they were sure that our AC was on and working perfectly. He checked back with me later that evening to make sure the AC unit was working perfectly. Instead of asking questions, he stated that he could stop by later in the afternoon and would give me a quote. He showed up on time. He did a visual inspection inside and out. A/C went out,evaporator coil, this past Saturday. After reviewing Yelp sent out three contacts and WISE A/C responded. After explaining situation Brent said they could come out on Sunday. After 1 hour inspection confirmed it was the coil. They said they could repair on Monday. The job was done in approximately 3 hours. Brent said they would come back in n a couple days after house had cooled to check system. Which he did. My wife and I are very pleased with the job Brent & Carolyn did. I called Wise AC at 3AM after hearing the crashing sound of the fan mount failing on my air conditioning unit and knowing that it was going to be destroyed if I tried to run it any more. I called about 10 companies, all of which identified themselves as being open 24/7. Only Brent Wise answered the phone and he was at my house later that morning to take care of things at a completely reasonable price. I subsequently used Wise AC to replace my outdoor AC unit and felt that the information I received was fair and honest. The work was done on time and at the agreed price which is exactly what I'm looking for in any contractor. We had an extremely good experience with wise ac. Husband and wife team is super competent and go out of their way to take care of their customers. We first used them back in August when one of our ac units went out. Turns out our motor went dead and after calling a few places on a Friday night no one except Brent and Carolyn were able to come out. Not only could they come to use at midnight but somehow they had the connection to get the supply shop open to get the new motor. The fee they charged was extremely reasonable. Since our units were 14 years old and previous owners didn't take good care of them we wanted to switch out both of our hvac systems. We spent two weeks getting quotes and doing research on hvac systems. We also got quotes from a few reputable places recommended on yelp but ultimately decided on Brent and Carolyn because we just trusted them more and they both had previously worked for a bigger highly rated company and just branched out to start their own business. We went with American standard systems and they came out with their installation team to do the work. It took them three days to take out the old systems. Install the new, and redo all duct work. If a company tells you they can do it in a day most likely it's shoddy work esp if duct work is involved. They also have a very experienced installer which is clutch. They did a detailed job and we are very pleased. WestU requires an inspection post installation and they passed first time. Brent and Carolyn are always responsive (even in the evenings) and will do their best to get to you asap. Even post install they always answer my questions right away. They are a family business that are looking for long term relationships with their customers. We have recommended them to friends and all are happy with them. We are so glad we found wise and they are definitely our go to for anything hvac related. read more

I called Wise to come out to my home because my AC was not blowing. The owner came out right away and told me dreaded news - that I needed a replacement. However, I was so pleased that he also gave me a number of options that could hold me over for a time. Honest options at various price ranges along with the risks of each. I felt like I was very fairly dealt with. THEN, my AC went out a week later, wouldn't even turn on. I talked to the owner again who came right away. He called me at work and told me there was such a simple fix that he didn't even charge me for coming out. We had not been happy with the installer of our A/C unit but had been calling them due to warranty. The unit had issues late in the evening and this company said they could send someone in the morning. I had also reached out to Wise A/C and although they could not make it that night, Brent was texting me with free advice late into the night. He offered to come by the next morning to keep the other guys honest. Sure enough, he arrived as the other technician was explaining that we needed a new compressor and TXV valve. Brent literally diagnosed for less than a minute and declared a simple fix. Saved us what I have to assume would have been almost $2K with this other bogus diagnosis.
