She needed it for some school communications as well as work for an internship that week and was concerned something had been damaged that would require a lot of time and $$ to fix. We couldn't make it to iFix It until close enough to closing time that I figured there was no way we'd have an answer, much less a solution, that evening. But Caleb was there, and he went above and beyond to identify the problem (for the most part it just needed a screen replacement) and then go ahead and handle the repair while we waited, voluntarily and without even asking us about the urgency of the repair. He immediately showed that 1) he could see what the issue was, 2) knew how to fix it, and 3) he cared. It's all too easy these days to find, and then complain about, poor service, or even ok service for that matter. I was so impressed by Caleb's professionalism in fixing the problem with the iPhone, and his willingness to spend the time to go beyond what he may have been required to do. That he was kind and personable all while making the repair was delightful. By the way, this was not my first visit to iFix It at the West Town Mall, and obviously I had enough trust to return for this repair, and now I'll be even more of a loyal customer. I had my iPhone X screen and battery repaired/replaced for $150. My daughter's iPhone 6 got a new screen for $55 and her iPad 6 screen was replaced for $100. I know the parts are aftermarket and probably not the same quality as true OEM. But, if you are replacing parts on a phone, why pay top dollar? At that point, it makes sense to just get a new one. I certainly don't like paying for repairs to my devices. But, if you need it, this is the place. Since the staff seem to be vested in the business, they really care. Definitely better than the mall kiosks and other repair shops. Only unusual thing is their storefront is in an office complex down a long interior hallway. I assume it's because the rent is low and they got a lot of space cheaply. But, just know that it's not your usual "retail" location storefront. Overall -- Highly recommended.

The little shop had three customers ahead of me, so I waited. When I met with the technition, I described the phone's behavior and stated that if the repair were a lost cause, I was not interested in paying a $50 fee to confirm that the phone was in fact broken. He assured me that if he could not fix it, I would not be charged. There was a cue of laptops to repair ahead of mine, so he stated that it might take a while to get to mine- first come first serve. I left the phone with him. I couple hours later i got a call that the phone was fixed. I picked up the phone, and while paying for the repair I asked how this might have been avoided. He sold me an SD card, and guided my adjustment default saving to the card instead of the phone's hard drive. While I can never be guarantees that no failures will occur, at least now I have the photos and contacts saved to SD and easily removable. I thought this was excellent service and this is where i will return in the future.

The young man at the counter took one look at my iPad, and said he knew exactly what was wrong, and went behind a wall to fix it. Came back and it was good to go!
