Winners is a weird store. Not weird as in bad, just weird as in I either go to Winners and want to…read morebuy everything or I go in, and want to buy nothing and leave disgusted. My most recent visit to Winners in Leduc was scenario A (want to buy everything). Winners is a discount store (so they say) that has deals on a wide variety of products from clothes to cosmetics to accessories to home decor to candy to toys. I've been to several Winners before and sometimes the deals are really awesome, but other times the Winners price isn't that great of a deal. It kind of depends on what you're looking for, and on the original retail price of the item your looking at. I just say this because it's easy to look and go "omg 50% off" and want to buy everything, but not everything is that great of a deal. That being said I do generally like Winners. I don't usually find much in the clothing department, just because their plus size selection is limited to one rack, but I always like browsing the accessories and the purses and handbags at Winners. The have some random brands I don't recognize, but then ones I do like Guess. On my last visit, I found a nice, basic gray over the shoulder purse that is perfect for traveling, and it was only $25, which seems like a great deal to me. I also really like browsing the home department section at Winners because they have cool home decor stuff, but it isn't just double decker bus figures and Buddha statues, there's more practical home stuff. Case in point the 6 pack fo wooden hangers for pants that I got. Winners can be quite busy, particularly on weekends or after holidays, but Leduc's Winners is nice. It's a decent size (not quite as big as some of the ones in Edmonton) and it's always clean and well organized. The staff are pretty friendly, and even when being the 15th person in line for the checkout counter it doesn't take too long to check out. I don't always shop at Winners, but I generally like it when I do.

They had lots of pick up times available which was great! I really like that when I was about to leave I was able to check in. The location of the pick up area is also really great here as it's separate to the regular store parking. Then during my visit there was yet another small dog entering the store. This is completely unacceptable as not all customers appreciate other people's dogs. This is most likely in violation with Alberta health and the food inspection agency. There is food and beverage for sale in this store. Some customers are scared of animals and others may be allergic. I questioned the cashier about the acceptance of this in which she informed 'all are welcome'. I find that every time I visit a new-to-me Costco location, I spot some stuff that I either never see at my normal location or that my normal location simply doesn't carry and that is a lovely perk. It's to the left of Scotiabank Theatre and to the right of the sea-world place, so it's easy to not notice it. I paid Europa Boulevard a visit the other week and I wish I had done so much sooner. There are some great fashion stores here. I mean, all it is is clothing stores so they better be good. Most of them are pretty high-end so they can be very expensive. But if you're really into fashion and you spend a good amount of money on designer brands, then all the stores you need are on Europa Boulevard. Trust me. The place is designed to look like a European city, something on the lines of Milan I assume, which gives off the sense that your wallet is going to get hurt. Europa Blvd has a open, glass ceiling and probably gets the most sunlight in the entire mall, which makes the area look very nice. A great place to shop.

They carry trendy high end clothes (like Seven Jeans). For the most part, the staff in these stores are decent. I find that some of them can be a bit snobby though. Maybe it's the atmosphere - all the high end clothes make people feel high end?! Who knows. This little area is easily overlooked. Check it out next time you are in the mall and see what you think.
