First visit here was exceptional! I booked the massage facial and a few waxing services. Booking online was quick and easy! FYI they do request a $50 deposit when booking which can be used toward your service. Very reasonable IMO considering the quality of service they provide, and to limit no shows. Arrived early and was able to relax prior to my service in a massage chair. While waiting they included complimentary brow threading. The clinician who did my facial and wax was patient with my questions and was very friendly. Hubby booked mani and pedi for me and my older daughter on Mothers day while my hubby and my younger daughter got pedicures. We weren't sure how she would do because she has Down Syndrome and Autism and this is a new experience for her. Her lady was Parminder, and she did AMAZING with kiddo. She was kind and patient and professional. I couldn't of hoped for a better staff to work with her. And kiddo seemed to love it and actually by the end got too excitable. :) Hubby said his experience was professional as well. Oldest daughter and I had a good experience with our nails. And it is nice that they offer free coffee and tea to relax you and you can upgrade to champagne or fancier coffee beverages if you want to Place is clean and welcoming. I never had the opportunity to review their services as trying to book one is nothing but a nightmare. Phoning...no answer. Had to text them, asked for a day and time, no problem they text back to get your information, name, number email. Then, tell you a different time works better for them...Okay make an adjustment. Then they tell you a $50.00 deposit is necessary. Would be nice if they were transparent regarding their policies before you share your information. This is a wonderful salon! The interior is so beautiful and peaceful, I've been here probably about ten times in the last couple months with my spouse. We come In and get pedicures done and facials mainly. These have been the best facials we've ever gotten! Also the selection of gel polishes is unreal!!! Such an amazing variety compared to lots of other salons. Yulia is great at pedicures she is my fav!! The only ladies are also very good, they do an amazing job and are gentle. I have been here for various things: mani and pedi, my nails last forever and always look amazing!!! Eyebrow threading - every single lady here does an amazing job! If you've never had threading, do it. BBL, made my skin legitimately look 5 years younger after 4 sessions. It's not the most pleasant feeling treatment but it works! And finally microdermabrasion- I am obsessed. I come every 5 weeks for micro and it's amazing. Most recently I saw Amanpreet and my skin looks and feels so good. She is amazing and really makes you feel pampered with an awesome shoulder, neck, arm, and décolleté massage. I highly recommend Forever Young for all of your skin care and spa needs! read more

The booking process was not easy (hard to get through on the phone) The girl who answered was monotone and rude... she sounded bored or like she didn't want to be there. This shop is located in the same building as my dentist's office. I walked in to check things out and discovered they carried a product I had been looking for, but did not offer it in the scent I wanted. I inquired whether it could be ordered for me. I was told yes. Provided my contact information. Waited (months) to no avail. Went in the next time I visited my dentist and went through exactly the same drill. Still waiting. Very bizarre. Dec 6 2017 UPDATE: Sheetal, the owner of the establishment read my review and contacted me directly. She made good on procuring a similar product for me and gave it to me gratis (that's free in Spanish) to make up for the inconvenience! In return, I booked a pedicure (Hannah did a very nice job with my gel pedicure). The only other comment I have at this point concerns the music which plays in the treatment area. In my opinion, it should be more spa-type like (something more along the lines of what I heard in the bathroom) to help relaxation while having any service. I was a customer of Forever Young for a couple of years and recently returned when I relocated back to the Edmonton area. My experiences in the past have been positive and I appreciate the quality products they use so I was happy to continue supporting a small business. I totally forgot that I had pre-purchased a package of facials a few years ago so it was a pleasant surprise to see the $200 credit on my online account. I called the spa to confirm I was interpreting this information correctly and booked a facial. The esthetician who did my facial was great! I purchased some products to take home, my $200 credit was applied and I paid the remainder ($75). The next day I received a received a call from the spa advising that an error was made in calculating my total and that I owed an additional $120. The math that was initially presented to me wasn't adding up so I requested a follow up call with the manager. I was informed that the $200 previously showing on my account was not actually a credit and was misread by not only one but two of their staff (the receptionist that took my booking and the staff member that processed my payment). I understand that mistakes happen and there is a learning curve for new staff but I didn't feel that this error made by the spa should be passed on to me, the customer. I explained to the manager that had I been informed of this error at payment, I wouldn't have purchased $195 in product as I'm on a budget. The manager was empathetic to my frustrations and offered to speak to the owner to see what could be done to rectify this. Unfortunately, the best that the spa could do was offer a complimentary brow threading (approx $20 value) and honour the sale price on future facials. I reluctantly paid the remaining balance but will be taking my business elsewhere as I definitely didn't feel my business was valued at this establishment. read more

Hanna did my gel nail manicure for my wedding over three weeks ago and she did an absolutely perfect job! My nails have never looked so beautiful - I couldn't stop looking at them. I am very particular about what I like aesthetically, and they turned out exactly how I envisioned. They also lasted an insanely long time. I did have this salon at 4 stars but after been there a few times I know now not to return. I started getting my nails done by Hanna. I booked in for gel nails and refills a few times over the period of about 3 months. It wasn't until I was charged $80 that I really started questioning my service. Then chatting to one of my friends and describing the products that are used she enlightened me that I was actually having acrylic sets put on my nails. The first time I went I questioned about the "powder" gel and Hanna said that it was gel and that it's so much better for the strength of your real nail. However I referred a friend to Hanna and she has recently had them taken off and she says that there's absolutely no strength anymore and her nails are extremely sore. Not only this but Hanna couldn't take them fully off because it became too painful. So not only were we both lied to but we have been being overcharged as she's been writing $60 for the refill but technically for the acrylic it's only $50. My recommendation to everyone is to steer clear from getting your nails done here unless you actually want acrylic! read more

Spa was very beautiful but extremely overpriced in comparison to the products used, time spent and customer service. Most high-end salons use packaged, auto-claved tools and this was not visibly apparent. Appointment was booked but we were not taken for our appointment until 15 minutes after the set time (even though we had arrived early). The person who did my pedicure and my eyebrows worked quickly and was constantly trying to sell me on products, book me for other appointments and give me unsolicited advice on skincare that I did not ask for or indicate that I wanted. I can understand this being part of her job but it came off insincere and rather rude. It was insulting to be taken for an eyebrow threading and be told my skin was so bad and needed these multiple "miracle products" to improve - if I don't ask for advice on my skin, why am I receiving it? The threading was $10 and when I arrived home, I was able to see multiple hairs that were missed. It was extremely irritating and rude that I was asked what skincare I'm using and then being told "I should switch because what I'm using is obviously not working." Spas are easy to find in Edmonton and customer service should be number one, in my opinion. I have been to this location twice for eyebrows. A lady named Isha has done a great job on my eyebrows. I swear she's the only one that can get both my eyebrows to have a nice arch lol. She does threading so if you are a waxer just ask. Isha was very friendly and can provide a lot of information about maintenance and services. The new facility is a lot larger and fancy than the one near Bulyea road. They are definitely a full service spa. I will be back. However I have only got my brows done there so I don't know much about the other services. read more

This was my first visit to Forever Young for my nails. Mind you I'm very picky and a perfectionist when it comes to my nails so I was a little hesitant on trying a new technician. Well was I ever surprise and please with Hannah! She is by far the best nail technician I've had in all my years of doing nails. As soon as you walk in and see her she has a smile and greets you warmly and offers you a drink. You feel like you are in a 5 star spa and the place was beautiful and clean. I usually get gel nails done and I'm very particular when it comes to artwork and colour coordination, well Hannah is not a disappointment. She is very good in choosing the right colour and the artwork she did on my nails are dramatic yet sophisticated. I am sold on her work at Forever Young. Yes the place maybe a little pricier than other nail salons but you really get what you paid for. If you want an average nail with a little mess here and there in a less than posh atmosphere then go elsewhere but if you want 5 star service with 5 star nails then come to Forever Young in Windermere!! I have been meaning to write a review since the first day I came here . I cannot say enough good things about this place. I have had quite a few different services done here and had a great consistent experience. I walked in and was greeted right away( this is a big one for me I will walk right back out if I am not acknowledged) I was asked if I wanted water or something to drink while I wait ( not much of a wait to be honest which is a plus) I was brought in and seated in these amazing chairs for my pedi !!! The lady was friendly and kind and was always checking to be sure I was comfortable. I am very very very very picky about the cleanliness of a place as I have read horrible things about salons but this place was extremely clean almost like a doctors office which is nice especially if your ocd like me with that kind of stuff ! After my pedi ( which was amazing by the way) I was out in front and the receptionist asked if I wanted to try threading by a girl named Jenny . My eyebrows have never looked this good before and it didn't hurt ( I thought it would ) all in all I have to say this was one of the best experiences I have had at a salon. Like I mentioned before since this appointment I have gone back and tried mani/pedi threading , hair cut, and a few facials and have had such a wonderful experience every time I have gone . There is no where else to go in Edmonton for spa services! Been going for years for nails and recently started getting my eyebrows threaded and tinted. The process is very fast, non-painful and the results are amazing! The tint lasts about 3 weeks and I threw out my eyebrow pencil! Today was the fifth time Hanna did my nails. Not only does she always greet me with a kind smile, she always makes me feel very comfortable. I have to admit, I was a little uncomfortable with having to pay a bit more than what I'm used to, but I know firsthand from being in the beauty industry for 32 years, you get what you pay for. I have been throwing away a lot of money over the years for average work. The first two times I seen Hannah I chose to get shellac nails done, as I wanted to keep my costs down, but then I started seeing some of the work she had done on some of her clients, and I just had to switch back to my tips!Her work is exquisite, and I have never being so happy with my nails. The shape is absolutely perfect, they're strong but not thick. I have never ,in all my years known a nail tech that tries so hard to please her clients. Anybody could see how much she loves her work , by the amount of pride she takes in it. I will be a lifelong client! Being a vegan, I was thrilled to see all of the cruelty free products they carry!! I decided to step out of the box and let somebody else do my hair for a change. Tessa nailed it the first time! She gave me a colour change that I would've never imagined I could wear.
