Great customer service seems to be the first priority at Vadara! As I walk into the salon I am greeted with "hello and a how are you?" very friendly staff at Vadara. I am checked in and then offered a coffee, water or tea. The coffee is fresh and hot! My stylist then greats me and sits me down at her station, were we go through a consultation, and even with my short hair she asks me what I would like done, she was very attentive and listened to my wishes. After a relaxing head massage during my shampoo she does a great job with my hair! Even received a hand massage from there massage therapist! One of the little things that I appreciated was the rinse after my haircut (I hate going all day with those itchy little hairs all over). As I was getting my hair done, the owner came up to greet me which was a nice touch knowing that even though I was just getting a haircut I still mattered. The salon is very clean and very trendy, and it seems as though it is a very close bunch of employees there as everyone is friendly which is nice, I hate those salons were they make you feel like if you don't have a million dollars you are really not good enough! Definitely not the case at Vadara. If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming place to get pretty, this is the place! When I was done the stylist walked me to the front and thanked me for coming in. Needless to say I rebooked, and they offered to send me a text reminder for my next appointment, nice touch! Love this place! All of the staff are professional, knowledgeable and very friendly. Have had my hair cut and coloured by two of the stylists there. (I would recommend both.) Beth, who does amazing colours and intricate designs and Courtney who is one of the hardest to get an appointment with but absolutely worth it if you are lucky enough. My favourite is the hand massage closely followed by the leg massage that are part of the manicures and pedicures. Both Shelly and Meagan are excellent! ( And I let Shelly die my eyelashes which I will definitely be doing again. Don't often get time to visit the salon but this is somewhere I love to go on a Saturday morning and get the whole works done. I have experienced quite a few of the services offered at Vadara except for the massage, which I plan to book in for soon. I have also trained with Daina Soon. (I don't think she has the words "no" or "I can't" in her vocabulary!) Very intense training - result driven. The boot-camps are fun but her personal one on one training is great. Highly recommend if you want to get in shape and feel good about yourself. read more

Vadara's staff is amazing! I go to spas all the time and have found my new favourite!! I called up Vadara on a Monday and got in the following Thursday. I wanted some quiet time and just a relaxing environment before the hecticness of July long weekend. I was greeted with a smile and beverage right away. I waited maybe 5 minutes (just enough time to shut my phone off and breathe) before I was brought into my first service. The esthetician was fabulous only talking when I did and letting me have the peace and quiet I needed. Right after I was whisked to their HUGE pedicure sanctuary. With a chair that massaged you and blasted some heat on my shoulders I was more than ready to fall asleep. Now the best part of the whole visit... THE CHOCOLATE DESSERT SCRUB!! YUMMY!! It was like chocolate cake for my legs and feet and what a lovely scrub. So to wrap it up... Go get pampered!!! One of the best experiences I have had. They treat you like family and the owner of the salon is very focused on customer satisfaction. With the energy and efficiency they provide you really can't go wrong. read more

I went in on Saturday to Vadara to have a pedicure with Megan Johnson, I was sooo impressed by everything. I was welcomed by the owner (I found out later) and she already knew who I was going to be with that day and and promptly went to let Megan know I was there. A few minutes later Megan came out and brought me back into the pedicure area to start my experience. The pedicure chairs were amazing...they even had light up foot baths that changed color. Everything was ready for me and we got started right away. The company with Megan was great, she was super nice and made me feel comfortable the entire visit. She has amazing hands and with my swollen feet (being almost 8 month pregnant) she took very good care of me. They had a great selection of colors to choose from for the polish and a great selection of scrubs to choose from as well. I would definately recommend Vadara and especially Megan to anyone for the pedicure needs! What a great experience. read more

This salon was a life saver for my wedding!! After having a terrible experience at spasation I was turned in Vadaras direction and I'm so happy for that. I had a hair and makeup trial that was flawless. Beth, my hair stylist, was so friendly. She looked and listened to what I wanted and accommodated me in ways spasation wouldn't. I was not allowed to leave her chair until I was 100% happy. It was everything I wanted and more. My makeup was done by Asia. She was also equally as fabulous. Again wouldn't let me leave till I was 100% happy and with the hair it looked amazing!! So many compliments. They did my hair and makeup for the wedding and it was the best day. They definitely made my nightmare at spasation better. I will continue going there and love how personable that salon is. Everyone gets along with everyone. I've been coming here to see Naomi for just about a year now. For anyone who's moved cities you know how difficult it can be to find a stylist that meets your criteria! After my first visit I knew she was what I was looking for.She's meticulous, attention oriented and makes sure each and everyone of her clients leaves happy. She walks you through the process making sure you are both on the same page. This is a huge thing for me, so often this step is forgotten and I find that's where a lot of client stylist miscommunication happens. All the girls here are incredible no matter who you're booked into see you, won't be disappointed they all take the time to greet you as they pass and ask you multiple times during your visit if they can bring you anything (water,coffee,tea,magazines etc.) Highly recommend Vadara to anyone and everyone! read more

Obviously Roxy D has never really been to Vadara because that couldn't be further from the truth, in fact it's the exact opposite. It's sad because I actually spend time to make reviews so others have a real experience to base their desicions off of. Then someone just joins 0 other reviews 0 friends and puts a bad review to knock down their rating. I use yelp to try new places and it's sad I have to examine all of the users reviews to see if they are a negative Nancy just out hating! I looked at all the reviews that were not recommended and went to Vadara over a year ago. I go regularly and absolutely love the girls. This salon really knows what they are doing. The nail techs know what they are doing and they really take care and are so friendly and kind. The nail tech I had, Tamara ( I think thats how you spell it) was kind and she explained everything as we went, and she obviously had experience. She was so friendly and I really felt at home there and she made conversation instead of most other places where you are just sitting in silence. The prices are expensive, but DEFINITELY worth it. I suggest getting dropped off by a friend, as there is paid parking. I will definitley be coming back. This place is by far, the best nail salon I've ever been to. I hadn't had a haircut in 6 years and decided to splurge and go for a completely different look and saw the great reviews Vadara had. I phoned for an appt and was shocked they could fit me in the next day. My stylist was Niaomi and I couldn't have been happier. My husband loved my new look as do I. I love Vadara and the girls that take care of me. Michelle does my hair and I am always getting compliments on the color and am being told how healthy and shiny it looks. Megan did a great job with my recent mani/pedi and the 'shellac' is holding up great even after cleaning and gardening. My husband and I have also been meeting with the personal trainer and are seeing amazing results. this salon is the absolute best salon I have ever tried. The stylists are great, the people are friendly and they truly want to know your name and how you are doing! I see michelle normally for hair but if she is busy or booked up, they refer me to another stylist that is more than capable of helping me. Vadara, is an fantastic place. I see Shelley for my waxing and pedicures and Asia is an excellent brow girl. Every time I go in I feel like they know me, like I am family. The quality of work is excellent. Everyone is professional and focuses on doing any job over and above what you would expect. I recently visited Vadara for a hair cut. I was very impressed that they tried to accommodate me immediately for a walk in. Beth gave me a great hair cut, and spent extra time making sure that it was exactly how I liked it! No rush rush service here, she sincerely wanted to do a good job and make sure I was 100% happy before se let me out of the chair. Decided to try them out based on the reviews I saw. I was very happy that I did. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. I originally made the appointment for a color and cut an then they were able to squeeze in a waxing while my colour set. Yes it's probably a bit pricey but so worth it. Kudos to Snow who did a wonderful job on my hair and to Asia (?) who did the waxing. Will definitely go back! read more
