After some water damage in my condo's kitchen, I was connected with Dillon through the water mitigation company. I couldn't be more happy with their work and professionalism. This easily could've been a huge headache to deal with as this was an insurance claim, but Dillon went above and beyond when directly dealing with my insurance in order to get the necessary repairs made. Prompt and fully transparent communication made this whole process so smooth and I couldn't be more grateful for that. His team did wonderful work installing my cabinets, countertops, appliances and lighting. They came back without any hassle to take care of some detail work in order to make sure everything was done to perfection. Thanks so much Dillon and Winnco!

Creative Innovation was consulted to do a whole house remodel. From start to finish, they were amazing to deal with. Everything is legit and every single person we dealt with was trustworthy. Thats something hard to find. Every hidden issue we found, they worked with us and were very accommodating. They also have an amazing network of vendors to get what we needed. We now have our forever home. Thank you so much Shlomi, Ozzie and team.

I got about five bids for my whole-house remodel, and Creative Innovation Developers stood out for…read moretheir great communication and solid references. Their pricing was comparable to others, but the ability to visit their in-progress projects gave me confidence. I'm very very particular, and while no remodel is perfect, Creative worked to bring my vision to life. My advice: plan everything in detail beforehand--or hire a designer. To save costs, I handled all the design myself while working full-time, which was highly stressful. Having everything mapped out helps avoid delays, last-minute changes, or compromising on your vision. Golan and Jordan were fantastic--Golan handled planning and communication, and Jordan ensured everything stayed on track. They always responded to my texts in a reasonable amount of time. Their tile crew was exceptional (I often bumped into them because they worked long hours and weekends to complete my home and were really nice and respectful people), and they tiled nearly my entire house beautifully (we're talking 2000 sq ft of flooring, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace). I appreciated that Creative didn't nickel and dime me for small changes, and when a gas leak was discovered (due to careless cabinetry work), they fixed it--and more (we found more leaks during the repairs)--without extra charges. Despite delays beyond their control, they completed the full renovation in about six months--from pulling permits to final inspection. Major work included a new kitchen, three bathrooms, tile flooring throughout, interior paint, a new electrical panel, and whole-house LED recessed lighting. Even after the job was done, they returned to fix small issues without hesitation. That kind of follow-up is rare in a world full of disappearing contractors. I would recommend Creative for any remodeling project, big or small.

(Note: The furniture bar cabinets and library were added later on and were not part of this contractor's project). From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. Additionally, all of the finishes--from the drywalling to the trim work and paint--were done with high-quality materials and top-tier craftsmanship. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend them!

I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. Elba was fabulous and fast with permits, a purchase list and provided weekly job schedules and updates. I have now completed this remodel and I can't be happier. My Preferred Builders team was pure gold! I highly recommend Nir, Elba and Orel, the Foreman. Orel was caring and his experience was invaluable, Roman, (drywall, moldings, paint, flooring) Carlo (beautiful tile work) and Abnir were all professional, caring and kind. My remodel was reasonable and fast. I definitely recommend Preferred and I already have.

Adam visited my property and spent almost an hour mapping out the entire floorplan and created a detailed plan of attack - all free of charge!!! He carefully measured whether the floor was uneven using a laser, took numerous photos of the areas of concern in the crawl space (wearing a full hazmat suit, goggles, and a high-end face mask), and patiently answered all of my questions. I had another vendor visit the property, and he only spent 3 minutes poking his head around - he did not even enter the crawl space! Therefore, it was an easy choice to go with Sunshine. I felt comfortable enough with Adam to ask him to visit my parents' home for a possible retrofit. Unfortunately, this structure does not have a crawl space / cripple walls and thus is not able to be retrofitted. I feel very comfortable in recommending Adam for other projects, and I look forward to engaging with Sunshine again soon. Thank you, Adam!!

I moved to southern California from the east coast 12 years ago. I'm retired, so I had the freedom and luxury of comparison shopping for a 55+ apartment. A friend recommended La Graciela and gushed a bit as she described the look and feel of 101 Park Avenue in San Fernando. I quickly made an appointment to see the apartment unit, the grounds, and amenities of La Graciela. That was ten years ago. This review is way overdue! I saw and learned enough about La Graciela during my tour to know it was a place I could call home for years. I was right! But let me tell you what you cannot know unless you've lived here for the past ten years. Aszkenazy Development, in the persons of Severyn, Martha, and their amazingly responsive team, has set the bar high in championing the needs of residents. I assume this is also true of other apartment dwellings under the Aszkenazy umbrella. When COVID hit and vaccines were recommended, medical professionals were brought to our Club Room to offer residents a choice between Pfizer and Moderna. They were brought back for the recommended second round of vaccines. Maintenance personnel power-wash the interior and exterior of our building. The laundry room is cleaned regularly to promote the health and wellbeing of residents. Trash bins were replaced to accommodate the ability of senior residents to lift the dumpster lids and deposit trash without stress or strain. A digital marquee was installed in our lobby to announce important information. Security-rich front doors were installed to promote our safety. The pièce de résistance is the recent installation of LiftMaster, a video console, to allow us to see visitors before allowing them into the building. Most of these amenities were provided to LA Graciela residents during the apartment rent increase freeze. Take a moment to consider that! Who would do that? We contacted Victor at City Builders on Yelp based on excellent reviews before giving up and Moses came out for the estimate. Instead of trying to sell us something overly expensive for what we thought we wanted, he took the time to show us several indoor options to create an indoor laundry area at a fraction of the cost. We were so enthused at having room left in our budget that we expanded the project to convert our older electric cooktop to a new gas cooktop. We had a quote in hand the next day, and he was able to start work the following week. All the new water and gas lines, appliance installations, drywall work and touch up were done faster than expected. The finished work is amazing, and we were extremely impressed. We know picking the right contractor is difficult, and there's a lot on the line. What they delivered was unsafe, defective work and months of stress. After the job was completed, I had two independent licensed gate and fence professionals inspect the installation. Both found serious safety and code violations. The gate-operator entrapment safety device was bypassed and left sitting under the operator instead of being installed properly. The pedestrian gate near my pool was not self-closing or self-latching as required by California law -- leaving me exposed to serious liability and potential injury to anyone on my property. On top of the safety issues, the fence and gate assembly were fabricated about a foot too short, leaving large gaps under several panels that a person can crawl under. Instead of correcting the mistake, City Builders added "patch" pieces to hide it. Welds were missing or only tacked in multiple spots, posts were visibly extended with seams, and the gate operator was anchored with undersized hardware with exposed wiring pushed into the dirt. I sent City Builders detailed defect reports and photos -- including the findings from both independent inspectors. Rather than owning the problems and presenting a clear remediation plan, they dismissed my concerns as an "inflated scope," made partial repair attempts that made some things worse, and walked away leaving me to cover the cost of proper repairs. I have filed a formal complaint with the Contractors State License Board with full documentation. If you care about safety, code compliance, and accountability, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere.

I said I don't want hypothetical from the state, I interested to know how you build your homes. He basically told me that this wasn't his responsibility, the factory builds the home to code, and I should check online with State's guidelines. Since he cannot tell me anything about how his company builds their homes or address any of my issues, I will not be using him. This is a shocking contrast to another company I spoke to that told me exactly how the home is constructed and how they address these issues and why they don't have them.
