I placed a delivery order with Brickhouse tonight. The hostess was incredibly sweet and professional taking my order, and payment was processed without issue. Shortly after, I missed a call from the restaurant--they were calling to let me know they don't actually offer delivery and the order was taken in error. Here's where it gets remarkable: By the time I called back, they had already decided to personally deliver my order anyway to honor the commitment and avoid inconveniencing us. This wasn't about convenience for me (normally I would have just driven over to pick it up), but my car is currently out of commission. And here's the part that truly stands out: Perry, the owner himself, personally delivered our order. Not a staff member. Not a manager. The owner took time out of his evening to make sure we were taken care of. What impresses me most is that they didn't have to do this. They could have simply refunded the order and apologized. Instead, Perry chose to go above and beyond--not because they offer delivery service (they don't), but because he valued the customer relationship and his word. This review isn't about the food. This review isn't about delivery service (because they don't deliver--and that's perfectly fine). This is about a restaurant owner who understands customer service, integrity, and building loyalty at a fundamental level. This was my first time going here, so that matters a lot to me. As for the food, I ordered a House Platter for myself and a Steak Tip Salad for my wife, side of garlic bread. The service was fast (15min) and the food is fresh and delicious! My wife is happy, and I'm enjoying everything on the plate, I'm grateful for all the sauces thrown in too.
