I must say the service here has changed drastically during my last few visits, in a good way! Not sure if management changed or employees were re-trained or maybe new staff. But I used to DREAD when my kids would ask for wingstop because in the past, I've placed orders on the app & they had me wait 20-30 minutes even longer when I showed up. Like they hadn't even started making my food until I walked in to pick up my order (happened several times). The last few visits, placed my order on the app, walked in and they were packing everything up. I always get greeted when I walk in and employees are much friendlier. Absolutely terrible service came in and they told me it would be a 40 minute wait for my wings that is crazy when I am literally in person ordering she said it was because they had a lot of online orders. there was at least 15 staff members in the back don't know why they couldn't of made eight wings for me in less than 40 minutes. read more

I explained that I do not order often but appreciated the offer and that I would agree. So today, I called to "redeem" the offer and the manager on duty could not locate my "credit". After a long day shopping for groceries, I decided to place an online order for pick up. They had a great deal going on most likely in honor of their grand opening! It was 16 boneless wings, 6 tenders, 3 dipping sauces and 1 large fry for $19.99. So take advantage of this deal while you can! I chose Lemon pepper and Mango habanero for my tenders. My choices for the boneless wings were Hawaiian and Louisiana rub. When I arrived the workers were friendly and attentive. I loved that! I used to live in Uptown Whittier and the location over there also had a great team. Now that I live in East Whittier again, I am so glad this Wingstop location will be just as pleasing to come to. After a long day at work I decided to stop by target while deciding what I wanted to eat. I have not had wings in such a long time so I decided to go to Wingstop. Something felt off as soon as I walked in. The employees in the kitchen were standing around and mind to you there was 3-4 kitchen staff and someone who seemed like the km. I waited 20 minutes for my food which wasn't the problem, I kept seeing staff give food to a female and she kept asking for more food and I don't think she paid for anything! As soon as I got home with my order I was excited to eat my food but the mild wings had absolutely no flavor and the lemon pepper had no flavor what so over too. I tried eating my wings but honestly couldn't. They were overcooked and just not seasoned right. After everything I saw and heard here I really think this company needs more secret shoppers. So this location is always backed up so I usually order ahead of time to help alleviate the wait time. That being I placed an order tonight about 9pm when estimated about a 15-20 wait time. Got to the restaurant as it said my order was completed at 922p. When I gave my order for pickup I was told that my order wasn't up yet and would be a minute. I mentioned that I got an alert that my order was already completed to which the worker responded that those alerts are always off. It is now 930... 940... almost 950 and I ask politely where my order was to which he responded what was my name. He then turns and my order had been sitting on the pick up rack for at least 15 minutes. I asked why my name wasn't called to which he could only reply sorry. Unbelievable. No sense of urgency or accountability whatsoever. Food is consistently 9/10 but service is consistently a 5/10 at best. The worst experience interacting with a cashier employee...the most rude individual performing such a position I have ever interacted with...where is the proper hiring and training? My family and I have been consistent customers for a long while at this location...food great...service not so much, but never this bad. Employee could not understand simple ordering of items...repeatedly getting the information and order wrong...and after we attempted to just get an order placed, she abruptly walked away from the cash register and yelled out to co-workers in the kitchen, in front of multiple customers waiting in line "I'm not going to take this order". Oh my goodness...how dare she do and say what she did...the most offensive and unprofessional behavior I have witnessed in such an establishment. Wingstop should be ashamed to have any employee representing their business who is completely incapable of properly serving customers. We were forced to walk away in extreme embarrassment, with me verbally stating how incredibly rude her behavior was. The manager came over to the cash register and did not even bother to stop us and ask what happened, just staring as my family was forced to leave. I wasn't a customer today, but I was delivering food. I never usually write reviews on how I pick up food from restaurants but this was the most horrible customer service I have encountered picking up food. I come in and say the name I'm picking up for, and the worker was a women with glasses and she gave the worst attitude possible. Not only did she give a face when I picked up the food, she practically said in a rude tone the drinks I needed to pour and she threw the drink carrier at me. After she mentioned the order was the second order, I ended up waiting 30 minutes while they called 7 other people before me. Just know I'm a Uber eats driver I make money based off orders not hourly. Anyways at the end I'm not sure how wing-stop hires or trains there associates but she had horrible customer service. read more
