We hot to try local restaurant this weekend and definitely did not disappoint. Wings were so big and full of sauce Mac and cheese was different than we have ever tried and coleslaw was refreshing to eat with a sweet contrast. Definitely will go back and try new flavors since they have so many options im curious to taste. The Chef was super nice and welcoming made us feel right at home the minute we walked in.
Chef Ronald is such a warm owner/chef! From the moment my friend and I walked in it felt so homey. He made sure to welcome my friend and I to his home, his restaurant from the breakdown of the seemingly large, almost intimidating, menu to the story of his restaurant. Much appreciated that a lot. 11/05/23 1:15pm We originally tried the 12 Wing Combo with Ginger Honey Soy and Sweet Chili wings and Fries which was AMAZING! We clean it to the bone maybe ate a bit of the bone cause it was so good! Best wings I've ever had with astronomical proportions AND everything is fresh! Same day we had to come back for dinner. So we head over back here around 7ish. This time we had tried the 24 Wing Combo with Mole, Adobo and Lemongrass, side of Jalapeño Poppers, Watermelon Tea and Brown Sugar Milk tea. And chatted more with Chef Ronald til closing and had the opportunity to try some secret item. (Shhhh... it's worth it! Be on the lookout for it) Best flavor we tried so far is the Vietnamese Lemongrass!!! A MUST!! TD;LR Best Wings, Great Environment, Awesome Energy and Service, Great Staff!! Definitely coming back as much as possible!!
In the SGV I'm always looking for unique restaurants that can offer a few dishes I can't get anywhere else. Well, the salted shrimp was that dish. I grew up eating this in almost every Chinese Restaurant you can think of, but the difference for me, what the spices this chef used. They had their own cajun rub, with a hint of sweetness and my god, the size of the shrimp is a plus too. I would say, the kung pao flavored wings was a bit disappointing because it purely had a salty soy sauce flavor. It needed sweetness and some heat to balance the flavor out, but my wife loved all the 3 other flavored we tried. They were the coca cola, lemon pepper, and their signature fusinon- x hot wings. The owner was a friendly man, who cared about his customers. I would highly recommend giving this a try if you're a fan of wings and want to venture out to try new flavors.
Found this cute little fusion place on yelp. Perfect because I was craving fusion food. I ordered over the phone and they told my it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. The parking lot is pretty small, but there's not many businesses anyways. The store is pretty small, I don't think they have dine-in. The people at the front were super sweet. They asked where we found this place through & we said yelp so if you're reading this, the food was great!!! My dad and I checked-in through yelp to get free sodas. I got Dr. Pepper and he got Sprite. They sealed our sodas in the boba cups so you definitely get a lot for something that's free! The only downside is the carbonation made the cups lopsided (you can see the top and bottom of the cup). Not a huge deal since it deflated once we put the straw in. The sprite doesn't have syrup or maybe it ran out? It tasted just like carbonated water. But the Dr. Pepper was good so I think it was just the sprite. The boba is also really good here!! Chewy in consistency. The food is also really good. Usually I hate getting takeout for wings because by the time I get home, it's soggy. But they didn't seal the boxes as they put it in the togo bag. This way it stayed crispy - LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!!! They were still hot AND crispy by the time I got home (~10-15 min or so). The popcorn chicken is so good for the price & amount. I wish I had asked them to season it with spice (like the boba stores). I've never had spicy lemon pepper wings before so I had to give it a shot. It has a kick to it which I like. The garlic parmesan wings were also really good! Neither the garlic nor the parmesan was overpowering. The beef chow fun was a bit on the blander side, but if you eat it with siracha/ wings you'll be fine. Overall, definitely would come back to try some more food/wings :) P.S. They also sell masks and hand sanitizers here!! Prices are in the pictures.
Ordered take-out and food was ready by pick up time. Randomly searched for wings and found this small little gem. It's located in a small plaza and inside the restaurant is very small. About 2-3 tables. But the spot looks like it's more for pick up/fast food. Owner and customer service was great! Parking: small parking lot or street parking Food: they had many wing flavors and we tried the lemon pepper, fusion, and salt and pepper. My favorite was the fusion wing, but will definitely be back to try more flavors! The chicken was tender and juicy and the skin had a good amount of batter to make it crunchy. Tater tots: these were surprisingly very good. I preferred them over the seasoned fries. The tater tots had a good crisp and had just the right amount of salt. It was still crispy even after it got cold.
This is a truly tiny wings place located in a tiny corner strip mall in Montebello. How tiny? Get the wings to go. There are some seats around a counter that can't be more than a few feet long and no room for more than one tiny table for a party of 3 or 4. It's really not set up for dining in at all. Which is the only bad part, because wings are best eaten fresh, especially if they have sauces on them, before they lose their crispiness and go mushy. They set up two tables for two out front, but with Summer coming, not sure how comfortable that will be. When we ate inside, it was near closing time, so they brought the two tables in. However, the A/C blows right on you, so they had to turn it off, which then made sitting inside too warm and uncomfortable. Trust me, just get the wings to go. Hopefully, you'll get home quickly. I guess they are under new management. This used to be a place that supposedly sold cheap wings and Chinese food. The Chinese food is gone. The cheap wings are also gone, replaced with locally sourced farm fresh chicken. You can tell the wings are high quality and not cheap frozen wings, like you get at Alondra or Wingstop. They are big and juicy without being those weird humongous wings some places give you that are clearly pumped full of hormones. The wings are great. We tried the regular buffalo, which were great. Then we had the mango habanero, which were spicy and tasty. Finally, we had the Bring The Heat wings, which are a dry rub and are similar in spice to Chongqing chicken. These were the biggest hit, but all three were really good. The seasoned fries were nice and crispy krinkle fries. To finish we got the churro donuts. The owner had raved about them, but we were less than impressed. The half of one I ate wasn't fully cooked, with some raw dough inside. More importantly, there was way too much of the sugary dusty coating on the outside. It was too much, and they were too sweet. Still, I will definitely go back for wings. They have some 20-30 flavors to choose from - a rather large menu - but I will be getting take out next time. Definitely give them a try.
I was in the mood for some good chicken wings. Had no clue this little gem was in my neck of the woods until I found it on yelp. We were helped right away. We didn't know what to order so we asked for some suggestions. We ended up ordering the spicy lemon pepper, Asian fusion original and the orange sauce chicken wings. They all jad a little kick to them but it wasn't overpowering. It was hard to pick a favorite. They were all so good. They flavors are well balanced and cooked to perfection. Presentation is also very nice. This is perfect for any occasion and the prices are reasonable. Give this place a try!
I came back here the second time with my friend and the wings did not disappoint. We got the 26 wings (spicy lemon pepper, jalapeño salt and pepper, and buffalo sauce). All the wings came out super crispy and big. We also got the Garlic Parmesan fries and the portion was huge! Did not expect that size (could probably feed 2-4 people). Definitely recommend and will come back here again. 10/10
Our first time trying Fusion Wings! We met Chef Ronnie, Awesome straight forward guy. If your a chicken wing lover you gotta come get these wings they're bomb! With a huge selection of flavors to choose from, your bound to find the flavor of your choice including great unique flavors that no one else has! Me and my wife got the 12 piece comb, 6pc wings Al a carte, pop corn chicken, Mac & Cheese wedge's (which my daughter loved), and for dessert we had an order of churro donuts. Everything was on point no complaints, our experience was full of fresh flavor and great customer service. Thank you Chef Ronnie for this great experience we will definitely be back see you soon!
I am only speaking for their popcorn chicken. It is a NO GO. There is absolutely no chicken whatsoever. This is the third time this has happened. Very disappointed.
What a nice treat to have come across this place. Highly recommend them. Their wings were DELICIOUS!!! They were so juicy. Tried 3 different flavors: teriyaki, lemon/pepper and sweet/spicy. Family loved the jumbo shrimp. Also tried their beef/broccoli but it is not worth raving about; wouldn't get it again. I can't wait to try something else. Definitely will be back. Tip: food is to-go. They don't have space for dining-in.
The wings here have great texture, are savory, and simply delicious. You can tell that the ingredients are fresh. They offer a variety of unique sauces for their wings. We tried the Vietnamese Lemongrass and Japanese Crunchy Garlic - both were excellent! The fries are very well seasoned also. Service was friendly and attentive. We look forward to coming back to try more flavors!
Incredible experience being around the noble staff that had a very listed menu of flavors and food creations I have never heard of before . I can tell you this restaurant brought to me happiness !
I was in the area volunteering for an organization with my kids and was looking for a place for lunch afterwards. Saw this place on Google maps and then yelped it to see what it had. Chinese food and wings... decision made. They currently have a special if you order off their website - $5 off $25 purchase. I got the boneless wings which are big chunks of chicken breast. They have a huge variety of sauces and rubs to choose from. My kids picked garlic parmesan and Fusion. I also picked up the chicken chow fun, orange chicken (I got the combo with fries and boba drink for $6 more), as well as the tots. The food was ready when we arrived. They have a few chairs and tables for indoor seating so we decided to dine in. Orange chicken was good - I actually bit into an orange peel which was a nice surprise. The chow fun could've used a bit more soy sauce, but otherwise it's a quality plate similar to other Chinese restaurants I go to. I wouldn't hesitate to order it again. The boneless chicken wings were tender and delicious. The two rubs I got were kind of similar in flavor so I couldn't really distinguish between the two. I'd try a wet sauce next time. Tots and fries were hot and crispy. The menu said the tots were spicy but they were just plain. I got the brown sugar milk tea with boba and that was really good! Boba was fresh and chewy and it was the perfect level of sweetness. The owner, Tay, is very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I was searching for lunch around Montebello area and I found Fusion Wings via Yelp with patrons enjoying this place, so I gave it a try. I love their concept with wings using Chinese-inspired sauces and seasonings, and serving traditional Chinese entrees and rice/noodle dishes. You can get your Chinese fast-food take out and wings craving from this one stop and you won't regret! I ordered for take out via their online website. They have a special deal right now! $5 off orders $25+ when ordering delivery or pick up via online. The prices were reasonable considering the serving portions are very generous. The service was also quick! My order was ready to pick up within 15 minutes and it was neatly packed. WHAT I ORDERED: 1. Spicy Orange Chicken ($11) - I ordered thinking it was going to taste like the typical orange chicken flavor like you get in other Chinese take out or the Panda one, but this one is with the red chili peppers (similar to the chili pepper used in kung pao chicken) and ORANGE PEEL! The traditional way to make orange chicken. The flavors mixed so well together and it is not overly sweet and tangy, but a wonderful blend of sweet, salty and spicy! It comes with a side of white rice. Highly recommend! 2. 12 PC Chicken Wings (Traditional) ($14) - You can order boneless for the same price, but I went with traditional with the bone-in. I ordered Garlic Soy (wet) and Spicy Lemon Pepper (dry). The garlic soy flavor is not like the ones you get at Korean chicken wing places, but it's the Chinese style, which was packed with soy sauce flavor. I thought I liked this flavor better, but as I tasted a second piece of the Spicy Lemon Pepper, I gravitated more towards the dry rub. It was not potent with lemon pepper but more of the spicy seasoning. I enjoyed it still but I would give the other flavors a try because the two flavors weren't standing out. 3. Jumbo Shrimp ($7) - Four big pieces of fried jumbo shrimp (just like what you would get if you ever ordered from Ono Hawaiian). It came with a cocktail sauce but eeew, it did not taste right. I hope the store can improve on their sauce. Luckily, the fried shrimp tasted great without it. Although there were some smelly hints of the shrimp being almost left out for too long before being fried, but it happened to only 2 of the 4 shrimps. 4. Fried Zucchini ($4) - Plentiful as a shareable appetizer! I loved their fried zucchini, it was perfectly fried with dashes of their spicy seasoning on top. Inside, the zucchini was soft and I kept digging in the box for another piece. It's served with a subtle ranch sauce, which is good with or without. For just a little over $30, I enjoyed my meal from Fusion Wings very much! If I was in the area again, I would not mind coming to order. Give it a try and you will not be disappointed! read more

When I'm craving wings, Fusion Wings is my new go-to place. My favorite of all the flavors is the orange chicken wings. The orange flavor is not overpowering, even my super picky son loves it. It's sticky and the wings are still crunchy. If you're not in the mood for chicken, there are lots of other options like boba, fried rice, chow mein, chow fun, beef and broccoli, and their cajun shrimp is to die for. Try dipping the tater tots into the cajun sauce, you'll thank me later! I love supporting small businesses and you won't regret giving this small business a shot. read more

I had no idea all day of what I wanted for dinner and when I saw this bookmark of mine, suddenly I knew! 26 crispy traditional bone-in, orange sauce, original, and jalapeño salt and pepper, and vegetable chow mien. Hit the spot! Delivery was an hour or less, everything I needed was packed very nicely. I will definitely make this my fusion wing delivery choice! read more
Covid-19 takeout review. I found Fusion Wings from Yelp, read its wonderful reviews and forgot about it. Fast forward weeks later, I found it again on Yelp when my Zankou Chicken ran out of chicken. I know, right? How are you running out of chicken when your name is Zankou Chicken? I have never been a wing woman (pun intended), but I love wings when it comes to chicken. We just parked and were greeted right away by the worker/owner. He was very nice, patient and super helpful in taking our order. We ordered 12 pcs wings ($14.00) and shrimp fried rice for our dinner. Jalapeño, salt & pepper: the wings were super crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The flavor was good, but honestly it could use more salt, pepper and green onions. I found more jalapeño slices at the bottom of the box after I was almost halfway done. Orange sauce: I am not a fan of Panda Express, but I do like Panda's orange chicken. This orange sauce is different, but actually pretty good. I like its orange peel too. Shrimp fried rice ($10.00): I am not used to eating bean sprouts with my fried rice. Sorry! I mean it's added for crunch, but that's not for me. They did give us generous amount of shrimps. The wings were HUGE! I am talking about wings on steroid LOL I really liked the crispiness of the wings and decided to come back for more. Fusion Original: kinda salty and super crispy. I really liked this. I forgot to take pictures because I couldn't wait to eat my wings ;) Jalapeño, salt & pepper: I asked for more salt & pepper this time because it was a little bland the first time. The wings were perfect! Friendly service! I have no doubt they can easily expand after the pandemic. Based on my past Yelp experience, my predictions of small businesses are usually right :P QUICK TIP: RECEIVE FREE SODA WITH YELP CHECK-IN! 4 stars!! Don't know what to get for lunch/dinner? Im back in the game... Its rare to find a spot that gets better with consistency. As a result, your indulgence produces greater pleasure. There has been countless visits and I can't get enough of it! Wings may be as common on every menu, but Fusion Wings brings a distinct variety of flavors that stands out from the rest. At first bite, your palate is teased with a balance of flavorful sauce that does not compromise the crisp. Who loves a soggy wing? Hell naw! Deceptively simple and cooked perfectly. I was deeply impressed with the range of wings flavors available and plenty to sample. There are also a plethora of legit Chinese dishes made to order. Thats right, no heat lamps to point at. Its Ground Hog Day! Our go to's: Bomb-ass wings: Spicy Lemon Pepper Wings Orange Citrus Wings (BoOM!) I stopped by to pick up a quick lunch on a Friday and did not leave disappointed! After ordering my food, I was able to have a chat with Chef Ronnie and he is seriously passionate about his food! He told me about his culinary background, that he gets fresh wings delivered from a local farm every morning, and that he creates all his sauces in house with natural ingredients. It was so intriguing listening to him talk and you could definitely feel his love for food. I ordered a 12 wing combo, which includes 2 flavors, a side, and a Stubborn soda fountain drink. I opted for the classic lemon pepper and tried the Vietnamese lemongrass flavors for my wings. The wings were phenomenal! Lemon pepper is a classic flavor that you can't go wrong with. The Vietnamese lemongrass was uniquely savory and a bit spicy. My only critique is that it was a bit salty. However, you could definitely taste how fresh the chicken is and I loved that it stayed crispy! For my side, I decided to go with the fries and asked for them to be extra crispy. I loved the seasoning mixture they coat the fries with. It's seriously addicting! Next time you're craving wings, you should totally stop by Fusion Wings. Not only are the ingredients fresh, you'll also be supporting a local small business! I know I can't wait to come back to Fusion Wings to try their other abundant flavors! Tried 'this place I ordered some "Fun Chicken" wasn't my favorite because I'm not familiar with the fatter noodle, when placing my order the employee did explain what Fun was I had asked for there recommendation there most popular dish.. 2 very pleasant employees helped me with the menu. A gentleman behind me ordered a big variety of chicken wings family pack. It was his first time as well, After speaking with him I decided to add on some wings so happens my food was ready cooked fresh & ready to go the owner added. Drove past Fusion Wings and had to give it a try! This place is AMAZING. Wonderful mix of Asian cuisine and wings. I tried the Garlic Parmesan and the Orange Sauce wings and they were both really really good. Crunchy, moist, and savory. Everything you would want from a good wing spot! The owner(I think) was really nice and even gave us some drinks for being first timers! Very hospitable Highly recommend, would definitely come again!! You will not be disappointed read more
Was my 2nd dinner so only ordered the Fusion Hot, seven pieces. They told me it would take 15-20m! I was thinking, this is a good sign as I'm the only customer here so that means they make these wings fresh. And sure enough, about 15m later, the wings came out super hot! And they're tasty. Super crunchy and moist. Not spicy enough for me, though I added some hot sauce after taking them home. Definitely want to come back and try some other flavors. We purchased wings from Fusion Wings for a party and they were a success! Wings are super fresh, crispy and seasoned very well. We purchased the lemon pepper, orange sauce, kung pao and jalapeño salt and pepper wings. We also tried the egg rolls and some of the drinks, such as their milk tea, thai tea and coffee! Our first time here, and we enjoyed every bite. We ordered a 12 piece (2 flavors) combo. The combo come with a side and drink. We ordered Japanese Crunchy Garlic and Vietnamese Lemongrass wings and Buffalo fries. The wings had such a nice crunch to the bite, and the wing sizes are big. We will definitely be back. read more
