We usually order drinks and food and tip amazing ..over 100 for 2 every time. we are out in the patio today for the dodger game and we got no service... after 1 round they decided to ignore us. This was my first time here for lunch... When I sat down, Jose was my server. I ordered the steak lunch special. I asked for chips and salsa, but chips weren't ready yet, so he offered me carrots and dressing. Food was cooked to perfection. Rib Eye steak was cooked medium rare and tasted great. Vegatables were cooked al dente and seasoned wonderfully. Baked potato was cooked great too. Jose was an example of what a server should be.... Friendly, Polite, Always making sure I had what I asked for, and most importantly, he made sure my food was cooked as ordered. He always had a smile on his face, which made for a great lunch. Wow so many in restaurant they are two side of the restaurant one is the dining room and the other side is the bar and It's gets very loud. I was craving for wings and found a deal on Groupon for Mr. M. How more convenient can life be? We got there on a weekend night and it was kind of empty inside. They have a karaoke at the bar area but unfortunately the bar and restaurant are all connected openly. Be prepared for any kind of music and voice and stay strong. We ordered 24 wings with up to 4 different flavors, a medium supreme pizza, and a steak taters. Steak tater was done really well even though the meat was a little dry. The pizza tasted like something you could purchase from a frozen section in a grocery store. The wings had good flavor but the meat was considered too dry to be tender and too juicy to be crispy. Don't get me wrong, all the food were not bad but definitely not good either. Service was also OK. We were being checked on when needed but nothing out of the way excellent. Me and my sister went here for the first time to watch game 4 of the NBA finals. There was no wait time to seat. The waiter came up to us quick with our drink orders. He was really cool and patient. While we waited for our food they gave us chips and salsa. They accommodated us by putting the game on in 3 of their many tv screens they have. The food came out hot, fresh and ready. So easy to eat!! Wings are only $6 for 12 on Wednesday evenings. This is a great deal. The Greyhouse in Highland Park offers the same type of wings per pound and you get less than 12 wings. Also their hot sauce is GREAT! Really hot, but not too hot, vinegary and delicious! Order it extra crispy, which by the way they do perfectly! We got the LA hot, which is less spicy with a hint of garlic. Go for the hot wings. Also Alyssa was the nicest server. Went here the other night to watch the game. Nice big screen in the main dining area. Unbeknownst to me, they have a bar attached but separated by double doors so it's easy to miss. I didn't find it until the 4th quarter. We should have sat there. Ordered the sampler app plate- -zucchini - Soggy and oily -mozzarella sticks - okay -potato skins - best item -chicken wings- dry and overcooked. -potato wedges-okay Beer on tap was good. My sister-in-law ordered 6 boneless wings and they were good too but she ordered hers hotter than the bone-in wings. We ordered a couple of beers and when my wife tried to order a drink, she asked if it was made with tequila, which she cannot drink. The girl told her that all the drinks were made with Tequila because they had no other alcohol. I assumed she meant that they were made with wine and I was correct. My wife ended up ordering the Mango Margarita [wine-based] and it was really good but I was surprised the girl did not know that they were using wine at the bar. This is very much like an Alondra Hot Wings, but since Alondra collapsed quality-wise last year, I guess this is a little better. I still am not sure if I would return. First of all, the restaurant is only half completed. The second half, including the bar is still just being installed and built. The server was a bit green at waiting, but she did aim to please and was friendly enough. In fact, they let me sample any sauce I wanted. I tried all but the orange ginger and the honey mustard. That means I got to try the Hot sauce (like regular buffalo wing sauce but not exactly right), the house spices (which tasted like a Mexican influenced bbq sauce (not great), the spicy bbq (which was almost like Alondra's), the spicy teriyaki (which was not spicy at all and tasted like most wing places that are not Japanese - like bottled teriyaki sauce), and the chipotle (which was okay but had way too much vinegar). The only sauce that blew me away and I loved was the habanero. It's the spiciest sauce they make (which is saying something as all but the Teriyaki was flaming hot spicy), but it had a nice sweetness that balanced it out and was terrific. I liked this sauce a lot. I ordered six wings with classic hot sauce (which were hella spicy and crispy). I had ordered all my wings extra crispy. They were decent. I got six wings with habanero, and was only disappointed that these wings were not extra crispy. I also ordered a six piece boneless wings with no sauce and used the dipping sauces I was already given to try to sample away. The boneless wings are like little high quality chicken nuggets. High quality white meat, not greasy, and tasty. I would get these for my son, if I took him here. Other than that, they are only serving beer and wine till they get the bar open. Went there with a positive perspective. The bar service was decent. The crowd, for not being very busy was loud, rude and slightly "ghetto." Not everyone, but can tell the bar tends to fill up with those who've been refused service at neighboring bars. There is a wide selection of food options, price is decent and the taste was ok. Would recommend sitting in the dining area unless you're willing to banter with the mindless at the bar. Side Note: on my second and last visit I'll ever be taking at this place, I was verbally assaulted by a woman who already had a bit too much to drink at the bar. The staff did nothing about it.
