The purple rice blend was a nice change, the kalbi was flavorful without being too sweet, and the Portuguese sausage was perfect. The owner Tim grew up in Hawaii, and you can taste that influence in the food. Like him, we also grew up in the Pacific Islands, so we really appreciated the familiar flavors and how well they were done. He was also very friendly, and the portions were huge. The cabbage/greens combo was delicious but the Mac and cheese was lacking a little flavor. The muffin was soft, sweet and flavorful. The meal was reasonably priced. The restaurant ambiance is customer friendly and the meat is made to order. The menu has some great items on the menu. This is a great place to go for a delicious and filling meal.
