A wonderful lunch spot in Commerce. Highly recommend the "beauty salad." $15 and packed full of delicious vegetables, chicken, avocado, beans--everything--and I got it with the cilantro lime sauce and it was so fresh and filling. Honestly you can probably eat it for two meals (I split it with my husband) and then we bought another one on our way out for dinner tonight. I've driven past this food court before not knowing much. I have been craving a salad and found this spot on yelp and decided to go since it's so close to my office. I will be frequenting here! $13 for a large Beauty salad without onions or raisins. I got my dressing on the side but they will toss it as well. This thing is HUGE! OMG! 1st time. This was one of the biggest salads we've seen and loved. We ate all of it! I totally forgot to take pictures. We were starving. They have a large variety to choose from. We ordered the #13/Spinach salad with chicken. Not only was the salad great, the baked potato was fantastic! Another item with variety. We had the BBQ chicken. It's huge! Amazing salad for the price! I came during the lunch hour rush and this place was the second busiest, which is always a good sign. I asked for a recommendation, and they told me the beauty salad was the most popular. I placed my order, and it was ready within 2-3 minutes. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seats. The salad includes a pre-set ingredient list except for your choice of dressing. I asked for thousand island, and they seem to have at least 5 difference choices. My salad was a great combination of sweet and salty. The ingredients from what I can remember were lettuce, broccoli, sunflower seeds, red onion, celery, tomatoes, cucumber, chick peas, kidney beans, and raisins. At least 3-4 items on that list are on my dislike list. However, they melded together to create a symphony of flavors and textures. The raisins gave a burst of sweetness that complimented the acidity of the dressing and tomatoes. The chick peas and beans gave a much needed creaminess after crunching down on the broccoli, red onion, celery, and cucumber. The ingredient list is long, but they come together so perfectly. The salad was delicious and left me not feeling heavy, even though the portions were huge. I will be coming back to try the other 30 salads they offer. read more

The service is horrible and they are rude! My coworkers and I ordered lunch over the phone they said 20 minutes. We arrived in 10, made a long line and when we get to the front they tell us the order is not ready so they have us step aside. They helped the rest of the customers about 8-10 people and still the orders weren't ready. One of us cancelled our order they didn't apologize on the contrary they tried to argue the 20 minutes. DONT PREORDER!!! For being a fast food place in a busy industrial area, they could have thought of a better solution! read more

Today I got the #16 salad- shrimp and advocado. Sounds good huh? Well, I've had better salads at low budget burger stands! The salad came in a large plastic container- lettuce, celery, a few pieces of tomato, dried out slices of carrot, sliced advocado and tiny cheap pre-cooked (previously frozen ) shrimp. I opted for the cilantro lime dressing which was pretty good and it came with pita bread. When I first started eating I thought it was pretty good. But my taste buds became bored. What about some cheese, croutons, onion, bell pepper and most importantly REAL SHRIMP! I thought it would come with large fresh shrimp (btw, a coworker picked up my lunch so I didn't see it being made ). So I don't think I'll be coming back here. There are really not too many healthy places to eat in the surrounding area. So it was great to see a salad place not too far from my work. Each salad is about $8 but the portions are very large. The lines can get long but they are very quick. I usually get the caesar salad with an extra side of dressing. Oh man this is totally a vegan joint. I just paid 8 bucks for a ham and cheese sandwich and the meat was rotten. Everyone must be just eating the pasta. That ham had a stank on it and slime. Im changing my review to TWO STARS because they're money hungry and now very selfish. They always have one greedy rude person there. I usually order the pasta salad and gone are the days where the salad was super big now it's only moderately big which means they are just being selfish, on top of that there are no substitutions and I always put beets in my salad and I was just told that if I wanted beets I would have to give them another $0.75. This after it's already and $8 solid?! No way! That's the last straw for me and why I'm writing this review. I've had problems the last few times I've gone in. They're trying to charge me higher prices for a salad I've had for years! They just have no shame. Plus I found a hair in my salad once! I don't usually have high hopes for a food court salad restaurant in the middle of Vernon but the Garden Spot is decent enough. Huge salads (mostly consisting of lettuce) for about $8 a pop. I give this place 3 stars because it helps with my diet. There is an asian lady there that sometimes gets my order wrong and charges for EVERYTHING including an extra side of the watered down salad dressing (yes...watered down. The dressing used to stick to the lettuce, but now drains right to the bottom. I can tell it is getting more and more watery; I am on to you!). And there is this weird particle dusting all over all of my salad and lettuce. When this place used to be at the Citadel, it never had any of that and I always order the same thing. I wish this place was still at the Citadel...so sad I now have to deal with this one. And please, please, please check your lettuce before serving. I understand that you probably mix the old with the new - but after many instances of getting that fermented, old, slimy piece of lettuce near my mouth I spent a huge amount of time picking through every salad and eventually I couldn't stand the need to and quit going. Lastly, parking is a hassle. the lot fills up during lunch hours so it is hard to find a spot during that time. read more

Eureka! This place is exactly what I've been longing to find! Where can I get a salad that doesn't have gross freezer bite on its leafy greens like subway and can satisfy every tastebud? This place is located inside the Commerce Food Plaza, better known as the "Food Court". They make fresh "gourmet" salads, baked potatoes and wraps. You can choose from about 28 different gourmet salads from their menu or you can have one made to order with all the toppings and fixings you like. All salads come with pita bread and your choice of dressing. I think the prices are decent and the service was good. I ordered the pineapple chicken salad. Pretty tasty. My only complaint is the chicken. I personally don't like frozen chicken strips in my salad. Next time I'll order sans the chicken. read more

I really like this spot for lunch! It's nearby my work and the salads are always massive. It gets really busy between 11:30-1:30 since it's lunchtime for all of the surrounding places of work, but the workers are usually really nice and they have a lot of different options for your salad.
