This was our first time ever ordering from here so I really didn't know much, Nelsy was our cashier and she went above and beyond to explain to us the menu and was just overall so patient so kind and so welcoming. It was a little wait time but that always good because the food was fresh and hot , and she gave us extra fries which was just so nice and thoughtful. I was able to try them and they were really good and well seasoned! We got her food to go so we didn't dine in. Overall my daughter enjoyed her meal. read more

This was the most horrible experience I have ever had in a food establishment. Now, obviously it was Super Bowl Sunday, I expected them to be busy. What I did NOT expect, was they they would have literally NO plan to prepare for the increase in business. When I arrived at 6:30p to pick up the order that I placed HOURS in advance, there were nearly 75 people inside, a mob of people, all angry and confused. I would have at least expected a manager near the door greeting customers to let them know what was going on, but no. You had to FIGHT your way through the crowd to try and find out what was going on. Turns out, they were running close to 2 hours behind schedule. Never did I get an alert of anything about my order running late. They were frantically calling out names of orders, and people were just grabbing without any verification if it was even their order. You had literally no idea when to expect your order to be called so you had no choice but to wait. I was standing next to people who had been waiting almost 2 hours at that point. I made it 90min before I just left, EMPTY HANDED, so that I could quickly find somewhere else to get food for the 7 teenage boys that were at my house to watch the game. I am honestly astonished, they had all year to plan for this day and with a bit of logistical preparation they could have easily delighted customers instead of having ZERO plan and undoubtedly pissing off a massive amount of customers last night. To top it all off, I will have to take time out of my day to call the store and try to fight for refund. read more

Highly disappointed yet again at the Aspen Hill location! The quality of food & service has gonna to shit! Let's start from the beginning when I called in, gave them my name & SPELLED it. (They still transcribed it incorrectly) mid way throw the conversation for my order, whoever was on the phone put me on the hold n I heard him start taking an order from someone else at the location. So someone else picks up & we start the conversation & order all over again. Again I spelled my name out and asked for wings to be separated by flavor not combined in the same container as my mother-in-law can NOT do the seasonings and flavors because of how salty it is for her taste. Listen I spend alittle less than $100 of a meal for my family after a long days work to my son screaming wit discuss as he takes a bit of a drumstick having a long piece of hair wrapped within the chicken! Of course that would make anyone lose their appetite!! Again 100 dollars worth of food! Who wants to just waste the food n hard earn money?! At this point I call and ask for a manager with the person who answered the phone. The person who answers says "yea that's me" I again asked if he was the manager on duty & he says YEA like it was a problem I asked again or I confirmed with a slight irritation in his voice. So I asked for his name because he didn't offer it, then addressed him by name. This location is the worse! I went to get wings for a function at school and it was supposed to open at 11:00. I arrived at 10:55 and waited as the employs sat around a table eating until 11:10. Came here for lunch and I like the place. I put in my order online (5 mild boneless wings and fries) and it said it would take 16-21 minutes. I work about a 5 minute walk away so I waited about 5 minutes then proceeded to head over there. When I got there I figured I was gonna be waiting another 5 or so minutes because I was early but to my surprise they had just finished my order. The wings were good and so were the fries. Well the fries could have been cooked a little more well done but I'm pretty sure that's a personal taste thing (I like 'em crispy!). I have read the reviews, and since I've got time, figured I'd wait and hope the food was good, as I see how dismal the customer service is reviewed. I wasn't disappointed right off the bat. I asked her what her favorite was while I was pondering what I needed first, atomic, Cajun, garlic Parmesan,it's too much. Her response was short and simple "I don't like this place at all actually." She said if she had to choose, lemon pepper, of course that would be my least favorite, which I said, and ordered atomic. My wings came out in ten minutes, but my wings had the much despised lemon pepper. She happily took them back, and I got my wings back- with an extra, now atomic lemon pepper, or so they say. I just ate my atomic a and barely broke a sweat- I remember them being hotter. What really surprised me was how much lemon pepper I tasted- over atomic? How does that happen? I don't think I'd ever gotten the fries as I'm normally not a fry guy. This time I made the mistake of doing so. I don't like this style of fry at all, but if you like the five guys type fries, you should love these, they are done right and you get a ton of them. Ordered takeout pizza. The size was great. I ordered large and it was nice and large. The crust and the toppings were well prepared and tasted fine. The cheese was way too salty, though. So much that I had to struggle to eat two slices, when I was hungry enough for at least three. If they cut way back on the salt, the pizza would be pretty good. The other problem was the service. Asked for thick crust and got normal. No big deal, but when I asked about it I got a blank stare. No comment, excuse, or apology. Just silence and a blank stare. Let me preface by saying I'm an avid Wing Stop fan. I've actually never had any issues with any location (in DC or out of state) until yesterday. At approximately 8:30p, I called in a simple order of two (2) ten count - by the piece - bone in wings. I was told 20 minutes. I had a 15 minute drive. Upon arrival, the establishment is not packed. The phone was super busy but not uncommon for a Friday evening. No issues there. I came in, spoke to the young lady working the cash register and phone, and paid for my order. There was only one person in front of me. The staff in the back were diligently working. The orders were getting completed and sitting on the counter awaiting for the lady and the register to hand out the orders. Now here is when it went south: Come to find out, my order had been waiting on the counter for an additional 15 minutes after preparation. How do I know? Because the lady at the register gave the order away in front of mine to her personal friend and completely DISREGARDED the next order. How do I know he was a personal friend? She had a LENGTHY conversation with him after giving him the order. She even went to the back to prepare his carrots and preceded to have another conversation with him there at the register. There was not one concern for the last remaining order which was mine. Then the phone starts to ring, she ends her conversation, and then she completely forgets about my order. I get up from the bench and stand in front of her for an additional 10 minutes before she even acknowledged me. She hangs up the phone and asks to take my order. WHAT?! I inform her she's not only already taken my order it I've been waiting for an additional 20 minutes. She then turns around and looks at the order that has been sitting there and hands it to me. I'm pissed beyond pisstivity at this point and ask her did she literally just overlook my order for 20 entire minutes. She had no response. Not even a sorry. UNACCEPTABLE! I will NEVER return to this location. As much as I love wing stop, this location will never get my patronage nor any of my huge personal and professional networks. I implore all m Yelpers and Yelp Eliters to never visit here. Customer Service is not a concern for them and we all deserve better. They were slammed with a bunch of orders but this is normal for a Wingstop so taking normal food safety precautions shouldn't be a problem when busy specially for a restaurant of this scale. WOULD NOT recommend this location! I love Wingstop but this location has TERRIBLE customer service. I placed an online carry out order with them today and the pick up was terrible. my pick up time was 1:06 but my son was hungry as well so I stopped at McDs on the way to wing stop hoping it would be a quick in and out. I arrived at 1:14. when I arrived to wingstop there were about 5 employees just sitting in the back huddled up laughing not working at all. not one greeted me when I walked in the door and it took for their conversation to be finished to even acknowledged that I was there. I told them the name on my order for pick up and the order wasn't ready and they find my ticket and claimed their printers were down. However I saw two other tickets sitting at the pass waiting to be made. they did not even start frying my wings. at this point I'm in a rush to get back to work and don't have time to wait another 25 mins So I requested a refund. A male employee shouted to me that I had to cancel the order myself which I knew I couldn't do. So then a female employee used a laptop to complete my refund. While I was waiting I notice the male employee on his phone and he showed the woman employee that was doing my refund. after they looked at his phone, both looked up at me and laughed. I don't believe they knew I witnessed the whole thing. in the end I did get the refund however this review is simply for their employees customer service. I would have been okay with waiting for my wings if it was busy but not when I walk in and see every employee doing absolutely nothing. I felt very uncomfortable with the male employee he Seemed hostile towards me. Ordered Doordash via Thighstop and my order quoted that it would be ready in 20 minutes so I decided to tend to other errands in the shopping center and arrive a few minutes after my order was to be ready. Upon arrival a few customers were waiting in the eating area so I approached the counter to and noticed 6-8 employees in the kitchen chatting...nobody at the counter. I look at my watch just to see how long until I am approached...this is normal for this location. The guy leaves and heads to the back she then looks at receipts for orders then goes to dosomething else. Ok 6 minutes in and she comes over asks me if If I'm there to order. I give her my name and she hands me a bag. This location is terrible...I had a gift card that I couldn't use due to another mishap at this location and I ordered Thighstop but I was hoping the service third time around would be different. Nope. Let's not even discuss the baby thighs and pure fried skin I received along with BURNT fries. I ordered the spicy Korean Wings and Lemon Pepper Wings with the fresh baked bread and fries. Everything was hot and fresh. The restaurant was really busy with phone orders and in person diners. The hostess did a good job taking care of customers and submitting orders. The wait was a little long I'd suggest calling in orders to-go if you are short on time. There's plenty of space to sit and dine if you prefer dining in the restaurant. It is located inside of the Aspen Hill shopping center. This location is so hit or miss. Tonight a mistake was made on my order and when mentioned to the manager whom apparently packed my order I hear him scold the employee stating " don't f**** blame me, I don't give a f*** about what she thinks" absolutely disgusted. You never speak to an employee in that tone as q manager especially in front of customers. I commend the employee on his excellent customer service and willingness to remain calm in such a situation. The manager ( didn't catch names but brown skin young man with short hair ) is trash and should be terminated immediately. This is my second time going there since it opened a few years back. The first experience there was okay. But it was nothing special. But I was on a break and needed to eat something. So I went to wing stop since it had been a while and I ordered a small 6 piece, 2 flavor meal. I guess I didn't get the memo to call ahead or anything. But I lie to you not, it took almost 20 minutes just for 6 wings and fries. And the food was just okay. Nothing too special (again). So I was pretty upset that it took so long. Not to mention, I was on a time schedule so I spent most of my break waiting for the food so that really made me mad. AND it was expensive and not at all worth the price. I now understand why it is never busy in there. And another thing! There was a bunch of empty food trays all over the place. They had not even cleaned up. that just seemed lazy to me because the employees in the back looked like they weren't doing much except just joking around with each other.
