We came at lunch on a Wednesday, this place was empty! The music was so loud my kid and I had to get nose to nose to hear each other. When we walked in the employee was taking a phone order so we were able to look and see what we wanted. When we ordered it was a suprise taht everything, to include ranch, was al la cart... so I just got wings and my kid got a meal. The wings take about 15 min to cook which is nice, I like fresh!! The fried corn is not worth it yall!! My kid got the chicken sandwich, she said it was not as good as Popeyes but better than Pluckers. While we were there I guess the guy that was on the phone came is yelling that he was hung up on... yikes. The manager handled it well and defused the situation, gold star for her!!

i'm currently writing this review as my brother and i are sitting in the restaurant, it's january 3, 2026, we came from downtown austin tired and hungry and we got our order taken by Korey; instantly you could tell how they all looked a little stressed because of how many orders they had, it didn't stop them from being great care takers. i have never tried the voodoo fries so i asked what was on them and got my answer with no complications or attitude. my little brother has a weird request and he likes his fries from any fast food place cold, this is the first time i've ever had workers agree to serve him his fries cold and even then when we got the food they made sure they were the right temperature for him. the store was clean, not packed, didn't have trash everywhere. this was such a good experience for us, genuinely. will definitely be coming again. shout out to the crew who's all here at 10:52 pm on 01/03/26, much love to all of yall .

There was a while where this location was a little rough and I had written a poor review for them. But over the years since, they have vastly improved. My go to order is typically the voodoo fries and a 10 pc boneless wing (yes I highly prefer boneless) of whatever flavor I'm feeling like that week. Their boneless wing deal on Monday and Tuesday are just too good to pass up. Their ranch is absolutely addicting and the voodoo fries I literally could eat every single day. I did post a picture of the fries from two separate items I've gone in the last few weeks because one of those times they SMOTHERED my fries with cheese and ranch (which was a good thing) Either way I'd suggest If you had a bad experience with this location in the past, try to give em another chance!

My fries that came with almost little to none seasoning I rarely give reviews but like cmon bro you can't miss the order instructions that bad Everytime and I specifically order extra seasoning on them because they be bland af and dry ‍, I waited 45+ minutes for this food and it ain't even all the way right and this ain't the first time and probably won't be the last.

Feel bad because there's so many hungry hippos and no one to work to feed them. they took way too long and i was just picking up for someone ... I had to eat my Cane's while I waited for the food that was sitting there for 40 mins maneee.... Heard it was good tho. Id come back.

I wasted my calories! This was by far the worst Wingstop I have visited. The wings had no seasoning and the skin was chewy.

My girls are begging for anchor wings nightly, the 9yo loves their retrial and the 7yo loves the jerk, I personally love the honey siracha and babe alert ranch. Now the honey siracha, it's listed as like the one of the hottest, no sir it's barely spicy at all, I still love it but just saying. Wait staff is always awesome, friendly and super helpful. Only complaint is we saw they have .99c wings on Tuesdays, it says limit 10, which was perfect for the girls and I since we can't eat more than 6. The waiter said it's a misprint and supposed to say 10 minimum. That was frustrating and sad because we would go every Tuesday if we could order less, 10 is way too much for all 3 of us and all 3 like different flavors so sharing won't work either. Love the hand cleaning station, although it looks like it could use a cleaning itself lol. But 5 stars because yesssss, the food and the service are so good. Wait one more complaint, sorry! The skillet cookie, way too expensive for what you get AND the skillet is tiny it's impossible to eat without getting burned. Knowing it was bringing hot and being careful all 3 of us still left with burns.

The Mango Habanero wings had just the right amount of spice and was not overpowering like some other wing restaurants. Also I rarely eat Ranch dressing with my wings, but the Ranch dressing here tastes much better than other wing restaurants I have tried. Overall a VERY impressive experience and I may need to become a more frequent visitor. I also like the fact this is a veteran owned restaurant, that makes me want to visit even more.

They were perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of vinegar and cooked to that ideal tender texture without being mushy. The fried chicken and catfish were outstanding. Both were well seasoned, incredibly crispy, and tasted like they were fried in fresh grease. Every bite was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The baked macaroni and cheese was good, but it leaned a little more toward a Velveeta-style cheese sauce than my personal preference. Still a solid 9/10. I also ordered the Peach Passion Fruit Hennessy margarita, and it was superb. Smooth, flavorful, and easily one of the highlights of the meal. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the prices were very reasonable, and the portions were generous. The young lady at the register left quickly when we approached, and when I asked if we could dine in, she told us there was no room. That felt unusual, but we decided to order takeout. While placing the order, she mentioned there were plumbing issues and something was overflowing, which raised another concern about the cleanliness of the environment. She also seemed anxious and unprofessional during the interaction. We were told the food would take about 15 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 30-45 minutes. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations, especially for the price. The oxtails, rice, greens, and macaroni and cheese were around $36. The okra looked like it had been refried, and the chicken wings tasted as though they were cooked in old grease. The greens had an unusual flavor, and the macaroni and cheese did not taste like traditional mac and cheese. The oxtails were messy but not tender. Based on the lack of professionalism, the long wait, and the overall quality of the food, I do not plan to return.

The website paints a picture of a beach‑side getaway: easygoing, flavorful, relaxed. That's exactly why our visit felt so mismatched. My partner and I ordered the Perfect Storm sampler and 10 bone‑in wings, split between Garlic Ginger and Garlic Parm. The wings came mixed with flats and drums, which was fine, but both flavors were so greasy that we had to wipe them down before eating. And not just a little sheen -- I mean the kind of oiliness that dulls the seasoning and clings to your fingers. The Garlic Ginger had a nice aromatic profile underneath, but the fat muted it. The Garlic Parm leaned heavy, with the grease overshadowing any sharpness from the garlic or cheese. The sampler didn't fare much better. The fries were soggy and limp, the kind of texture that tells you the oil temperature dropped or the batch sat too long. The shrimp and mozzarella were edible, but lacked crispness -- everything felt weighed down instead of bright or crunchy. When fried food loses its structure, it loses its appeal, and that's exactly what happened here. From a food‑critic standpoint, the issue wasn't flavor -- it was technique. Grease is a symptom. It usually means the oil wasn't hot enough, the baskets were overloaded, or the fry time wasn't adjusted. When the oil temp drops, moisture stays trapped inside the food, and instead of crisping, it absorbs the fat. That's how you end up with wings that feel slick instead of snappy and fries that collapse under their own weight. And that's where the disconnect with the branding hits hardest. The website promises "hot and crispy wings with a 100% chance of cold, frothy beers," "jumbo‑sized wings," and "an escape from the ordinary." What we received felt more like a kitchen struggling to keep up -- heavy food, tired textures, and none of the crispness that defines good fried comfort food. The frustrating part is that the service was excellent. Our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind -- the kind of person who makes you feel taken care of before the food even arrives. But the kitchen execution didn't rise to meet that level. When the service is top‑tier and the food feels like an afterthought, the imbalance becomes impossible to ignore. Great people, but the food didn't match the promise or the care they put into the experience. We wouldn't return.
