This place is great it definitely rivals a lot of wing places I have tried but truthfully the fact that it's not wingstop is good enough for me. I am beyond obsessed with the spicy bbq sauce they have here. We also tried the Linda's special and it was good but not that spicy and I was looking for something truly spicy so I probably won't order it again. I would like to try all their flavors soon so I'll be working my way through this menu eventually. The space was big inside but it always feels too empty here so I do prefer to order take out when I come here. Either way I love the wings here and I don't feel like this place gets enough credit!! Very underrated for how good the wings and sauces are.

My order came out immediately after I ordered, which explains the dryness of the chicken--probably had it pre-made, sitting out, and ready to assemble. The water and/or ice used in the fountain drinks also have a really bad taste--how I would imagine toilet water to taste like. However, the taste/flavors of the sauces and slaw were good, which is why I am writing this review for this specific location only. The girl at the cash register was also nice. Whoever is overseeing the franchisees needs to do some better QC.

The $9 price for a side order of fried pickles is a hilarious symbol of another mediocre fast food franchise scheme. What then could be so spectacular to warrant a 5 star review? Esp. when it's normal in this pathetic consumer culture to find something to whine about. The ranch dressing is phenomenally savory here. I will devour the ranch dressing at Hoots like an Irish Wolfhound trying to lick the peanut out of the bottom of a discarded jar of Skippy. I enjoyed the ranch here so much I could not even eat my order of fries in the Hoots's eerily quiet/deserted store front. Privacy is key for ideal Hoots ranch consumption.

I eventually found the clipboard with the waiting list and added my party. For about 20 minutes, no staff came to the front to check the list or seat anyone. I finally walked toward the kitchen area and asked an associate whether seating was happening or if guests should consider leaving. He was friendly and went to check, and shortly after, a few staff members came out and began seating everyone. It seemed like they were limiting the flow of guests due to low staffing. Given that it was Week 2 of the NFL season -- a Thursday night Bills vs. Lions game -- I would've expected management to anticipate a busier-than-usual evening and staff accordingly. Ironically, I was seated at the same table where I had waited earlier. Once seated, service and food were fine. But the initial walk‑in experience was rough; anyone with less patience would've walked out. I'm not here to bash the restaurant -- just noting that if you visit on a game night, it's best to lower your expectations.

My take is Nguyen's Kitchen is fast-food Asian fusion, and honestly, it's a pretty good option when you're craving something quick and flavorful. I think there's another location close to Santa Ana so will check that one out next time.

The presentation was nice, but unfortunately, the sauce was way too salty for my taste. I usually eat less salt, so the saltiness really overpowered the other flavors and made it difficult to enjoy the dish. Overall, it had potential, but I think the sauce could use a lot less salt to let the crawfish and other ingredients shine.

Great service and timing for a pre-movie bite, but the cleanliness missed the mark…read more We stopped in here just to kill some time before catching a movie, and logistically, it started off great. We were seated immediately, the atmosphere was lively with games on all the screens, and our waitress was quick, attentive, and completely on point. Even though we kept it simple with just boneless wings and fries, the food came out hot and pretty good. The Major Issue: Unfortunately, my rating has to reflect a serious concern regarding cleanliness. We arrived right when they first opened for the day, which means the restaurant had just been prepped yet the indoor tables were uncleaned, the physical menus still had food residue on them, and we found a random, used fork with food still on it sitting right on top of our booth. The seats themselves also had old food debris left behind. As a diner, finding previous guests' leftover food on menus, tables, and seats right at opening is a major red flag it's not just unpleasant, it's a genuine health and safety hazard. The Verdict: The staff was pleasant and the service was fast, but management really needs to tighten up opening side-work and sanitation protocols. I hope they address this, because the core service team deserves better backup from the cleaning standards.

I'm a regular patron and enjoy their menu and food quality as well as the atmosphere. The flavors all look very interesting and I ended up trying the Nashville hot bone in as well as the Kung Pao boneless. The boneless wings were far better than expected, great portion size, excellent amount of breading and texture as well as a decent sauce. Something in the sauce is a little bit reminiscent of oyster sauce, The first few wings are great, then the sauce gets a little bit redundant afterwards. Maybe some acidity could help lighten it up a little bit? I was most excited about the Nashville hot and was really hoping for big juicy bone in wings with great texture! I guess 2 out of 3 isn't bad... The Nashville hot sauce is great, just the right amount of heat and acidity you can keep going back for more! Best part is, it's not too salty! The wings are really good size, large and juicy! Where they fall short is in texture... The skin is soft and soggy, reminiscent of raw chicken thigh skin. These Wings didn't get hot enough to even render the fat immediately under the surface of the skin. It made the texture unbearable, I actually peeled most of the skin off of all of the wings before eating them as the texture ruined the experience. I know they were not, but I feel like they were boiled instead of fried. I guess I am just stuck making wings at home as no one in Southern California can seem to get this right... I really wanted to like these and was really excited about them, not a big boneless wing eater, but it's the only thing I'd go back for, if I went back. Jolene's if you're listening please fix this wing texture and either give me a crispy skin or a crunchy coating. I eat wings once a week and would love nothing more than to eat them there!!! Also I had the umami sauce as well as the Nashville hot ranch, both were great, neither were overpowering and both were light enough to allow me to taste the wing sauce underneath.
