It's rated one of the best pizza spots in LA for a reason! I honestly wasn't even a huge pizza person until I tried their Bacon Jalapeño Burger Pizza--it is an absolute MUST order. The combination of flavors is unreal. Their wings are hands down some of the best I've ever had. They're huge, incredibly juicy, and I genuinely think they're baked because they have the perfect texture without feeling greasy. And don't skip the smoked brisket sandwich! It's so tender, flavorful, and ridiculously juicy. Everything we've tried here has been amazing, and it's one of those places that keeps you coming back to try more. Definitely worth the hype!

You're gonna get big flavors and even bigger pizzas from Big Al's! I tried the garlic chicken split with the spicy Hawaiian brisket extra large pizza that easily fed four people. Also got 1 pound of the sweet heat and Jamaican jerk wings. It took probably 15 to 20 minutes for my order to complete which means that every single thing is made to order and you can tell! Staff is chill and respectful, and helped out and selecting customer favorites that I wanted to try . Make sure you try that Jamaican jerk, wings, and the spicy Hawaiian brisket!

this place is super close to old town orange/orange circle! I loved the crust on this pizza. we got a large with half lebanese garlic chicken and half big al's supreme and while the lebanese garlic chicken is unique, my favorite was the supreme. we also got the lemon pepper wings which was interesting because it was liquid so the wings were drenched in the sauce, instead of the normal dry rub that i'm used to. service was great they were very friendly and [[HIGHLIGHT]]there's a large area to eat in store but looks like most people got to go[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We were craving pizza, so decided to try this place. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dining area is pretty big and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We walked over to the front to place our order. We got a large pizza - half lebanese garlic chicken half brisket and a lb of crispy wings with 3 sauces on the side. We tried the Jamaican jerk, lemon pepper, and red dragon. My daughter also wanted to try a cheesecake, so we got the strawberry shortcake flavor. The food came out and we were in love of the brightness of the pizza. The lebanese garlic chicken was so colorful! The wings are baked and super crispy!!!! I loved both flavors of the pizza. They are very unique. I tried the Jamaican jerk sauce on the wings and WOW it was very spicy!!! The red dragon was like a sweet and sauce sauce with a little kick as well. I definitely would come here again to try the other unique flavors!! 10/10

Wait, I really wish I knew about this sooner because their food was so good!!! I loved the BBQ chicken pizza, lemon pepper wings, and sweet & spicy wings. It was soooo delicious that I actually ate the chicken properly (very rare lol). I also got to try their Biscoff and strawberry Oreo cheesecake, they were so lovely !!! I can't wait to come back here!

Stopped by Big Al's Pizzeria with my family and was so impressed with the quality of food and service. I will definitely add Big Al's to my standing rotation of spots to hit whether I'm craving pizza or wings! We tried pizzas, wings, and dessert to taste the full spread of what Big Al has to offer. Things I appreciated from the get-go: food is baked to order, with fresh ingredients, no use of seed oils, and halal-ready pizzas (which can be often hard to find with pizza). Pizza: We ordered a large and tried 1/2 Lebanese Chicken and 1/2 Hawaiian Brisket. Both sides were bursting with flavor, with a thick garlicky crust. Personally, I enjoyed the Hawaiian Brisket the best because I felt that the barbeque sauce, brisket, and pineapple combo just blew my socks off. It was probably the best Hawaiian pizza I've ever had! Wings: We tried 1 lb of lemon pepper and 1 lb of Jamaican jerk wings. I absolutely loved the lemon pepper! It was crisp and tender, without feeling too oily or greasy with the perfect amount of zest. The Jamaican jerk was also good, but not a personal favorite of mine as I felt that it was too spicy for my tastes, but my parents loved it! Dessert: We also opted for a homemade cheesecake made by Big Al's wife (@cinamoms on Instagram if you want to order just sweets). This was so delicious--creamy and buttery with a thick flaky crust that made it a meal to absolutely enjoy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience: Decor is modern and clean, with plenty of seating throughout the restaurant that can accommodate large parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service: - Although in a busy area of Downtown Orange where parking can be limited, they have their own parking in the back - Service is quick, efficient, and friendly. I was able to meet Big Al, the owner, who is the SWEETEST! He kindly walked us through all his best recommendations given it was our first time here. Overall Impression: 10/10 experience and flavors. Will definitely come back again for more pizza, wings, and the ability to support a small family business!

Great service Great amazing pizza extremely disappointed with the wings. :(. Sad. Such a long drive. However first time this has happened and I'm been going to Big Al's for a while now. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's still a great place[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I Just need to not request them crispy.

Big Als Pizzeria is located in Old Towne Orange. Theres street parking nearby or small parking lots around , you just might have to walk a bit. I got a half carne asada half buffalo chicken ranch pizza with some lemon pepper wings. The carne asada pizza was very good! the salsa on top adds the perfect kick of spicyness and the buffalo ranch was really good as well! the wings are baked & they were juicy. I wish I wouldve got something spicier instead of lemon pepper but I was sharing with my brother. Definitely recommend this place tho! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of room inside w/ Tvs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I had such a great experience at Big Al's Pizzeria! I love that they have so many halal options, and the fusion of Mexican and Lebanese flavors makes the menu so unique and to be honest one of my favs because I LOVE FUSION FOOD! The staff was incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in and gave us great recommendations on what to order, which made the experience even better. We tried the sweet and spicy wings, and they were absolutely delicious a bit spicy but yummy. The wait wasn't long at all, the restaurant has plenty of convenient parking, and [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also love that you can catch a game while you eat.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're looking for a spot with amazing food, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere, Big Al's is definitely worth checking out!

YOOOOO THIS PLACE IS FIREE! there's parking behind the place very quick and easy. I never been here before but when me and my girl went, it was so delicious. 10/10 customer service thank you Samuel for your time and hospitality. YOURE THE BOMB super sweet and welcoming 10/10 if you're reading this and you're not sure what flavor to choose, Smoky Brisket with Pineapple THAT WAS SO YUMMY and savory 9/10 on the lemon pepper chickens mhmm mhmm it comes out so fresh too! [[HIGHLIGHT]]10/10 seating inside!! There's so much room and good vibes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Thank you so much!! Will come again. Lots of different variety of pizza flavors. Very shareable

The place is clean and I appreciated the positive vibe and artwork. The staff was really friendly. I ordered a custom small pizza with pepperoni, mushroom, and black olives. Unfortunately, the pizza was a miss for me. The crust was tough and hard to chew. There was barely any pepperoni (initially I thought they forgot it then realized it was there, just really skimped) so it felt like I was eating a veggie pizza which was not what I wanted. It didn't have a lot of cheese either. It was pricey for the quality. Kudos to the staff for their positive attitude but improvements need to be done on the food.

What happened to the rewards we used to earn?

Hi Julie, our rewards system moved to the app and is now all automated! Download the app (Big Al's Pizzeria) in the Apple or Google Play store. Thanks!

Your website mentions certification by Halal Transactions of Omaha (HTO). HTO certifies machine slaughtered chicken as zabiha but if I'm looking for strictly hand-slaughtered chicken, would you be able to confirm if your chicken is hand-slaughtered?

Chicken on pizza is hand slaughtered and the wings are machine slaughtered. I Dm the owner that's what he said!

    Are you guys officially open?

Yes they are as of 12/22/2022 in Orange, CA but waiting time is longer then expected so be prepared.

My go-to is the pork sandwich, and it is SO good. The pork is incredibly juicy and marinated perfectly, with so much flavor in every bite. I also love how generous they are with the cilantro because it really makes the sandwich for me. And you HAVE to get the green sauce on top! It has that jalapeño kick that gives the sandwich the perfect amount of spice without overpowering all the other flavors. Everything together is just so delicious. The food is always consistent and comes out really quickly, which I love. The service is always good too, nothing over the top, but everyone is friendly and everything is efficient. I've never had a bad experience here. The ambiance is pretty casual and laid back. I was meeting my foodie friend there at 12:30. The parking lot has limited space, which made it an extra challenge to park. Thankfully I only had to circle the block once to come back and snag a spot. (Meanwhile, my friend got there before me and was already enjoying an appetizer). Orders are placed at the counter and they call your number once your food is ready. The dining room consists of mostly booth seating with one "communal" table, and counter seating with 5ish chairs. There are also a handful of tables set outside. I've really been enjoying banh mi and their Bulgogi beef sandwich sounded great. I also happen to have a thing for popcorn chicken, so I got an order of that to round out my lunch. Oh, and based on the rave reviews I've read about their peach & lychee green tea, I ordered one of those as well. Let me just say, lunch was very satisfying! The sandwich was generously filled the fresh ingredients and the meat to veggie ratio was perfect. I'm not sure what the green sauce was that they finished the sammie off with but it was SO tasty!! I requested the popcorn chicken with medium heat and it was just spicy enough to leave my tongue tingling slightly. My friend saved an egg roll for me and it was also really good. (The tea by the way was very refreshing.) Now, this was my first time here but I never saw anyone come out to check the dining room or wipe down the tables after the lunch rush. This was especially concerning to me because they had a guy doing work on the windows who put his feet/ shoes on the tables right under said windows. Ewww. But aside from the parking challenge and the table hygiene/cleanliness, our visit was quite enjoyable and the food was very good. We would definitely return, but we'll have to plan around the lunch rush!

This is my first time trying out the bottom as appetizers, and for a second, actually looks like a good deal: all you can eat appetizers from a limited menu for $12.99 up to four people, how would you go wrong? Well for starters, it's just deep-fried starch. Honestly, it's exactly what it sounds like -- a lot of fried food. Mozzarella sticks, onion rings, fried pickles, chips, queso, and wings. Fun at first, but it gets heavy really quickly. The value isn't terrible, but at $12.99 it still doesn't feel like something I'd do again. I'm a regular patron and enjoy their menu and food quality as well as the atmosphere. The flavors all look very interesting and I ended up trying the Nashville hot bone in as well as the Kung Pao boneless. The boneless wings were far better than expected, great portion size, excellent amount of breading and texture as well as a decent sauce. Something in the sauce is a little bit reminiscent of oyster sauce, The first few wings are great, then the sauce gets a little bit redundant afterwards. Maybe some acidity could help lighten it up a little bit? I was most excited about the Nashville hot and was really hoping for big juicy bone in wings with great texture! I guess 2 out of 3 isn't bad... The Nashville hot sauce is great, just the right amount of heat and acidity you can keep going back for more! Best part is, it's not too salty! The wings are really good size, large and juicy! Where they fall short is in texture... The skin is soft and soggy, reminiscent of raw chicken thigh skin. These Wings didn't get hot enough to even render the fat immediately under the surface of the skin. It made the texture unbearable, I actually peeled most of the skin off of all of the wings before eating them as the texture ruined the experience. I know they were not, but I feel like they were boiled instead of fried. I guess I am just stuck making wings at home as no one in Southern California can seem to get this right... I really wanted to like these and was really excited about them, not a big boneless wing eater, but it's the only thing I'd go back for, if I went back. Jolene's if you're listening please fix this wing texture and either give me a crispy skin or a crunchy coating. I eat wings once a week and would love nothing more than to eat them there!!! Also I had the umami sauce as well as the Nashville hot ranch, both were great, neither were overpowering and both were light enough to allow me to taste the wing sauce underneath.
