I've given this place too many chances. The first time I went there it took a while for the food to come out and I can understand that from time to time. No harm no foul. However the workers seem to not care much for the customer or their job. One employee had their kids running around, which again, I get it. Just not a very friendly experience. But every time I've order out from there they've found a way to make it not enjoyable. This most recent time I ordered boneless wings for my wife and bone in wings for myself. We received one singular box with my wings which tasted off and instead of a 6 piece boneless wings for her we got what I can only describe as popcorn chicken pieces. And it was primarily all bread. Easy to order! I love the hot honey rub so I got that and the wings were still hot even on my 30 min drive home! Reading the reviews I see people complaining about time and missing items. It took maybe 15-20 minutes but they are cooking the food fresh and it gets busy! I went during 1 and it was pretty chill. Everything was in my bag and it was great. The Wing Stop in Oceanside is much wow! This place allows for you to order a type of wing order then add some type of heat/tempurature/spice to it. They offer only a handful of options but whatever you choose you won't be disappointed. My biggest caveat and reason for 4 review is because the chicken wings are swimming in oil whenever you open up your food box. Pricing is comparable, not too much but not too expensive. Though they serve chicken in a pool of oil, their chicken is really delicious. They also serve other things food but why go to a friend chicken restaurant to order something aside form chicken? Additionally, if you order from here expect to wait 20 to 30 mins. they seemingly make the chicken A La Carte. Fortunately, you can walk to other stores within the shopping center while you wait. Parking can be a bit challenging as it shares parking spots with other businesses but overall not too much of an issue. If you are looking for a local chicken wing place, it does not hurt to try this one out! read more

Terrible. Will never go back to this restaurant or any other wingstop. We tried many many times over the years to give this place a chance because we used to love the chain. Tonight was the nail in the coffin. The wings had a fishy smell, there was hardly any sauce on anything. The chicken just looked very weird. The texture was soft felt "light". Employees don't care 3 times in a row my order has been wrong they need a manager desperately

We placed an online order yesterday for pickup today 2/11 at 3pm. Knowing it was the Super Bowl I placed and paid for the order ahead of time. Well, my husband got there at 3pm to pick up our order (30 wings, fries & veggies) only to be told they were over an hour behind on all orders. No apology, no discounts offered for the inconvenience. Nothing. We had already paid for it and he was told they could not refund his order there but that it had to be done through their app. My husband came home empty handed and went back at 4:10 to try and get the order we paid for and finally was given it. Once home we opened everything and found the fries to be completely inedible. We threw them out. Soggy, old, cold, brown and burnt pieces. Wings were decent (hence 2 stars) but the customer service and fries sucked. If they had reached out to let us know orders were over an hour behind we would have been more understanding, heck, even an apology from an employee would have been nice. Three employees late teens or early 20s, only one doing all the work (female? Had long hair in a braid) while the guy with messy long hair that was untamed and standing in the back on his phone laughing and stoping occasionally to show the other male coworker videos. Zero sanitation while making food, bulky guy with beard wearing no gloves and then scratching his face and groin area while packing food and making fries. We came in here to pick up our order and we were told it would be 5 more minutes. We waited 25 minutes, no updates and when we asked again they grabbed a bag from the shelf saying it's been ready for a while. Lemon Pepper wings had no seasoning and tasted plain. Fries were soggy, their "hot" wings aka buffalo were bland and not spicy. The only ones that were properly sauced were the mango habanero but unfortunately they were dry and cold. This experience and meal was not worth $58. It's unfortunate that this location has gone downhill and continues to go downhill. I got there 20 min AFTER my scheduled pick up time because they're always behind (I can clearly see that there's not a lot of people working) and I am guessing they have lots of orders so this isn't the staff problem BUT it needs to be fixed somehow because it notifies you that the order is "ready" when they haven't even started cooking it yet. The trash can right in front of the restaurant is FILTHY, completely overfilled and it seriously grossed me out, trash was everywhere. Got my food and the chicken pieces were either super greasy or just extremely dry. I love wingstop but this location needs to have better management or a protocol in place to help with these things. The staff is never rude to me and they usually explain they're backed up or the fries take a bit longer to cook. Whoever reading this review, please don't forget that the staff is people working minimum wage and they don't get paid to get harassed or insulted.. they're doing the best they can.
