My 9 year old daughter wanted to try this place as our weekly 'date night'. I would give the boneless wings 4 stars: they were fresh, crispy, the sauce was a perfect ratio, and the flavors were spot on. Every single table when we walked in was full of trash. The only place for us to sit was the bar. There is NO TRASH CAN for patrons to throw away their trash, so everything gets left on the tables. While we were there, a large group of customers cleared the tables (putting everything on the counter where the orders roll out) so that they would have a place to sit. My daughter had to blow her nose - so she went and got a paper towel from the counter, blew her nose, then walked around for 5 minutes looking for a trash can. The lady behind the counter (super nice btw) asked her if she could help and my daughter asked for a trash can. The lady held her hand out and told her 'there are no trash cans out there but I'll be happy to throw that away for you'. Good place to (wing)stop by for a quick bite if you're near the Target complex in east Livermore. I had some TGT shopping to do and was famished, so decided to check it out. Happily, it was a Monday, and they offer boneless wings for sixty cents each, which is a good deal! I ordered teriyaki and Hawaiian flavors, staying on the milder end of the heat spectrum (gone are the days when I could easily put away a dozen Atomic wings!). The line moved quickly (crowds start coming in after 7) and I received my order in less than ten minutes. The wings were sticky and hot, the sauces liberally applied. Which was fine for the Hawaiian, but got a little much for the teriyaki. Nevertheless, I enjoyed both, and polished off my meal while watching NBA basketball on one tv, Monday night football on the other. Service was friendly, and they bus tables. I'm very upset. I placed an order at 7:30 PM. I went in at 8 and paid for it. I waited for 45 minutes while other people came and went, and finally I was told my order was in a bag that I saw be set down 20+ minutes earlier. I asked for a refund but I didn't know if they would still let me have my food. I said I'd keep it if it was still hot and the manager said it was. It wasn't. We were greeted by a wall of smoke funneling out the front door (not sure if that's a regular thing or not??) and hesitated to actually enter the restaurant. Upon entering we made our way to the counter but no one seem to notice us for what seemed like an eternity in the billowing smoke. Masks were worn by most of the busy staff and we eventually got to order. We finally decided the smoke was too much and waited outside in the parking lot for our food to be ready. Wings were not editable - dry, hard to chew and just tasted like vinegar. Just because you dab sauce on wing, doesn't make it good. Also, Chile paste and pepper doesn't equate to atomic. Besides the food, which is consistently great from location to location, this was a pretty low-tier Wingstop experience. Just some main points: 1. You may not have noticed this, but the employee taking your order (at any location) literally cannot proceed entering any element of your order into the register until you provide your name. If you say "hi" and start with your order, they will interrupt you mid-sentence and ask your name. It's frustrating, unnecessary, slows down the line, and causes you to have to repeat parts of your order. The corporate office needs to take note of this and change this. In this instance, the employee taking my order was pretty rude in interrupting me, and did not respond when I told him "thank you" after the transaction. Not good customer service. 2. No trash is available to dispose of your trash (at any location). Again, corporate needs to change this. This location's lobby was in a state of disarray with multiple tables having trash on them. The employees, meanwhile, were loudly joking and laughing in the back. Not acceptable when a simple 2 minute lobby check is needed. This is the only wingstop I go to in the entire Bay Area. It is very much out the way, but in my personal opinion, worth it! The food is usually always hot and fresh. Very well sauced and seasoned and definitely worth the wait. I can honestly say that I have only been disappointed by the food here ONE TIME out of at least 100 times. I have been to several different locations throughout the Bay Area and typically am not satisfied. This location is usually very busy, which typically indicates a long wait time. Love wing stop but this location is disappointing. What we ordered - lemon pepper- cajun- Louisiana. What we got Louisiana? Kinda tasted like it had mild on it? Plain no sauce no dry rub just plan. And lemon pepper was only on about half the wings. They some how missed half and so we had half plain. The corn we ordered was almost plain. Most locations generously season the corn. Simply put, I love their boneless wings so much. They have the typical amount of flavors to choose from ranging from not spicy to outrageous. I've had their "loaded" fries before, but those are a disaster and aren't loaded at all.. That's fine, no big deal. I've had their fries regularly, and they are really not that good at all. I'd rather go to the nearby McDonald's and get fries there with my wings. The wings aren't super pricey, you'll get full off of the meals. The only thing I really dislike about this location in particular is the customer service. They have music kind of loud at the register so it can be hard to hear the mumbling employee so make sure you lean in close! They don't have actual napkins, they make you grab paper towels off of a roll. They must be super poor to not even be able to afford napkins. They also have ketchup packets, which is whatever. Their soda machine is an old Coca Cola freestyle that has a nearly broken button so careful there. Overall, their boneless wings and flavors are amazing, everything else is meh or worse. read more
