Stopped in for lunch with the family around 11:30am. Ordered two 10piece wing combos with the following flavors: Hawaiian, garlic parm, Louisiana, mild. Got one fries with Cajun seasoning and one fries with no salt. Fast food arrival dining in. We liked how they separated each flavor and the fries were so good and fresh. Very helpful and patient cashier taking orders. Have high chairs but no changing station in bathrooms read more

Wingstop - 10 pc Wing Combo - Chicken Wings Near Me - Hoover, Alabama

After running a couple of errands, I decided to grab some lunch from Wingstop. This is located in the strip on Highway 31 and Southland Drive in Hoover. When i walked in, i was greeted VERY enthusiastically by the cashier. He seemed genuinely excited to help and asked if i needed suggestions. I went with a chicken sandwich combo with wet lemon pepper sauce and blue cheese dressing. He said i had made an excellent choice. He gave me a cup to fix my drink. The restaurant was clean and the cashier was on top of cleaning the tables. I don't know where the gloves materialized from, but he had gloves while cleaning tables. We also had a great conversation, which was a plus. It took about 7 minutes for my food to be cooked fresh. The cashier took the time to thank me for coming to eat with them. I took my food back to work and ate while preparing for a meeting. The crunch and flavor on the chicken sandwich was good and the fries were cooked well. The meal was good. Definitely make a point to visit this Wingstop. read more

I was so thrilled a wing stop was coming in close by for the ranch alone-they really do have the best! Our first visit the location was very busy and we waited a while but our order was right, so we decided to try it again. The second and every other visit have been the same, an incredibly long wait time despite even ordering online. I'm all for food safety-especially with chicken, but the wait time has to improve;especially since this location has been open for a couple of years now. read more

To be avoided at all costs. After almost an hour of watching people order and eat after us had to get a refund and leave. They should burn the place to the ground and start over read more

On this beautiful Saturday afternoon, Mom and I decided to have lunch at WingStop located at 1539 Montgomery Highway. What an excellent choice, I ordered Cajun Chicken Sandwich combo with French fries with Ranch dressing and a Dr. Pepper. Mom ordered Six piece Louisiana Rub Boneless wings with French fries and Bleu cheese dressing with a Sweet Tea. The customer service was very good. In these days and times, I appreciate the hard work the food service staff give to the customers. They need an increase in work wages!! Kudos to the hard working staff at WingStop.! read more

I really love their lemon pepper wings. I ordered 5 lemon pepper and 5 original hot. Both were tasty but once it was all said and done , I wish I had only gotten lemon pepper. The original hot wings were good but did not settle well. I had MAJOR reflux afterwards. I requested all flats , fried hard. Only about 3 of my 10 wings were fried hard. I ended up putting them in the oven to reach my desired level of satisfaction. Sigh The fries are always good! This was no different today. I never have an issue with service here. There is a wait since the food is prepared fresh. I just hate that my wings weren't fried hard all ten of them but I only took off one star from my previous review a year ago. Otherwise, I was pretty satisfied. read more

I ordered 10pc wing only with Blue Cheese. Half LP half Original Hot. These are the LP wings they gave me. Not a lick of LP. Just oil! So disappointing. This location is never consistent. read more

I'd been wanting to try Wing Stop but they are always so crowded at night, so I went for a late lunch. I ordered online and my order was set to be ready in 25 mins. I got the 8pc combo, half lemon pepper and half Louisiana cajun which comes with fries, ranch and a soda.... cost about $12 total. I arrived later than my pickup time and my order still wasn't ready. I waited in the seating area for about 10 mins. Although they didn't seem very crowded, others were waiting as well. The food came fresh and hot. At first glance, I was not impressed by the look of the wings... they didn't look well seasoned, maybe because both were dry flavors. The cajun turned out to be very yummy. I wasn't very unimpressed with the lemon pepper... it could've used a bit more seasoning for me. But the fries and the ranch were soooo good. That may be the sole reason for a return visit from me. I recommend you go by and decide for yourself! read more

I tried Wingstop for the first time earlier this week. I've heard mixed reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. Ordering was easy. It did take twenty minutes or so for a food to come out. The employees were nice. The wings were decent. I tried the standard hot flavor, which wasn't hot to me at all. The fries had an interesting seasoning on them. I like them! I'd maybe come back, but I'll request my wings to ne fried extra crispy. read more

I can't even begin to describe how ridiculously lacking this location is in service. We ordered 5 orders of 2 tenders (it was a 2 for $2 special) so in total 10 tenders, plus fries at 6pm (6:08 to be exact), came to pick up at 6:25, grabbed my order, and this is where I went wrong: I DIDNT STOP TO CHECK MY ORDER. We drove home and realized we were missing 4 tenders. My husband and I weren't going to share just 6 tenders so I called, they told me to come back and clarify what was wrong. We drive back, it's now 6:45. We explain we're missing 2 orders of 2 tenders. We're helped immediately and given 2 tenders in 5 min. We explain again we're still missing another order. Then we stand there for another 15 minutes. I then go up to check on the LAST TWO TENDERS and they FORGOT. They give me the two tenders in THIRTY SECONDS after I asked. It was ready. Just forgotten. So now it is an HOUR AND 10 MINUTES past when I ordered and we are now driving home with a cold dinner. read more

Wife and I stopped in after pickleball on a whim a few weeks ago. I've seen commercials for Wingstop for a long time but had never been to one; always assumed it was just quick, average fried chicken/wings. I was completely wrong. The location looks new but you can tell the kitchen space is clean as well as the lobby. Ordered a 15 piece lemon pepper to go and these wings were crisp, hot, and proportionately sized. The fries were hot as well and ranch came with. Phenomenal. I've thoroughly enjoyed wings for the past ~25 years of my life and have to say those were some of the best I've ever had. All of this was after 9pm so hats off to the workers and management here. PS Came back a month later and had the exact same experience. Again, I was expecting an experience on par with other chains these days, only to have another great dinner. Service was excellent and food was hot and delicious, even when we got home. Feels rare for a chain to be this exceptional. read more

Was skeptical about this place at first given the reviews, but I was hella impressed! We got a variety of boneless wings to try and the garlic parm and especially the lemon pepper was good. The lemon pepper has a slight sweetness and they were amazing. Their fries definitely have that "homemade" fry taste. They are not crispy at all, but I had the voodoo fries (cheese cause, ranch, and Cajun seasoning) after 1 hour of travel and still absolutely loved them. Wingstop's ranch is excellent. The cheese sauce doesn't have a ton of flavor in my opinion. My recs are lemon pepper, garlic Parmesan, and Korean flavors. And the fries. read more

I have 2 occurrences that have happened. I went with some family and 3 of our boneless wing orders were straight raw. My husbands friend bought him some and he ordered wings, fries and corn. They gave him two things of corn that's all. When I called I was nice and the woman was rude and said "we're busy right now call around 4:00" it was 12:45 when I made that phone call.... I'm going to the store in about an hour and will update this review but I highly do not recommend this place. Update: the man I spoke to was super sweet he remade our food and it was really really good. read more

Recently this area on Montgomery Hwy was cleared and a strip mall type building appeared with spaces for about 6 businesses. Driving by it I waited and waited and the first business that opened up on the end was none other than this Wingstop! I have not been to the location on 280 so I was excited to give this a try. They are located across from Advance Auto Parts in a brand new shopping/business complex. Parking is somewhat limited especially when the rest of the complex becomes occupied by other businesses. Right now, Wingstop has the run of the place. Their dining area is compact and they have about 12 small tables with chairs spaced rather close together. So to adhere to Health policy, if you're dining in, you'll want to sit every other table. There are at least 2 large screen tvs as well. There's a drink dispenser and then an ordering counter with large menus. Their menu is uncomplicated and rather simple. They only have 11 flavors (so far): Original Hot, Mild, Lemon Pepper, Hickory smoked bbq, Atomic, Mango Habanero, Cajun, Spicy Korean bbq, Louisiana Rub, Garlic Parmesan and Hawaiian. The 3 "dry rubs" are of course Lemon Pepper, Louisiana Rub and Garlic Parmesan. The rest are generously coated with their respective sauces. You can choose bone-in or tenders. Their sides include: seasoned fries, cheese fries, Louisiana voodoo fries, buffalo ranch fires, veggie sticks, baked rolls and Cajun fried corn. They also have one dessert: Triple chocolate chunk brownie. I've only tried their bone-in Lemon Pepper, Mango Habanero, Louisiana Rub and Spicy Korean. All the drumettes and wings (I thought) were on the small side compared what I would consider a normal side chicken wing. All were fried nicely and when you eat them freshly cooked a little nice wisp of steam should be released when you first bite into one! The Lemon pepper had that good zesty lemon flavor and was nicely speckled with black pepper. The Mango habanero is legit HOT! And it wasn't even their hottest which is the Atomic. So be prepared to guzzle a drink or reach for that celery stick! The Spicy Korean had a nice asian blend of garlic, ginger, sriracha with flecks of red pepper for a nice sweet and spicy flavor. But my favorite was the Louisiana rub! It was almost like the Lemon Pepper but with a little more kick. It was hard to pick out what was exactly in their La Rub, but I'm guessing it was the standard paprika, cayenne, garlic, oregano, pepper, etc. Whatever it was, it was delectable! Yom Yom Yom! Oh I tried their side of Cajun fried corn and it was surprisingly delicious. It was just a corn cob cut into one inch slices, flash grilled and tossed with their cajun seasoning. Yom Yom. It's hard to mess up wings right? You fry em up then coat em. Wings are like fried rice in Chinatown... everyone cooks em and Wingstop does an excellent job. Be prepared to wait especially on a football weekend. They suggest you place your order well in advance online or on the phone. My other suggestion would be to open before 11am on Saturdays during football season because some games start at 11! Welcome to Hoover! read more

This location was very busy and everyone was kicking it! The wings were great as always. If you want a wing cooked perfectly (not rubbery) this is your place. It seems well managed and the workers were pleasant even as busy as they were. I recommend this place! read more

It's was ok, customer service sucks and the worst part is you wait for your wings o my for them to be ok. The women in there don't even greet people and acknowledge customers. Tried it for the first time tonight- The front of the restaurant was full of people just waiting on their food. The service is insanely slow and the staff are not pleasant . It felt like I was inconveniencing them for asking for my drink cup, to have while I waited . I do not recommend this store. It's supposed to be newer to the Hoover area so I expected a lot more than I received. read more

I've never been to a Wingstop before, but this one is very close to my house and I've been on the hunt for a new wing place since Hooters is notoriously trash now. Decided to give it a try on game night. We went in to order and were quoted 25 minutes, but our order was ready sooner than that. I got two flavors of wings and they were very well packaged so that the flavors didn't mix. Also tried the loaded fries and they were very good. Way better than my most recent experience at Baumhower's at a fraction of the cost. Will definitely be back. read more

Food was great, but the service makes me never want to come back. The lady taking my order was rude the entire time she was taking my order. It was if I was putting her out by telling her what I wanted. She then proceeded to mock me calling the fries seasoned fries. First experience in day time was great. The manager was on his job. But Friday night they got stupid. Darn Juan decided to order me a classic bone in wing order when I asked for a boneless. I visited this business yesterday at 2:30. The food was good. The staff could not have been more unmotivated. The girl working the register mean mugged everyone that came up. The shift manager left people holding on the phone until they hung up. There was someone who ordered online and they still had to wait 10 minutes to receive their food. There was a total of 5 people working that I could see and they were ALL incompetent and unmotivated. One of the guys preparing orders just sold around. Won't be coming back. The service is absolutely terrible. The man who took our order was great but it took 30 mins and people here after us got it before. After going up to ask about our order they had forgotten about our entire order! Not usually one to complain but this was utterly ridiculous. Would give zero stars if possible. not only this but the manager seeming woman walked to the front to talk to someone when we were checking on our order looked at us and jus walked to the back without a word. After further investigation the manager is named samantha 0 stars on her specifically. read more

We had the absolute sweetest most respectful server today named Stephan. Great overall experience, and food came quickly, would go back.

Thankfully I got here right when they opened. If not I could see this being a place I would have to wait for a long period of time. Order was place online and was not ready when I arrived that was fine seeing as I was literally the first persons there and they appeared to still be getting everything ready. I order lemon pepper wings and fries. I specified that I wanted my wings fried hard, they were not. Fries are the only saving grace. They're crisp and seasoned to perfection. Whew let me tell you about the service I received at this location. I ordered my food on their website for delivery which went through DoorDash. I waited patiently and even received a message that my food was delivered followed immediately by a message saying my food order was canceled. I called Wingstop and asked to speak with a manager. The manager rudely told me that I need to call DoorDash because someone came to pick my order up and they took it I advised that I never got my food and I asked could I just pick it up. She said NO! It's out of our hands when DoorDash gets it. I called DoorDash who told me I needed to contact Wingstop. After going back and forth for hours I finally got a rep with DoorDash who called Wingstop to confirm I would get a refund. My issue was how I was treated. I shouldn't have to be hung up on and told I had to do extra work when my order was not handled correctly. I would not recommend this location to anyone. It's always some issue here. The workers are rude and we are spending our hard earned money with you all. I only gave a 1 because you have to give a score. TRASHHHH read more

But I get there to pick up my order and get back to the hotel and it's completely wrong. So I called and spoke back to her and she said that they will be making me a new order. After getting back the manager said that I ordered earlier and of course the food would be cold. I explained that I order and I picked it up 10 minutes after I ordered. New Years night victory party. Again Wing Stop was great. Friendly staffers hot food . Wonderful flavors and good size chicken wings.

My first time visiting Wing Stop was a good experience. The wings were great, I will be back.

I just had the best cheeseburger I have ever eaten at Wings Plus 5 in Hoover, Al. My son was wanting some wings and this store is close to home and has good wings. I didn't want wings so I looked at the menu on line and decided on a Cheeseburger with onion rings. The onion rings were very good, so I had some hope that the burger would be good. When I picked up the burger it was heavy and I figured I would at least have enough to eat. I opened the foil covering the burger and saw a nice patty with all the usual toppings, lettuce, tomato, onions and pickles. It was a good start. With the first bite my senses were overcome by the wonderful flavors. I have eaten burgers at all of the chains and most other burger places in Birmingham. I quickly finished the burger, savoring each bite. It left me wanting more. This the best burger I have ever eaten, period. read more

I would give this place a negative 5 stars if I could, they don't even deserve one. This place honestly needs to be shut down, that's how bad it is. I ordered my food on DoorDash at 9:00 pm, it says they don't close til 10:00. Next thing I know, my order was canceled and refunded AT 9:00 you know why? Bc they decided to CLOSE THE PLACE AT 9!!! We even drove past the place and they were closed. This isn't the first time, it's every time we order. I just stoped trying and will NEVER give my money to this dump, I even tell everyone do not go to this location bc it's terrible. All the workers need to be fired for rude attitudes over the phone and whoever is managing this place is a lazy clown and needs to be FIRED! Awful place! read more
