Very friendly and seemed genuinely excited for new customers and gave some recommendations. She provided excellent service! We decided to try the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Tortilla Chips. It was pretty good. Kind of an odd texture and not something we would get again, but were glad we tried it. We then decided to split the Carolina Burger and the Steak Quesadilla. The burger was good, messy but good! The tater tots were good as well. The meat inside the quesadilla seemed more like smashburger type hamburger meat rather than actual steak, but again pretty good. Not a whole lot going on with it, wish it had peppers/onions in it as well or as an option to add for more flavor. We would probably not get anything we ordered again but will definitely go back to try another recommendation from Kelley, or even just for an appetizer and a few drinks if she is tending bar.

It's a sports bar atmosphere with several televisions and ample seating. The servers are always kind and attentive. Their burgers are delicious, which I normally get with hot chips on the side. Tonight I tried the steak tips with Mac &cheese and green beans. It was delicious, and I cleaned my plate! My daughter got the chicken nachos which were so tasty. The chips were actually made in house with flour tortillas! Can't beat the variety and flavor, along with the prices that are comparable to other places in the area. Give it a try!

You end up waiting for your food for a while, it's not made as one order, and by the time you get home, it's no longer fresh. Dining in was a whole other experience! The food came out hot and was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent as well! If you're going to eat here, dine in for the full experience!

Have been seeing and hearing a lot of great things from friends and on social media about Slim…read moreChickens, so decided to give it a try. We arrived about 7pm, on a Friday and the restaurant wasn't very busy at all. My wife and I had both signed up for their rewards program which automatically gave us each a $5 discount on our first orders, so using the kiosks, we placed our orders separately to take advantage of the discount. Their menu is pretty on par with other chicken spots, offering wings, tended, sandwichs. Pricing is on, maybe a little high for chicken. We placed our orders to go, I ordered a chicken tender basket with an Oreo milkshake, my wife got a chicken sandwich meal. After ordering we took a seat to wait, and wait...and wait. After about 15 minutes, my milk shake was ready, another 10 minutes, my food finally came out...and then we had to wait another 10+ minutes for my wife's food to be ready...far from fast food, 2 basic orders took over 30 minutes to prepare....pretty shameful. It was very clear they seem to put a priority on delivery and online orders over in store ordering. And they also seemingly only have one person in the kitchen that can only prepare one meal at a time. It's clear they are short staffed, but there are no signs up or perceived attempts at hiring. When we finally got home, the food was good, and the portions were adequate, but the slow food prep and lack of customer service is a huge deterrent for me to return any time soon.

All of the employees we encountered were very friendly. Ally was our server and was AMAZING. We told her it was our first time there and she gave us some great recommendations. They also made a really good margarita and I am not typically a fan of traditional margaritas. The food and drink recommendations she made for the table were great, and the onion rings are definitely the best ones we've had in the area since relocating here. Both sandwiches we had were great. The Chicken Philly had a little bit of a kick to it, which made it a nice change from usual Philly sandwiches and the Cuban was different from a traditional Cuban as it had some barbecue sauce on it. It was a little different for me at first, but I ended up really liking it. Both salads were pretty big and both people really liked the salads. The person that got the blackened grouper Baja salad thought that the grouper was fabulous, seasoned perfectly and loved the salad overall. This will definitely be a place added to our usual rotations...

Great casual atmosphere, the staff have really come into their own, and the food is simple but has little touches that often make it a small cut above most other sports bar type places around. My favorite things to order are the smashburgers, chicken philly (almost as good as the one at Old Town, a restaurant also belonging to this same owner), and now the fish and chips. I decided to get those last night, and the fish was two good size thick cod filets, fried and breaded perfectly. The fish was flaky and tender, the remoulade it came with really elevated it, I'm glad it was not plain tartar sauce (gross). The appetizer favorite here is the pulled pork nachos for me, otherwise, we usually just get meals. If I had one small complaint, it's that the tea is usually brewed pretty weak. Steep it a little longer, and you've got me fully hooked.

They should have been hot and crispy, but they were warm and soggy. At this point, we could have turned around to ask for hot ones, but the original wait time was very long we chose just to head home so my long desired Popeyes chicken tenders would stay warm. We got home, I ran to the table and pulled out the now very soggy cold fries, tossed them in the toaster oven and grabbed the large box to dig into my tenders. To my great disappointment it was a box of fried chicken. So now we had cold fries and fried chicken. The fried chicken tasted fine. But it was a not so happy experience. The girl, who had been there for quite some time didn't smile, staring me down like she wanted to fight, being condescending, attitude all over her face and I didn't let her get to me. I just said ok, because I was placing an order. Then she stood there like she didn't even want to take the order. I ended up leaving because I'm not spending my money where you're going to treat me any kind of way. I'm paying their salary. Plus, I was trying to treat myself. They need to change the staff or shut it down. If I could give it a ZERO I would. This is the Popeye's on N. Main Street in High Point.

As I approached the counter I was quickly redirected to go back and order from the kiosk, despite there being no one in the restaurant and several employees just standing around waiting behind the register. Right off the bat that rubbed me the wrong way, it's a complete lack of customer service. The kiosk is a bit backwards, seemingly not showing pricing until you add the item, which was frustrating, so I had to keep glancing across the restaurant to the menu board so I didn't have to keep adding and removing items. I finally settled on the chicken, bacon cheese sandwich, opting out of the combo since it's $12, and I was going home anyway. The food came out fairly quickly, again, the place was empty. I took the sandwich home, it was good, but not great, a bit too greasy for my liking. The portion size was good, and more than enough for a lunch. Overall, not for me, their competitors certainly offer friendlier and better customer service, and cleaner food quality.
