I usually like going here to get wings, but I was kinda bummed out last night (Tuesday, April 14 2020). I placed a Phone order, and everything seemed to go fine until I got there. I was told that masks are required inside the restaurant, and there were neither signs posted on the door, nor was there anything mentioned on the phone call. and on top of that, County of San Diego has not made it a requirement to wear masks in public. I understand everything that's going on, but people need to be informed of this before they go pick up their orders. luckily, the good Samaritan offered me a brand new mask from his truck. I was very disappointed to see what seemed to be the shift manager not wearing a mask for about half the time I was there. And when it was on, it was barely hanging on. If it is this company's policy to require masks inside the restaurant during COVID-19, the public needs to be notified, and the staff follow those requirements also. I almost walked out of the restaurant when I saw her without her mask in the kitchen handling my food. from here on out, I more than likely will get my wings from Costco and bake them in the oven. We walked in and the front table was dirty. Full of bones and trash from whoever sat there. My husband got the hot wings. I got garlic parmesan. We were NOT impressed at all. His were not even spicy at all. Thetly had a peppery flavor that was gross. Mine had no flavor. No trace of garlic flavor. They came out and it looks like someone just drowned them in that Kraft grated Parmesan cheese you get at the dollar store. And that's all I tasted. The wings were so oily. They need to do better. The staff was not attentive and the place was just filthy. That table stayed that way the ENTIRE hour we were there. No attempt at all to even remove the trash. So unappetizing to look at. Yesterday I went to my local Wingstop in Escondido for the National Chicken Wing Day where they offered 5 FREE wings for any purchase of wings. I went around 9:30ish and was really looking forward to it. When I got there I could hear the empelotes complaining about how backed up they were. Even a customer that placed her order 45 minutes ago was told to wait a whole another hour. When I went up to the register to place my orders. The lady told me that they weren't making anymore chicken wings just tenders. I looked at her confused but she just replied to me asking me if I wanted any tenders and I said no that I only came for the chicken wings special. I left the placed confused wonder if there was a time limit or specialized restriction placed. So I went back to my original email and found that the offer was good for all day and didn't specify if the orders were Online or dine in only. So that made me very upset especially since I was really hungry. I'm pretty sure they were supposed to honer it but they didn't want to take my order cause they were so behind on all the previous ones. I won't be coming to this place again and I'll be telling all my friends to avoid this place, since they obviously don't seem to want our business anyways. read more

We walked in for the first time last night and had some questions about the menu because it was different than the online one we saw. The cashier came up to us and asked if we needed a moment we said yes. She then proceeded to make a phone call sit down and start eating in front of the register. I tried to make eye contact with her in order to ask her a question but her phone call and food was much more important to her. She kept eating. I glanced back and noticed that none of the food handlers were wearing gloves which isn't a big deal but still kind of gross. Everyone working today was really friendly and it's pretty reasonably priced for how much food you get. I got the medium and it was plenty for me, had to go back in because my younger sister wanted some.
